from ...And Justice for All
Lyrics:
Dear Mother
Dear Father
What Is this Hell You Have Put Me Through
Believer
Deceiver
Day in Day out Live My Life Through You
Pushed onto Me What's Wrong or Right
Hidden from this Thing That They Call Life
Dear Mother
Dear Father
Every Thought I'd Think You'd Disapprove
Curator
Dictator
Always Censoring My Every Move
Children Are Seen But Are Not Heard
Tear out Everything Inspired
Innocence
Torn from Me Without Your Shelter
Barred Reality
I'm Living Blindly
Dear Mother
Dear Father
Time Has Frozen Still What's Left to Be
Hear Nothing
Say Nothing
Cannot Face the Fact I Think for Me
No Guarantee,it's Life as Is
But Damn You for Not Giving Me My Chance
Dear Mother
Dear Father
You Clipped My Wings Before I Learnt to Fly
Unspoiled
Unspoken
I've Outgrown That Fucking Lullaby
Same Thing I've Always Heard from You
Do as I Say Not as I Do
Innocence
Torn from Me Without Your Shelter
Barred Reality
I'm Living Blindly
I'm in Hell Without You
Cannot Cope Without You Two
Shocked at the World That I See
Innocent Victim Please Rescue Me
Dear Mother
Dear Father
Hidden in Your World You've Made for Me
I'm Seething
I'm Bleeding
Ripping Wounds in Me That Never Heal
Undying Spite I Feel for You
Living out this Hell You Always Knew
Can't think of a better way to end an album.
God damn it! Why can't I play this any louder!!
that reaction made me smile, i as bass player are very proud of this reaction
If the bass was enhanced, this album may have been as good or better than Master of Puppets.
***** Definitely Lars Best work imho
I prefer the reduced bass, without it the drums and guitars sound a lot more raw, reflects the events surrounding the making of the album in a way.
+CajunMetalHead1994 Look up "...And Justice for Jason." It's the whole album with enhanced bass.
Dealing with an abusive Step Dad/Family as a child, this song always hit home for me! Will always be one of my favorite songs, period!
o metallica é foda demais !!!!!!!!!
Dat singer, guitarist, bassist and DRUMMER!!
I can't stop moving my head while I'm listening this songgggggggggggg!
One of Lars' best songs on the drums.
Best METALLICA album BY FAR!! At this point, they were playing really well, technically speaking, and were also very heavy, that's how I like Thrash Metal. They improved technically with Black Album, but BA isn't as heavy as this one (I'm not saying it's not good, because I like it too...)
"Cannot not the Kingdom of Salvation take me home?"
The drums are incredible!
+Montse Carrera neil pert who?
Luxurious
when they played this live i punched my parents in the face! screaming "do as i say not as i do!"
one of my favorite song ever \m/
hey! your my favorite song!
Jak słuchają Dyers Eve to ich serdecznie pozdrów, bo mają zajebisty gust.
once i nearly broke my neck headbanging to this. worth it tough
very good muy buena cancion de MeTALLICA!!!!! ME GUSTA TAMBN ....And justice for all Saludos desde colombia Splynther
xP
I've been listening to this song since 1995, when I discovered the magic of Metallica. Reading the top comments makes me sad. People talking about the drumming of Lars, who freaking rocks if you see him live. Saw them twice in NJ two months ago and they were amazing. It's great that they can play songs like that 25 years later. Talk about headbanging.
Do you know that feeling when your stomach is "shaking" in a concert?... that is the bass :D
Cannot cope without youtube
And people say Lars is a bad drummer ... this is EPIC !
one of their best songs ever played .
check out the new loudwire video explains that lars wanted the bass in the mix of the album to barerly being noticable because of jason newsted about his 1st year with metallica
i don't listen metallica, but this song it's awesome
metallica's last masterpiece
How about everyone stops bitching over who is the best drummer and enjoy this legendary song.
WANA NANA ALL!
HeadPhones HD + Metallica + Dyers Eve (Batery) = So fuking Good
Happy Mother's day
Hysteria by muse and for whom the bell tolls by Metallica
Dyers Eve - Metallica
From ...And Justice For All (1988)
Καλο μεσημερι...
spellbound venom Τι κάνουμε????
Have you heard of 5 and 6 string basses? They're quite popular.
You ever listened to Evile? They are literally a Metallica for the 21st century man!
metallica's best fucking song
HEY HEY HEY! i saw them a few weeks ago, lars does the double bass extremely good, the problem is that in the videos it sort of gets muted, i promise, see him live. not perfect but he does it and he does it good!
wicked ass song !!!!!!!
long time I did not hear this shit!
At the end of the song is the message saying he was wrong and his parents were right?
