For context, my son died one year ago. The miscarriage story annoys me, particularly MM's strange choice of words. "Losing a child means carrying an unbearable grief. Experienced by many, but talked about by few." Does she mean that miscarriages are common but not discussed? Okay. Thankfully, actual child loss is not quite so common, and is very, very different, though I've had plenty of women tell me they know how I feel because they've miscarried. I'm in the unfortunate position of being able to compare the two experiences, so that quote really, really angers me. But if we were to believe that MM had this miscarriage and had suffered unbearable grief, how did she not understand that hopping on a plane to Uvalde to get a photo op was one of the worst, grossest things you can do to a community in grief?

I just wanted to let you know I agree with you. I was a childbirth educator and doula and they are two very different experiences. Having loved held, and cared for a child is GRIEF like no other. I have four children.
Miscarriage is an unfortunate biological and sad event filled with disappointment and self blame. Some women blame themselves and unfortunately sometimes their families reinforce the narrative. But it is not caused by Stress. World population would have ceased to exist if Stress was the reason. ESPECIALLY not a Court case when women are literally having healthy babies in war zones!

I completely agree with you as well. I have fortunately not lost a child after birth, but have had 3 miscarriages, and whenever I hear someone equate the two I think that the pain I experienced over the miscarriages would be nothing in comparison to the complete devastation that would come from losing one of my living children (forgive me for putting it so crassly… I don’t have a better way of differentiating the two). I’m so, so sorry for your loss. ❤
Also, I don’t believe that Meghan was actually pregnant with either of her children, and if she co-opted the experience of miscarriage for publicity she is truly a sick individual.

I’m white but I have no problem going into a local store to buy a black baby doll for my best friends granddaughter. They are right there sitting on the shelves. Lots of different options too.
Things have changed from the day when I had to special order a dark haired baby doll for my little sister. I’m blonde, she has dark hair. All the baby dolls were blonde. I wanted her to have one that looked like her. Today I would have a choice of hair color and skin color baby dolls.

    • @StaubZuStaub
      @StaubZuStaub Год назад +11

@@allyfrasier6306 The miscarriage was an unspecified day in July 2020 and Lilibet's birth was on the 4th June 2021.
We don't have a date in July, but that leaves approx. 11 months between these events. Pregnancy is roughly 40 weeks, so around 10 months.
If we give her the 1st July there was almost exactly a month before she became pregnant again, which isn't impossible as it takes 2 to 4 weeks to become fertile again after miscarrying and Lilibet could have been born a few weeks early but as the pair love to play victim we definitely would have heard about a "severely premature" Lilibet if the birth was anything more than 3 weeks early.
A few more things to add (to my potential conspiracy theory 😄) is that if this were in early July there definitely would have been a comparison between America's 4th July celebrations and the pair's devastation. So, imo if this happened it was mid to late July and Lilibet was born from a surrogate.
But I really don't think there was a miscarriage, as awful as it sounds, there are different versions and the one that was written and edited by Meghan doesn't even mention Archie's well being even though she said she fell to the ground with him in her arms, we get a verbal edit to this in the Netflix documentary when a friend says she was there on the day and caught Archie before he fell with his mother.
On the face of it with no twisting of words or following the timeline, the story is suspicious; you just need to read her opinion piece and then watch the Netflix episode where they discuss the miscarriage and you'll see it for yourself.

