I said empty your mind,

If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup
If you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle
you put into a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can flow or it can crash,
Be water my friend.
Actually you see, Its a combination of both.
Here is natural instinct and here is control,
you are to combine the two harmony.
if you have one to the extreme you become very unscientific
if you have another to the extreme you become all of a sudden a mechanical man.
no longer a human being
its a successful combination of both
the word super star really turned me off

He's talking about expressing yourself in a way that there is a balance between natural instinct and self conrol and how to flow continuously in that way. Not to allow either one to block that flow. To be prepared for whatever comes because you are maintaining that balance.

If Bruce Lee had been allowed to live, he would have solved fear. He would have solved pain and anger. He would have solved money and he would have solved tribalism. If Bruce Lee had been allowed to live He would have exposed the universal truths and he would have been THE example to us all. He was no God, he was no mystic. He was a modern man who studied the truth he found inside himself and in his world like it was undogmatic religion and he accepted what he found as he found it back into himself from the ultimate position of power .... like water. Id say he died for our sins, but then he would have competition ... and Bruce Lee had no competition. Water is not passive, it shapes mountains, but it is patient, and thats where Bruce fell short ... human that he was.

If you are a fighter or an athlete...you'll clearly understand what Bruce is talking about. He's putting it all together for you to become the ultimate athlete. But you must grasp and understand what he's talking about and put it all together or else it won't work. In other words, you need both talent and brain to do what he's teaching. Those that can put these things together will become super athletes.

So when you flow like water you are in constant conscious awareness. You don't crash when you are in control.
He's referring to everything in life, be it an athlete, martial artist or what ever. If you incorporate the idea and philosophy of water into your mental state, there's nothing you can't overcome. Water can seep through granite, it can flow or it can crash, etc. He's also saying, if you got something beat in your mind already, chances are you're going to win the actual battle as well. Between two elite athletes, the one with the better equipped mental state will likely win.

Most of you guys think that Bruce lee try to tell us to *become water* but he try to tell us *be water* is mean when you are fighting with someone be formless ,shapeless and relax your body .
