Thank you for this video! I have the SSA387J1 version of this watch, I think it's beautiful. I wear it more than my Baume et Mercier dress watch. Imagine my shock when the glass was suddenly covered in scratches. Ridiculous that Seiko don't use sapphire. I'm going to try this upgrade. Michael
You're welcome. By now it's been a year since I've made the upgrade. My watch is still 100% scratch-free. Totally worth the investment, in my opinion. I agree that this the way Seiko should do it from the factory.
I have the prassage green dial and I love it. Still got a scratch on it and it really ticked me off. I'm looking and might send it out or get a jeweler to do it locally. I would have paid for it already installed if they had done it at assembly.Just a couple of bucks more
The description on their site says it's compatible with the SRPB41, SRPB43, SRPB46, SRPB77, SSA358, SSA359, SRPD36, SSA343, SRPD37, SSA393, and SSA392. But, I think yours is a newer model from the same, or very similar, series. Visit the Long Island Watch website (link in description) and shoot them an email if you want to be 100% sure. I would ask them first before placing an order. My crystal is still 100% scratch-free, by the way, and I wear it every day. Very worthwhile upgrade.
Update 6 months later using the watch as daily driver: Crystal is still 100% scratch-free. I wholeheartedly recommend this upgrade.

Thanks for that.
I've now ordered it on your recommendation.
I'll let you know how it goes...

Moest je nog invoerkosten of iets dergelijks betalen? Of had je met 100$ ook echt de Sapphire Chrystal binnen?

Wonder if it would fit SRPE45... Id imagine it would as it's also cocktail time, but it's not listen on the long island site..
I would send them an email before ordering to know for sure if I were you l.
Does this upgrade work for SRPK15J1 Cocktail Time ?