Those people with their own agendas jumped on that series showed no respect for what the Queen has done in her reign including her work during apartheid, which is why the great Nelson Mandela was a friend of hers. Sophie duchess of Edinburgh was rushed to hospital with an ectopic pregnancy, life threatening so was reported but she has never made a thing of it, might influence some charities she supports.
Zara ( Princess Anne's daughter ) has had at least one if not two miscarriages, came up as she waited a long time before she announced she was pregnant with 2nd & 3rd child, did not want to tell people until she was fairly sure that she would not lose the baby. It was a big interview she did on work and family, home life and training her horses, so it came up in the general conversation no one knew about miscarriages until several years after.
I lost my second baby, at 12 weeks, I was bleeding on and off for nearly a week, ( no hospital did nothing until I lost it )my mother was it's for the best, no hug nothing, husband useless, I took years to get over it. Just over a year later I had my daughter, I had a scare at about 10 weeks because I spotted, the whole pregnancy was stressful not until I held my daughter did I relax and believe I had a real live baby. Even well over 30 years later I still think of that loss, it was my daughter who when she was about 20 who listened and gave me the hug I needed all those years ago, I think that's when I began to heal.
Harry's big problem was when the Queen started doing photos with Charles William and George, Christmas message with her father, son, grandson and great grandson on her desk. Either she knew she had cancer or recognised she was old, she was aware she was the longest serving monarch most of us knew no other monarch and she was showing these are the people who will follow me, she was preparing the country for her death.
It was not a case of Harry is unimportant to me, it was pointing out how Royalty would be without her. Harry as usual to dim to understand.

I was told that "the product of the spontaneous abortion" absolutely had to be sent off to pathology and after whatever tests were done "the product of the spontaneous abortion" had to be destroyed by the hospital. If I'm remembering correctly my baby wasnt even considered a baby because of the age of the fetus. This had always bothered me but at the time, I didn't know much if anything about medicine or how situations like this are handled. I was allowed to see " the product of the spontaneous abortion" in a specimen container. The amniotic sac was intact and I also asked if they could break the sack so I could see my baby and was denied that as well. This was over 30 yrs ago and perhaps things are handled differently today but I still don't think anyone would be allowed to leave with their baby in a package. Heck I had to have a gold capped tooth extracted and wanted to keep the tooth because of the gold and the hygienist about had a heart attack when I went to pick up the tooth with a tissue telling me it was a biohazard and against the law to let me take my tooth. He did however take it into another room and somehow remove the gold from the actual tooth and gave me the gold cap. That story has more holes than a sieve.

And let's be clear: Stress does not cause miscarriages. It's a proven fact and sad. But it is not caused by a Court case that doesn't go your way.
You have heard of mother's giving birth in rice fields and worse ALL over the world. The human population continues to grow.
A miscarriage is an unfortunate, sad, disappointing biological event. And no shame should ever be put on the mother.
Which unfortunately, happens. Women somehow blame themselves and their families sometimes don't help that narrative.

A close friend of mine had six miscarriages between her two children, and a stillbirth, and I didn’t find out about ANY of it until she had her second child and finally felt ok talking about it. I can’t understand why so many celebrities think it’s a badge of honour to talk about this. It’s a common occurrence, but NOT a pleasant one. Most women are not comfortable talking about it with the whole world because of how hard it is to deal with. (I have some serious doubts Meghan has any idea what a birth is like, let alone a miscarriage, but that’s just my opinion.)

Merching a miscarriage is unforgivable. I am sharing this for every women who suffered the devastating loss of a miscarriage . Miscarriage means something has gone wrong and that is devastating . But, Imagine carrying that baby to term and finding out without any prenatal warning that he has profound physical and mental developmental difficulties and blindness. Imagine caring for him for twenty six years, witnessing his pain and his very difficult life where he could control absolutely nothing and relied on you totally to care, love and protection. Where even the simplest things, such as getting him dental treatment was so, so hard. Everything was hard . Then after twenty six years watch him suffer for ten horrible weeks through operations and treatments before finally passing away. I will never recover from the pain of his difficult life as well as his difficult passing. Our lives were completely changed the day he was born and It was harder than you can ever imagine. I am in floods of tears telling you about it, but I hope you can take some comfort that devastating as miscarriage is, sometimes nature knows best. He tried to miscarry at ten weeks but they put me on bed rest and saved him. If that woman is lying about this and writing flowery accounts of what she thinks it’s like to lose a child well, I have no words for the evil of doing that.

