Same. The first time I saw them live I realised half way through All These Things... that I was crying. It was just THAT GOOD. I know it sounds ridiculous but that was honestly one of the best days I’ve ever had, for various reasons. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier. Now I’m crying at this, it’s just too beautiful. I had tickets to see them this coming Friday in London. When they’re finally able to perform the rescheduled gig it’ll feel like a celebration, but also tinged with sadness at what has happened this year. Music heals the soul.
Emily Maiden basically the same. I saw them in Paris in 2007 and honestly it was like me and Brandon were singing to each other. It felt so intimate and amazing. I was 19 at the time. That Sams town album and that concert was just so unbelievable. Everything about that whole weekend was just incredible and it was all because of the killers.
I couldn't have loved this any more, it's the most relaxed and honest I've ever seen them. I also love the transition from Runaways to read my mind where he repeats "I can't wait, 'till tomorrow" then the synth kicks in, it sends shivers down my spine. Loving the new music as well, Fire in Bone is so funky!
Kieran Routledge YES! This was all them-just doing what they wanted to do. I have always loved this band because they remember what it is like to be a fan, and they are SO awesome to give us this. And I do hope they do it again (with a few more sneaky tracks!)
When I saw them a few years ago they did that transition and it literally felt like something magical had happened. Read my mind is my all time favorite song and that put an emphasis on it for me. Absolutely amazing.
Both of you soooooooo down to earth ..look the way they speak to public..the words they put,the reactions they reacted was so real & honest..much respect to you all..the story telling is awesome!!all the best the killers!!!
Liked the Killers back during Hot Fuss and Sam, but drifted away over time. Stumbled upon Be Still years later, and it brought me right back in. Thanks Brandon and Ronnie for doing this! Love to hear your hearts and your music too.
Hi from France guys ! That s a real pleasure to have you live, so naturally cool in these complicated days... Thank you so much for sharing your talent. Hope you will make another try working with Brian Eno 😉 despite your crazy dream, Brandon 👊🏻 Keep up the great work, guys, you ease the burden more than you think🙏🏻✨ Stay safe and hopefully see you in France when times are better...
TheTalker ! I’m the opposite. Caution bores me to tears (too familiar to every other mid-tempo rock track they’ve ever done), while I love Fire in Bone. Weird and funky and I always hear something new every listen. Day & Age is my favorite TK album and I’ve been hoping for something akin to that again.
@@chrsch5309 Ahah, i understand, honestly i enjoyed Hot Fuss and Sam's Town (my favourite) more, but Day & Age even if different was definitely legit. I liked less the last 2 albums but i love The Killers just too much.
Mark definitely played on Caution, just listen to the bass. I don't think Dave had any involvement. As with the last tour I don't think Mark is going to do the whole tour, just certain dates here and there.
Over the last decade and a half I have been a very big killers fan. To this day I still listen to them everyday. I am personally very excited for this new album but a part of me worries that it might not live up to the expectations. With Wonderful Wonderful I thought that was a decent album and it marked the return of the killers after a 5 year wait. Although in my opinion I think that the album was missing an item which was Dave's writing skills or his contribution. Dave only contributed to a few songs on Wonderful Wonderful. I feel like it could've been much stronger if he helped the band write more. Dave has been taking a break from touring since 2017 and since then has released his own solo album which I thought was a decent album with parts of it being what Wonderful Wonderful was missing. For Imploding the Mirage Brandon said Dave hadn't recorded or wrote anything with the band for the album and that slightly worries me. I think Caution is a good song and brings back an older style of the killers with the synths and lyrics. I just don't know if the album will feel the same as the previous ones since Dave's departure. I feel The Killers are kinda fading away from the Indie/Alternative Rock band we know into a more pop music style of band and I don't think it feels the same or hits home the same way without Dave. Im not against Ronnie's, Brandon's and Mark's writing skills but I think the band has created much stronger songs as a four piece rather than just two or three of the members. Despite all of this I' m still hoping Imploding the Mirage is gonna be good despite their only being 75% percent of the band involved.
What did you think of Dying Breed and the small snippet of My Own Souls Warning in this video? I was pretty disappointed with Wonderful Wonderful as well but I think both songs sound pretty amazing. You should also check out Blowback if you haven't already done so. I think the album is shaping up to be a pretty dang good one.
@@emilyhutchens3682 Honestly when listening to Dying Breed and My Own Souls Warning I kinda got a Sams Town/Battle Born vibe from how the lyrics and melody are done. I also checked out blowback and that song felt like a classic from the Killers. Honestly I agree with you in saying this album is looking to be a really good one and I really hope it is as I feel like they haven't had an amazing album since Day and Age or Battle Born at a push. I do still think its a shame that Dave hasn't returned but I do love seeing Ronnie and Brandon performing some of these new tracks and it's honestly nice to see Ronnie is having a big impact on writing on this album as usually you wouldn't see many drummers have a huge impact on writing songs.
@Ryan Stewart I get that and you're absolutely right that nothing The Killers will do in the future will be able to overtake Sam's Town or Hot Fuss but I think it's such a shame Sam's Town wasn't as popular as it should've been. In my opinion I think it is one of the most underrated albums from the 2000's and some of their best songs are from it (including my own favourite "This River is Wild"). I do find it interesting to think about what the band might have been if Sam's Town was more accepted by a lot of people and critics. Sure it was a great album and one many people enjoyed but looking at many interviews and reviews from back in 2006/07 the album was very much over shadowed by a lot of peoples expectations and it didn't live up to the hype of some people who were expecting like a Hot Fuss Pt Two. I feel like if people had accepted it more and just embraced the greatness every song in the album had from Sam's Town to Where the White Boys Dance The Killers would have been regarded as one of the most legendary bands out there. Still I think they are one of the best rock bands and will always have a place in my heart but it pains me to see that all the members aren't playing together and the songs we are getting nowadays aren't half as good as what we would see in the Sam's Town / Day and Age era.
@Ryan Stewart Hmmmm I don't know about that. I'll say it's highly unlikely but I won't go 0% especially after hearing some of their songs on the new album. Honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of songs I've heard so far from the new album (with the exception of FIre and Bone). Personally, I think Caution and Dying Breed are really good songs and My Own Souls Warning has potential to be an amazing track.
@Ryan Stewart Why do you say that? Are you saying the first two albums of every band in history were their best? Obviously, that logic is ridiculous. If they were to come along and make something better, it sounds like you're incapable of being objective. I know some Killers fans think Day and Age and Battleborn are the best albums. I think you should rephrase and not speak for all Killer fans. It sounds like YOU will not allow another album to be better than Sams Town and Hot Fuss. I will try be objective on the other hand.
Brian Roiger Dave chose not to participate in the new album. Not sure who plays guitar on all the tracks on the new album, but Lindsey Buckingham is on the recorded version of Caution. Ronnie is just filling in during live performances.
One of the things I love about these guys is the way they treat their fans with such consideration and respect. Classy guys.
This River Is Wild is VASTLY underrated. A gem I'd pay money to hear live!!
Yo I agree one of their best!
Best voice in the business.
Hes crazy live, my favorite concert by far. Flowers is the best!
He's great, but calling him the best voice in all of music is ridiculous.

Silver lining: I am loving all these (and others’) relaxed, down-to-earth, no publicist/make up artist interviews.
@@sedders Absolutely. I think I liked this one in particular though because it was their own stream with fans asking good questions, not an interview