Fuck, I think ,,...And Justice for all" is really underrated album
Master of Puppets> Ride the Lightning> The Black Album> ...And Justice for All>Kill Em' All> Load> Reload> Death Magnetic>Garage Inc.> St. Anger
"Oooh I'm gonna name a load of shitty, obscure bands no one has heard of, nor cares about, so I sound like I have a better taste in music!"
Lars May not be the best, but he's the drummer of Metallica, arguably the biggest metal band in history, and that shits on all the other drummers you named buddy... Nuff said
I remember listening to this song back in '91 on my headphones and my aunt (who I lived with) would come screaming at me cause a friend would be on the phone and I never heard her call me. I'd just think, "fuck, this song is so true". Im 35 now, and as you hit the pub/club scene and endure life in all it's raw in your face 'fuck you' glory you experience everything the generation before you always knew but hid from you. This song is a work of genius! It's spot on! LISTEN TO IT, AND LEARN!
try Steve Harris, John Entwistle or Geddy Lee
MY JELLY WOBBLES TO DISS THEN EXPLODES RIPPING MY BIG NOSE AWAY FROM MY BOGIES
@infinitycode8 the drummer of slayer
Pisses me off how he has a drum set up like Ringo now!
Use to be a damn mountain of drums!
steve harris was the man who brought the base to the very front of music- the galloping rhythm he sets with adrian smith and dave murray is a lot of what made iron maiden great. you'll hear some members of metallica (including hettfield) say they disliked the black album (or the one that came before it)because you couldn't hear the base, the base has always been important and not just in this era of metal- but as far back as led zeppelin (my personal favorite), black sabbath and rainbow.
I love when GOD shares his downlaods, ty GOD!!
yeah and the most important part, it was w/o dave. =)
hahaha if u download Adblock Plus for Chrome or Firefox this ads disappear o/
believe me :)
Happy birthday Lars!!
have you ever heard of Gar Samuelson, Chris Adler, Jimmy †the rev† Sullivan? no?
@phalarias any? :)
But Medageth has a bassplayer, can you hear any from this track (LP/CD/Youtrash)? ;)
Thrash indeed...
I'm great Megadeth fan, but Metallica is legend!
@elpikac117 very well said! :)
this song is one of those metallica's hidden masterpieces
HHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA it's good for ...and justice for all :D
This song is awesome in its use of thrash, but always feels emotional.
WHAT IS THIS HELL YOU HAVE PUT ME THROUGH?
WOW o my god
Se não fosse Dave Mustaine,Metallica não seria Metallica. isso é fato

@phalarias what do you mean? you know slayer for example has faster and more aggressive songs... are you trying to prove that slayer owns metallica?
giving in too the dream
I don't think Lars' technical performances at shows aren't that great, but I don't spend my time at gigs analysing the technical performances of the bands I see.
Live shows aint about it sounding exactly like the album/studio versions, its about the band and the fans connecting, and I personally like it when metal bands improvise and don't play their songs perfect, because it's like a whole new experience.
I don't just want to hear the exact same thing I heard on the album on live speakers.
@phalarias ye it owns megadeth cus they couldnt play it live untill 2004 cus it was too fast... LMAO!
Any Slayer Song is faster than this, well most of them, reign in blood album was around 210 bpm...
but who cares what a girl says.. this song is really good since im not a metallica fan nd i heard a few of their songs i wasnt expecting something this good, i guess ill take my time to "DOWNLOAD" this album nd the albums b4 black, nd ye megadeth songs are faster--
man, you don't have to have a top tuned pc to hear the bass..
my pc has the age of keys and bass is very clear to me!
(however i am a bit jealous of yous pc...oh, the games you can play..)
The drumming on this whole album is so fucking good. Tho Lars has admited to druming bits and piece's of the songs and putting them together to create one final drum track. Many artist's do it so there's nothing wrong with it. Just suck's he can't play the songs as good live.
i love mj but this band is very nice
This song makes the hair on my chest itch..like really bad...no wait...it's actually Wolfen hair growing out of my original hairs...DAMN it hurts!
I know right :D !
Damn... I want things to change as fucking soon as possible.
i dont have any talent playn guitar or drums, so i cant handle this myself, but i do expect, that someone, somewhere.... could just revive the 80's heavy spirit, cuz the world is full of shit, its all fucked up.
U know, no more bring me the horizon nor avenged sevenfold shits... Im talking about THE FAST RIFFS AND FUCK HEADBANGING!
Okay, why the fuck is there a Metallica/Megadeth discussion on every Metallica vid around here? Discussing which one is better is like discussing which color is better,no point,it's all a matter of taste. A Metallica fan doesn't have to like all of their work,i personally love them all,I'm not a Metallica wannabe fanboy,i'm just fine with all the styles they represent in each of their albums. Megadeth fans, you won't prove a point,go back to Megadeth videos and like them instead of dislkiking this
It all comes to personal opinion... I consider Metallica the best band ever to exist but for instance i'm just not drawn to Master of Puppets that much. Besides what many others say, i fucking love ReLoad and Load as well. I agree with you on Ride the Lightning. It's my favorite too with ...And Justice For All right there beside it. Cheers!
