Im going with the Corsair Mini (already use the software). Going to add pudding keycaps, and attempt to foam the inside to reduce hollowness. I cant get over how nice the casing is on the corsair it looks too good.

Same, one of the factors I considered; the software; i already use it as well. and TBH for my use-case, the corsair one is a better choice.
On a purely keyboard standpoint, Corsair K65 is really not a bad keyboard; i guess the main irk is it could have done more, instead of being just a 'meh'

After buying the Huntsman Mini (before watching this but whatever), I noticed that Razer has a bad habit of using wacky stabilisers. As much better as the Huntsman Mini stabs are compared to the ones on the Blackwidow, my previous keyboard, they're still rlly weird lmao. I do kinda wish they used normal ones.

I wouldn't say one is better than the other, however generally Razer keyboards are overpriced for no reason. Razer is a shit company with a lot quality issues. I was choosing between the both and went with the Corsair. Way better quality of products. Ive had a couple Razer stuff, including mice and keyboards and always had some issues with their switches, crappy quality plasitc parts etc.
Also this guy is talking bollocks when it comes to the "cheap plastic feeling" on the k65. The housing is made of solid, thick and very stable plastic. Nothing bends and everything fits together perfectly. Ive tried some Steel series mini keyboard that costed 200e and the quality of plastic housing there was horrible (the keyboard bended when i twisted it!).
Besides the white plate under the keys is made out of very rigid metal.
My suggestion is- never buy products basing on yt sponsored videos, try yourself or read forums.

I have no clue what he’s talking about, the Corsair is way better than the Razer. I wouldn’t own either since I use a custom built Alpine65, but I have tried both at a store and the Corsair was surprisingly better than I expected. Not great, but better than Razer. Here is a list of reasons.
    1. High profile keyboard case sounds and looks nicer
    2. I actually think they made a good choice using a plastic case. It saves money and leads to a better sound. An affordable keyboard like these two would not take advantage of an aluminum case as they would definitely not include any dampening foam. This leads to case ping and exaggerates any rattle caused by switches and stabs. This makes the Razer keyboard very pingy and unpleasant in my opinion.
    3. While I don’t really like cherry switches( I prefer Kailh or gateron) and wish Corsair offered more options, I still prefer them over the Razer switches. The Razer switches are terrible in terms of sound and for typing, and I would still take a normal switch for gaming too. Additionally, the durability of them isn’t really a selling point for me. I have used many keyboards, both prebuilts and customs with a variety of switches, and switches degrading or breaking has never been an issue.
    4. STABILIZERS!!! The stabs on the Corsair don’t sound bad in person(they are no hand lubed screw-in Durock or Zeal, but this keyboard probably isn’t meant for people that know what that is anyway). The Razer ones rattle a lot, and the aluminum case only makes it worse.
    5.Hotswap
Overall, I think Corsair has a long way to go, but they are heading in the right direction. This K65 sounds and feels much better than my old k70. I would love to see an aluminum case with case foam, but if you are determined on getting a “gaming” keyboard the Corsair k65 is much better than the Razer!

If your paying the crazy price for a gamer board just get a custom.

Honestly, I would get a Durgod Venus with gateron yellows for $110 over both of these. It's got an aluminum case with foam dampening inside the board, as well as some of the best stabilizers on a prebuilt keyboard with some pretty nice cherry profile keycaps too. Much better value than the two boards shown in this comparison.
