    "With Jo it's a sort of extraordinary process because she doesn't realize that's how it should work. So, you give Jo notes and then a week later you'll get a script. And I'll be like, whoa! Jo's just delivered a script-- after a week. And what she'll do is she'll kind of riff off notes and she'll create a whole new series of things within that screenplay, which take us off in all sorts of different tangents. So, she's like a sort of volcano of ideas. And the process was really paring down, tuning, finding ultimately the form that would best become a movie. And she's a really quick learner so, pretty much after several months of that process she kind of got the form really, really quickly. And realized that it was about paring down and simplifying, rather than adding absolute new sequences and new ideas all the time. And there were things that were created in this process that will be used next time for the next movie or maybe the movie beyond that." - CinemaBlend (How J.K. Rowling Ended Up Working On Fantastic Beasts 2 While Writing The First Movie)

    hold in your mind in the HP universe all good people are ESTJ (Hermione...), all the bad people are ESTJ...
    That's the situation for INFPs, the social question in their mind at all times is 'Is this a good ESTJ? or a bad ESTJ?'
    They ...have the good sense to think 4/5 are baaad haha. :)

    • @45Seconds2Mars
      @45Seconds2Mars 6 лет назад +1

      I'm not so sure Hermione is ESTJ as some have typed her. She comes across bossy and domineering as an ESTJ might. She does have this thing about not wanting to break school rules. JK Rowling has said Hermione is an exaggerated version of her younger self. I consider myself an INFJ 1w2 tritype 125 and I see many similiarities with myself and Hermione. Her knowledge seeking in the library is type 5 traits. How many ESTJs are found spending a lot of time in the library and reading? ESTJ may be a 1, 3, 8 etc but 5 tends to be more introverted. Type 1 is about being good and not corrupt. She has an ideal of being the perfect student and excelling in school. She may think some rules are stupid but early in the film she sticks to perfectionistic tendencies of sticking to rules. If using Fe, she may not want to displease her teachers. Her perfectionism loosens up a bit hanging with the boys. 1 tends to see errors, room of improvement, and wanting to correct. She seems to have a 2 as she is often helping people. The whole spell correction scene is very 125. JK just took it to an exaggerated expression of persnickety, elite know it all for character entertainment and complexity. I wouldnt have been so snobby about it and used more gentle Fe. But Hermione has that feistiness of a type 1 that I can relate to. Type 1 INFJs have this perfect idealized vision with their Ni and they can be tenacious holding on to it. That vision is their babies. Hermione may have been bossy (1 perfection) but she was often trying to help others which seems Fe oriented. I'm certain she is 125 tritype but still open to her MBTI type. An ESTJ would probably have 3 than 2 in their tritype. 125 Mentor can give some tough love some times as they dont tend to enable others.

    It seems that a difficult early life can manifest in intensive attention to (or pressure on) one's 8th function, such that the 8th function _appears_ to be dominant. If that is the case, perhaps she is an ISFJ, with Ni in the 8th slot.
    Could the SJW/political bent be more about unhealed Si (or an Si-Ti 1st and 3rd function loop) than about Fi dominance or convictions?
    When she talks about how the reader can always return to the world of Harry Potter and feel "at home," I can't help but imagine that she, too, has used it for this purpose, since the _reality_ of her early "home life" did not offer the comfort and refuge an ISFJ needs.

    You wrote a book? Awesome!! I’m going to research it now. It took me a minute to realize it’s probably not about marshal arts (duh) and is about your work experiences. Sometimes what’s OBVIOUS to others goes right over my head. PLEASE tell me if that’s inferior Se, (or what it is) because it would help me understand why many times I don’t “see” what’s obvious to others.

There are so much characters , an entire univers, a lore etc... witch is also very INFP-ish. Conclusion : J.K. Rowling didn't wrote Harry Potter ! ...... ( Just Kidding...!)

      godslave666999 Well, I certainly don’t see people (including myself, of course) as clearly good or clearly bad, so I can’t imagine writing fictional characters as clearly one or the other. I’m curious, though, could you point me toward some examples of INFP writing where this seems to be the case?
      Your comment reminded me of the following quote: “Never see people as good or bad, but think always of all men and women as totally selfish, greedy, vicious, stupid, innocent, and blameless.” ~Anthony de Mello

      @@wonderment6032 It was a bit of a joke obviously, i wasn't talking about all INFPs authors although it certainly sounds like i did.. (my bad). Now, the dichotomy Bad vs evil is an universal theme in literature be it heroic, fantastic, mythological, romantic etc... This is not INFP specific of course. The "clearly good/bad" (in Harry Potter !) is more a kind of "PEGI 8" joke or something like that, i didn't mean in literally.... I've appreciated the quote, it's so true, thank you !

    • @wonderment6032
      @wonderment6032 6 лет назад +1

      godslave666999 Yes, of course. My bad, too, as I was only speaking of character-building in one context. In another sense...viewing a story, movie, or dream as a _whole,_ even if characters _are_ portrayed in the extremes of good and evil, I tend to still view each of them as if they are aspects of my own psyche, at least in potentia. I view them not so I can say, “Thank goodness I’m not like that bad guy!” or “Thank goodness I’m just like that good guy!” but, with a bit of humility, “Woah... _that_ is within me!” in either case.

    • @godslave666999
      @godslave666999 6 лет назад +1

      @@wonderment6032 ""“Woah... that is within me!” " Exactly ! I think this is a good interpretation of what Ne is from an Fi perspective. The "in me" part could be an "in us" as well cause we are all human beings after all. The creation emanating from within its creator mind could be sometimes scary. Think of Bram Stoker 's Dracula or Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, i think maybe the more "human" the creation is, the more "scary" it could be from its author perspective, as if it came from the shadow (Jung) of his soul, all that he refuses to be but can project thru his creation. I think there is a kind dilemma, it demands a high level of detachment and empathy at the same time.

    03:33 - I don't think she looks like an INFJ either - she doesn't have those 'distant but warm' Ni/Fe eyes. I have always considered her a rather unhealthy INFP. Here in the UK she's known for being very SJW/PC and is a huge Remainer - her political views are more or less all she goes on about on Twitter. She sticks to her illogical views and rams them down everyone's throats on there which all seems very Fi with no idea of Fe - that it might not be polite or appropriate to go on in this manner without any thought of whether others are getting sick of being preached at by one of the globalist elite. Anyway if she's not INFP she sure as hell isn't INFJ.
