I bought the Mighty Boss Spray in a bottle for $7.99. I found it at Tractor Supply bcuz I didn't want to wait for it to be delivered. I've tried everything on my fiberglass/acrylic shower walls & tub & this works exactly as you see in the video but the key to getting off hard built up soap scum is to spray water on your shower walls & tub first & spray the Mighty Boss Cleaner really well on the tough spots & then let it sit for about 10 min. I used a clean regular Scotch Brite dish sponge & used the scratchy surface starting at the top of the walls first & worked my way down to the bottom & gently apply pressure & it comes right off. It doesn't scratch the surface either. This is the only stuff I found that actually works. I'd like to thank you for sharing this video as this will be my go to shower cleaner from now on.
I watched this video about a year ago and ordered a gallon jug of Mighty Boss on Amazon. I've been sharing it with my daughter who loves it as much as I do. I've been neglecting the stove fan filter for 7 years!! Needless to say it was caked in oil and dust and it was GROSS. I was going to order a replacement online since most stores are closed due to Covid-19, but then I thought hey...why not try Mighty Boss? So I put on gloves and set the filter in my kitchen sink and sprayed Mighty Boss all over it. It's a silver dome shaped filter. In just a matter of 2-4 minutes the grease was just melting off. I rinsed it in hot water and it came out sparkling and shiny and silver again. No scrubbing required. Thank you for sharing this video. It works great and I love your honest reviews. God bless!!
I want to thank you for telling the people like me who have been trying for years to get rid of all the dirt stains off their fiberglass showers about this product. I have watched many videos on RUclips of people trying to get their fiberglass clean. When I saw your video I thought sure it works just that simple but I decided that I had spent $6.99 on dumb stuff before so I bought some. And lo and behold it works just like you said I just can’t believe how easy it was to get rid of the stains. Thanks so much for the good advice.
Ordered 1 Gallon of Mighty Boss from amazon ($22) and used it this afternoon on my fiberglass shower. Works Beautifully! THANK YOU SO MUCH MR. DOING IT CHEAP! So glad you made this video = )
I have to agree, this stuff is great! Two weeks ago I started cleaning a fiberglass boat that had been setting for two years. I first tried some expensive mold and mildew cleaner. I didn't like how much elbow grease it took. So I started digging around in my supply of cleaners and found an almost empty bottle of Mighty Boss. I sprayed it on the dry boat surface and immediately the black stains and mildew started flowing off! It beat the expensive stuff, hands down! I'm sold!
I have that fiberglass tub/shower. unit you have, Ive had it for 40years plus I have a fiberglass shower unit in another bathroom...As soon as i saw your video * went out and got Mighty Boss and its everything you say... Thank you so much.. I have gone through the same thing you did, there is nothing that will clean that thoroughly except Mighty Boss..It shines like brand new.. I would think you could also use Boat wax on it.. Thank you Sir.
Bought this cleaner. Sprayed my shower unit and let it set over night. Used a soft brush with an extension handle the next morning. OMGoodness the dirt and soap scum almost just rinsed off. Very little brushing was required to clean the unit. Great Cleaner. Thank You.
I bought a gallon of this off ebay. You can get it at Tractor Supply too.Usually i'm not swayed by too much....but it does work.I used it full strength in a spray bottle for my fiberglass shower stall. Use a sponge with it.Impressive results.Easy too.
Oh my goodness that looks like my horrible shower. Nothing has removed it. I hope this works. I think the texture grabs all the dirt and holds onto it. Can't wait to try it. Thank you so much!!!!
Sounds like my Grandpa except replace the "dad-gum" with another expletive and translate the whole sentence into French so the kids won't know you're cussing.
If you're on a well with high calcium and rust in the water, the buildup can get pretty tough. I have a 1 pc shower stall and a 1 piece fiberglass tub. Both had years of buildup that was thick. Just terrible. The porcelain sink and toilet was just as bad. I used a product from JACE INDUSTRIES called "Crust Buster". It attacks the lime scale and rust like CLR "says" it does. Now my bathroom sinks, toilets, tubes, and shower and shower door look like new. This product here will work good on soap scum and light deposits, but I'm talking removing hard-caked on lime, calcium and rust deposits.
Cuts like a new knife! Been staying up late nights writing, and sleeping in most mornings, so I have missed your coffee chats, hope to see you again soon.
That looked like some pretty good stuff. I don't know how my wife got ours clean but now we use the Dollar General version of the magic eraser to keep it clean.
omg Thank you so much for this tip I've been doing property maintenance for 14 years-and I've been paying a tub company to come in and redo that tub because I couldn't get the Soap scum off I can't wait to try this to Monday morning
New Sub. Thanks for the tip. My husband's shower is disgusting too & I've tried everything but, I've never heard of Mighty Boss. I'll make sure & buy some myself. You did bring back a memory of something stupid I did way back when to clean a rental house kitchen counter top & that was mixing bleach & ammonia being young & stupid of course. lol.
That's works great. Never seen it at our tractor supply, I've used marine cleaners on my shower. Fibreglass boats and fibreglass showers are the same thing,
Wow, thank you for introducing this cleaner to us. Till now I've used brand x Magic Eraser pads on our shower wall but from the price you showed Mighty Boss is a smarter option.
I wonder if it would work on drywall. This is a great video. This looks like the product I need. Thank you very much. I don't know what else you do on this channel, but this video was so good I subscribed.
I bought the spray bottle version to clean my fiberglass walls that have the brown tinged stains. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me like it did for you. I even used a scrub mommy ( after using a microfiber cloth), but it just lightened it. I’ll try it again, but will probably end up using the whole bottle.
Thank you so much!! I unfortunately have Bi-lateral chronic carpal tunnel and I’ve been using white vinegar to try to get the hard water deposits that are on that fiberglass and it kills my arms and hands to scrub that hard. This looked like you didn’t have to scrub it hard at al!! Which would be a dream come true to me and a big help to me in my house.
I ordered some. See what happens. Last week, Service Master referred me to a refinisher service because they said my job looked "tough" (from the pics I sent them by phone). The refinishers are hard to reach and seem to play games.
Holy crap!! i've looked at 12 videos and all ways of cleaning those damg gum showers. THESE RESULTS ARE OUTSTANDING. THANK YOU FOR THE VID. i dont if it's gonna eat up the fiberglass, but that crap is gone
I've got some lime build up in my toilet...I tried sanivac..lime away, chipped some off w/a better knife....got any ideas what can dissolve that mess?? Thanks roz
rozozzy pumice works amazingly well for a toilet. My mom was visiting last month and bought this $3 pumice from the hardware store and made the toilet look like new. We had tried everything on it before.
i dont have any iron pipes ...our well water is loaded with iron ...CLR dont do shit for it our tub shower when we put it in was white like yours didnt take long to turn orange and now its almost brown its got so dark
Bought this and was hoping it would work on My textured fiberglass. Took some stains off, but the yellowing at tub level still there:(. My tub/shower, is 30+ years old. Your b4 looks better than mine. I was thinking fiberglass heavy stain remover? I've tried at least 10 products including oven cleaner, str8 bleach, bloom w oxyclean. Nope. Nada.