With regard to the Remembrance Day wreath-laying, except for the Queen (because she is the Monarch/Head of State), royal family members do not lay wreaths for themselves. They merely act as REPRESENTATIVES of various branches of the military and they lay the wreath on their behalf. As Harry was no longer part of the working Royals nor of the military at the time, why should the Royal Family lay a wreath in his behalf? Who the hell is he?! The only time anyone ever laid a wreath for an actual "person" was when then-Prince Charles laid a wreath in behalf of the Queen who was too ill to attend. Did Harry think he was equal to the Monarch that someone should lay a wreath in his behalf???

It does cause others unnecessary pain, but she is only thinking about trying to get everyone to feel sorry for her, which she saw working so beautifully for Diana.

The miscarriage is difficult. My daughter had a miscarriage of her first pregnancy and the tragic loss of our sweet granddaughter who only lived a short time because she was born whole and complete but just too soon. The photos we have are a tangible reminder that our sweet girl was here and will always be part of our family. I get the need to speak of it and share to make it real. I think Meaghan writes emotions in such an odd way that it always feels like she has a gap between real and how she imagines it should feel. I’m sorry for her and for any woman who loses a child. She doesn’t have many close friends and no family so maybe faceless strangers are who she substitutes? I wish she would put her actions where her platitudes are. It makes it almost impossible to like her.

What i wish people would do which she hit the nail on the head with is notice the coincidence of when Chrissy Tiegan had her miscarriage and out her story on Twitter - how at this time is when everyone started turning on MeeMee. Then when MeeMee noticed how everyone started feeling empathy for Chrissy for losing her baby (she had made the pregnancy very public from the start) - MeeMee immediately got the idea in her head to copy a lot of Chrissy’s story from Twitter and wrote her 7th grade essay about her mythcarraige. The story was a blend of Chrissy Tiegan’s story and the plot line from the movie Steel Magnolias when Julia Robert’s character was holding her 1 year old when she collapsed (that movie was on tv that week - which is where she gets most of her tragic storylines from!). MeeMee thought people would feel sorry for her and finally see her as the victim she always wanted to be because it worked for Chrissy!

She also needed to come up with an alibi because the British court gave her a nine-month "pregnancy" break in her case against the Mail On Sunday. Obviously, the judge would be expecting a baby by the end of this break. Since she only used a pregnancy as an excuse to get her case in order behind the scenes and she wasn't really pregnant, she needed to fake a miscarriage so she can tell the judge, "Ooops, I lost the baby." 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂ She's disgusting.

He actually had to have enormous help to even barely graduate. To add insult to injury he didn’t belong in the Army especially as an officer in a war zone, endangering men’s lives to protect his butt. He absolutely has no business commenting on American politics, not just because it’s not his country but he barely has any knowledge of his own country’s history not alone the USA’s. His comment on our first amendment was ignorant and inflammatory. This guy really needs someone to put him in his place. I resent that he is in our country and he’s going on TV promoting the use of illegal drugs as healing to American youth, some of which can be very dangerous. Mostly I am angry that the Royals didn’t reign him in and allowed this idiot to be in my country spouting his wife’s stupid word salads. After my miscarriage my NM and MIL were cruel. It was my Great Aunt sharing my Grandmother's stillbirth that snapped me out. I recall my Dr. saying kind and reassuring words.
At that time I was friends with a gal who suffered a stillbirth. No known cause. Had to carry knowing. Be induced and deliver.
That is horror. That is beyond my scope of loss. Smegma just caught wind of something and ran with it. Like 30 yrs too late.

How does Meghan, a feminist advocate of abortion feel unbearable grief when a fetus dies? I really want to know. Is it just because she “chose” to value the life within her and if she “chose” not to, it wouldn’t have mattered? Suddenly she lost a “child”, she writes, no longer a miscarriage of a fetus. I don’t honestly think you can have it both ways without being schizophrenic? Can you? That would have been a taboo reflection I would have been interested in reading from a “global” feminist.

