Randall, I know of a local that’s had 9 out of 30 starve out since the last cold spell we had. You are definitely correct about the nectar dearth. I’m trying to keep an eye on mine. Thanks for the video!
Wow you have a lot of bee hives. I watch the bee keeper that lives in Gulfport Mississippi and he does go and pick up bee hives from people that have them making a nest inside their homes
I'll bet that Formic Pro will get you where you want to be with the mites. Do you plan on doing a mite wash in two weeks on a couple of hives to confirm your mite treatment working? Did you get a freeze to kill your flowers a bit? We had 2 F this morning and tomorrow the same is expected. I'm hoping for a good cleansing day. LOL
I sure hope so. Yes I will wash at 2 weeks to verify. We had 22 and 26 on back to back nights. It killed our peaches, most of the pears and blue berries. Now to watch for severe weather for the next 4 weeks.
@@randallcarter-carterhillho2277 I was worried about those blooms for you guys. That stinks but hopefully something else will step in and give you a good flow.
