Like I mentioned in the beginning of the video, this effect is from "The Royal Road to Card Magic" (1948) by Jean Hugard and Frederick Braue. Funnily enough, this one's a variation of a variation. This one is a variation of the simplified version of the effect that "The Daily Magician" uploaded on their RUclips channel. The original one had Undercuts, Injogs and all of that stuff, their version removed a number of those things. You can watch and learn their version here: ruclips.net/video/KxTbrUlANWw/видео.html For my handling, I just decided to do everything face-down, mainly because it's pretty rare for me personally to deal things face-up. I tend to deal cards face-down and then turn them face-up. It's just a small nitpick that I have with my own stuff, and it also hides the "work" to some degree. And then the second change was doing the "stop" process at the end with a Spread, mainly because I was tired of seeing "Stop Tricks" done with deals. Also, if you still don't have "The Royal Road to Card Magic", you can get it here: • Physical book: www.penguinmagic.com/p/573 • eBook: www.vanishingincmagic.com/rare-magic-ebooks/the-royal-road-to-card-magic/ • Downloads by R.
