Super easy Elden Ring rune farming spot

- My favorite rune farming spot I've found so far playing elden ring. I actually ended up finding this place very early game and it's not a friendly route to initially get here but easily doable on horse back. The gray guys are passive and easy to get a back stab critical from the start then solo.
If you're still low level and not able to fight the red guys, stay near the cliff edge and roll dodge them as they hedgehog roll at you and they'll fly off the ledge and die still giving you the 2044 runes. To play it safe try agroing the reds 1 by 1 first.

Shout out to @Lokios for the tip, definitely snipe the closest bird across the gap, it'll run straight off the ledge towards you for an extra 11k+ runes
Also make sure to shoot the closest bird across the gap. Doing that then, wiping out all of those guys fives mad souls

Use the elden Beast sword. Best way
Only been playing about 2 weeks or so rn so don't think I have that one yet. I have an arc build rn so using the pole blade until I finish upgrading the rivers of blood.

@Mabumba I mean I'm not exactly in a rush to get through the main story line, I've done a ton of side quests and sometimes just mess around pvping and summoning in for randoms. Also more like 8 or 9 days really

My tip for this (if you don’t have the elden beast sword yet) would be to either use Mohgs trident (scales with arcane) as it hits in a big circle around you
OR beat Radahn (and use his remembrance at the two fingers in RT hold) and use his greatswords special ability.
Also another tip would be to get the ”golden scarab” talisman, as it increases the runes you get by 20%.
Golden scarab + gold-pickled fowl foot (which increases runes by 30% (can get the recipe for this by doing Patches’ quest))