Remembrance Sunday UK: The Royal Family lay wreaths ON BEHALF ON THE NATION for various branches of the Service or other organisations. The Royal Family DO NO lay them on behalf of themselves, with their name on the wreath. What Harry wanted was impossible, he needed to be there in person, to lay a wreath on behalf of the Nation. Miscarriage, having suffered one myself at 16 weeks, after many years of infertility investigations & treatments the most poignant FACT is ''how far gone'' the pregnancy was, does it matter ? yes it does, since cause points to solution. So for the Harkles particularly at Meghan's age, it was important, also would have been a pathology, but obviously whatever the cause, she was soon pregnant again. (I did have one successful pregnancy :) at 37)

Even though the whining isn’t helping anything, people with narcissistic traits love to do this, whining and complaining about social issues is virtue signaling. As a psych nurse I consider the whole attitude nobody but nobody has ever suffered like meeee (sorry i can’t find a better way to explain it - if you know a word to describe that leave me a comment 😂) a hallmark of narcissism. I have narcissistic relatives who do this and I remind them that I worked with holocaust survivors when I was young. Many of them were children when they went into the camps. The only reason I knew is because of their tattoos. They NEVER complained. Ever. The most grateful and gracious lovely people who went on to succeed in life. Dumb and Dumber need perspective. There are worse things to experience than mean words on the internet and it’s amazing the lack of insight of the narcissist. They truly think people are mean because they’re just evil or more likely jealous instead of as a reaction to the constant lying and complaining.

Harry's "no black dolls in toy shops" comment was such a 'facepalm' moment for me. Aside from there being very few dedicated toy shops in the UK anyway, when has Harry ever been in one, let alone conducted a nationwide survey into the ratio of black/white dolls available in these non-existent shops? The limit of his experience is the toy department at Harrods.
Harry's expectations of the human brain are excessive. We do not have the cognitive ability to monitor absolutely everything that is of concern to absolutely everybody at all times - our brains are far too busy checking our own environment and getting us through our own day. If I go into a supermarket for bread and milk, that - along with whatever random chatter is occupying my mind - is where my focus will be. If I don't notice whether there are adequate stocks of pasta, oregano and bolognese sauce, it doesn't mean that I have an unconcious bias about Italians and their cuisine. For the normal man or woman who is not conducting market research, there simply isn't the time to check the shelves to ensure that shops meet the needs of every diverse community in the area.
I also thought that, when making this 'black dolls' comment, Harry showed his own unconcious bias. The UK (like the US) is a very diverse country, so where was his concern for the children from these many ethnicities? Was he concerned that there aren't enough toys that reflect the heritages of, say, Indian, Pakistani or Chinese children? Obviously not - while lecturing us on unconscious bias, Harry himself appears to be rather tunnel visioned.

Cheere, the British owned African slaves... they just owned them in their overseas territories. They owned huge plantations in the Caribbean for one and the profits were sent back home. They engaged in and profited from the slave trade as well. That said, it's absurd to blame people alive today for the sins of those who lived centuries ago.

We did, it was taken for granted that the British landed gentry would own plantations in the Caribbean (cf Mansfield Park by Jane Austen). My late mother (born 1922 ) had a black doll in the late 1920s. Her family were all white incidentally, and there was no agenda- she, or some member of the family just thought she'd like the doll. (Which she did.) It would have been bought in an ordinary toy shop in a place where, in those days, there would have been almost no black people.

Amazing that she got pregnant so quicky and so often, especially after the supposed miscarriage. Bearing in mind, she subjects us to every single detail of her life, how come we heard so little about her pregnancies & births? Surely we would have heard about morning sickness, cravings, stretch marks, hemorrhoids, etc. If these children do exists, I could believe they are Harry's but born with donor eggs/surrogate.