Paw Paw, you should have taken that power washer after that shower. I got me a steam cleaner, i bought 20 years ago. It does a fantastic job on showers with no cleaners. Another good product to use is Zap. I am going to look for the product you got there. Where can you get it?

No issues with the stuff turning colors or causing any issues with the fiberglass after all of this time?

I like it, but at $4.99 a quart it is a little pricey. But it works and almost no energy involved in wiping clean !
Wow...thx for the tip!
That stuff looks amazing! I really need a cleaner like that. Maybe I can get it on Amazon, as someone mentioned before. Thanks for posting!
Also Tractor Supply
Its a miracle. Im ordering right now
I'll be going to buy this tomorrow! I'm trying to scrub my tub now. I can never quite get all the scum off
I used the spray bottle do I need the gallon jug? It didn't do like your demo.
I got to get some of that stuff thanx Paw Paw.

If you have a good waterproof coat of paint it might. I know you can't let it sit on a car. It will take the paint off !!
I'm gonna get some as soon as I can find someone to pick me up off the floor.
what a great video thank you sir
This stuff really does work!
Just ordered this product off amazon. Can’t wait. My tub/shower drives me crazy. I can’t get it clean.
Awesome Job...
Amazon has it $12.95 for thr spray bottle quart or $16.95 for the gallon jug.
i just ordered some,,,thanks
Family coming to visit next month, this video saved my ass thank you! Mighty Boss should cut you a check my friend.

Hey Pawpaw, are ingredients listed on the bottle?
wow I need me some mighty boss thanks so much for sharing
It is good stuff !
Thank you. Where is it sold though? There aren't many items to clean fiberglass tubes!! Glenn
Tractor Supply and Walmart

Do you think it would work on cultured marble without damaging the surface?
I know it will take the paint off a car.
Hi Paw Paw. Just so happens that mine needs cleaning too. Where did you find the cleaner?
Tractor Supply
after watching this video my shower is now clean as my wife got someone in to fix the problem while i fell asleep waiting for this video to end.
thanks Paw Paw
Good Morning PawPaw Where are you from? Thanks for your advice. I have learned a lot from you!

Mighty boss 👍👍👍
Hot damn my new RV wash

Tractor Supply and some Walmart stores.

May be an off brand of " Purple Power " ? I was going to try awesome, my tubs and walls aren't that scummy but... Thanks for the info.
What was the ratio of water to solution that you used ?
I don't add water.
Oh wow!!!!!!
I have never seen that product. Do you know what it contains? Also, wondered if that was just soap scum or also Iron water stain?
No stain. The only cleaner I found that would work before was WD-40. I don't know why this was so hard to get clean.
Hi Paw Paw! Sweet Tessie sent me. 💕
Awesome
The alcohol cleans oil and tar. Alcohol and salt works good. Salt scrubs dosent disolve in high %alcohol. really good for cleaning bong!
I'm gonna have to try some of that stuff if I can find it
Just do a google search, you can order from Walmart on line or look at some of these locations. www.mightyboss.com/html/where_to_buy_.html
I wonder how this will work on hard water stains?
I don't know.
Hey paw paw did you use it diluted or full strength just curious
FULL strength but less than 12 ounces did the entire shower and tub.
where do you buy mighty boss?
Tractor Supply and possibly Walmart.
Is this concentrated? Do you need to add water?
I use it full strength.
Thanks for sharing.
Do you use it full strength or diluted?
Depends on the application. In this video it was full strength to spray on and wipe off.
@@DoingItCheap ok thanks
i wonder if that stuff works on iron i have lots of iron in our water and leaves everything orange
Dunno Grizz. This is more of a cleaner than a rust stain remover. I would try that CLR for the rust stains.
i dont have any iron pipes ...our well water is loaded with iron ...CLR dont do shit for it our tub shower when we put it in was white like yours didnt take long to turn orange and now its almost brown its got so dark
I would google the question.

Is it possible that your tub has been exposed to sunlight?
DoingItCheap - no, no window iin room. Its just the tub part that defies cleaning :(
Use the Mighty Boss, but instead of wiping it, Scrub it with a stiff bristle brush or a blue or green scouring pad.