I listened Slayer earlier and not impresed, been on their concert to...they are OK but not "supernatural" skill like most of their fans says...also been on Metallica concert when they were in Belgrade two times, liked more than Slayer but also wasn't impresed...I think its overrated that argue who is beter or who is the best....sry if bad engl
@nekavpustinqk Whatever you said in this last message of yours, you dont have right to say that their 3 albums suck. You cant judge about match problems if you dont know math. So you cant judge on their music, if you cant play and if you are not as popular as them. We can argue about this as much as we want, but one thing is for sure METALLICA RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!
@bojance11pa
This is why i dont consider myself a Metallica fan and I`ve never said I am.I love the first albums up to the Black Album, which is ok,but not as good as the first ones. The three after that suck. And the fact that you think that if you are a fan of something, you dont have the right to criticise it and you must accept everything is sad
@infinitycode8 Maybe, but i can think about many better drummers than Lars, and Dave is first in that list.
From what I recall, Korn don't have bassists, they have 7 string guitars down-tuned to drop-A. There's no need to have a bassist as it would be just as low as the guitar.
Also, it's still the same in modern Korn :).
A more adequate analogy would be Anaethesia: Pulling Teeth.
why do people insist that metallica is dead? sure they have a country-ish blluesy sound, but i think we can all agree that death magnetic was pretty damn heavy also, and lulu is NOT OFFICIAL they said themselves they are already making an official metallica album shortly after lulu was released
All I remember is their guitars essentially being bass. I used to use that tuning on occasion when I played and there is no need for a bass as it sounds just the same.
Not saying it's definite, hence why I said 'From what I recall' :P
Ride the Lightning>Master of Puppets(even though its creators say that Master is better)>...And Justice for All=Kill em All>The Black Album>Death Magnetic>Garace Days>Load=St.Anger=Reload..
My favourites anyway are Ride the Lightning and Death Magnetic.
Dear all you who say lars is a bad drummer now....
HE IS GETTING OLD!!!!
It's nothing insulting it's just like u know people get old..
and he has really done something in his life and doesn't blame you for not being as fit as you where before.....
So he's earned the right to slack off and be lazy now then, has he? No. A ticket to see Metallica costs a fan more now than it ever has, so I don't want to pay a fortune to see a half-assed dried up performance. I want FACE SHREDDING METAL.
I know them and i think Lars is better. I don't mean the best is the fastest, the fastest is Lombardo, but without good skills. Listen to double bass on this album and toms, Lars is the best and your arguments are invalid
The only album Lars can be shown as a really good drummer. As a drummer and huge fan, i think i'm pretty right about what i said... :)
Sorry if i spelled something wrong, english is not my natural language.
1988.....i had just got out of basic training in the USAF. LOOOOOONGING for the release of the next Metallica album....and hearing them mix Jason Newsted out of the mix. I'm disappointed to this day.
@zombislayerpwnsnoobs He's saying he was sheltered so much that he was unprepared for his life without them, so he hates them for doing that to him.
I hear that James Hetfield uses nothing but downstrokes to play this song, and that during the recording session he had to be fed ketamine in order to slow him down so that Lars could keep up
@DziobekPl yes buddy!! with better sound, it would be like a volcano explosion!
everyone has their own opinion, so why start a fight about it??? i think that Lars is the best drummer aswell. Cuz hes drumming and hes drum beats are something ive never seen!
There are a lot of bands reviving the 80's thrash spirit. Violator, Suicidal Angels, Fueled by Fire, Havok, Vektor, Evile, Gama Bomb or Bonded by Blood. You should check them...
@LicMegags you're right , i know, but Lars used to rape his fucking drums in an awesome way....you gotta admit that his drumming is awesome in and justice for all and master of puppets
i like some of the songs after justice but i wish they would have incorporated more thrash metal rather then hard rock metal and death magnetic for the most part was prety kickass
@LeKerstman Firefox and ad blocker plus my friend, porn and youtube have never been better
in this album they had a lot of anger cause Cliff's death. it seems clearly!
yeah actually jason Newsted actually said in one interview that he was frustrated while making ...and Justice for all because he almost couldn't hear his bass in most tracks
the solo made me air guitar furiosly in front of all my class mates during literature class, shouldnt´ve typed metallica in youtube while the teacher was giving class ._.
@baltihouseable Ok, i may have embezzled the truth a bit, but I also hear it was YOU who turned Newsted's amp down during recording...what do you have to say to THAT???
