I've been watching your shows way back when you were hosting Trucks! I'm always impressed by the level of knowledge and information on car and truck builds. Keep the knowledge rolling out. and thank you for your hard work dedication and expertise in every episode.
***Stacy yours is by far the best automotive shows for me and I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the videos and cool projects you have done over the years! You Da Man!***👍
Sometime, late 80s I started seeing and watching Stacys shows, before Trucks,he had another short lived show on cmt,or,some cable chañnel that is now defunct before he went to TRUCKS,and before he went to several other shows centered around custom vehicles... He always has good knowledge, and shares a lot of it,but he is a show host pimp, and always has been while trying to elevate his shows, and he is good at what he does... He knows what he speaks of and is a master mechanic no matter what brand .. He knows his doodoo..😂
Hey Stacy! Your garage is fantastic, and the things you've got in it even more so! Give me a kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom upstairs and I'd call it home! Pertaining to the Purple Bicycle section of the show, I'd painted, built and customized stingray style bikes since the 60s. My former father-in-law even had a cottage business going making chrome plated front fork extension tubes which I would couple with a 6 foot chicken bar, modify the banana seat mount and make some pretty decent looking human powered 'choppers'. As a young teen in Houston, all of us kids put together a weekend long poker game when our parents all magically left town at the same time. I won a Schwinn Orange Crate with a hand that dealt me the only natural royal flush I've ever gotten. Those Crate series bikes were pretty phenomenal! Loved the springer front ends! That reminded me of the years doing the custom bike builds and what led to the current and ongoing bicycle customs culture I've been watching in places like California over the years. Maybe the kid in you will hatch a show idea about bicycles and their evolution, plus their intrinsic attachment to becoming a bona fide motorcycle and/or cars gearhead. It is all related as it turns out! Peace, bro!
Great show my friend but this jeep does not have only 8000 miles on it somebody cared about it and it’s in good shape but that definitely has 108,000 miles. I’m actually quite surprised that you haven’t figured that out yet unless I missed the part where you said OK, maybe it doesn’t have 8000 original miles Looking underneath tells you everything you need to know that in the obvious repaint…….
@@deutschland6022 it sure does ! Now don’t get me wrong I got respect for Stacey and the impact he has had on the industry but this jeep does not have 8000 original miles any experienced automotive technician or person that does this kind of work can see that I’m pretty surprised that he didn’t? It is in amazing condition but there’s glaring signs that it is just a well cared for hundred thousand mile rare jeep.
I don’t disagree with your upgrades, and thank you for not cutting it up, but why would you put the stock parts in a swap meet pile? That’s an 8k mile survivor. Someone might want to bring that back to stock one day and those parts can all be reconditioned.
Lot of worn out parts and rust for an 8000 mile Jeep. You're sure the speedometer cable didn't break at 8,000 miles and the owner drove it another 80,000 after that? I have a really hard time buying the 8,400 mile story on this one. You also mentioned it's been repainted. Why would such a low mile Jeep need a repaint?

I appreciate that!

What makes an outstanding mechanic is making everything look easy like you
Good series. What a wonderful old Jeep.
Great video! Can't wait to see some different wheels on the Jeepster!

I questioned the lift but that looks just right . Great project .
Thanks 👍
That's a much better look for that Jeepster. I makes a good union with old school body styles joined by new tech.
Thanks for not cutting that one up. Too many car people want to hack up nice survivors. 👍👍
Hey Stacy iv been watching you sense the beginning! You're still by far the best out there keep up the great work!!!!!!
Thank you! Will do!
This great! I'm doing a commando frame off and the part needed are ones you using. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
I love a level 1 restoration!, but man, I spotted Catalog Camaro in there. I'd love to see that one finished! 😄
I will get back to it!
@@OfficialStaceyDavid 😃
Brings me back I love it
Super video.
Glad you kept the oddfire V6, nothing sounds quite like it.
👍
Great video thanks Stacey! Does anybody have a suggestion on a good pair of crimping pliers for the Painless or American Autowire rewire kits?
Stacey could you put a CB radio in the jeepster? And do a session on CB radio basics??
Breaker 1-9, I might do that!

I agree the underneath tells you it has way more than 8000 miles.

I do like Stacy David. Especially compared to all the other automotive shows out there.
I sometimes put a baseball card with a clothes pin on the front wheel of my Heritage Harley....Good for laughs.
we had 2 jeepsters to plow snow with very rusty fer pa
Could you do a video on how to rewire a first gen dodge with cummins to do away with the inline fuses.
What's up with the old coupe
You'll see very soon!

please keep the original wheels and go with factory spinners (correct for that deluxe setup)
Hi Stacey do you have any plans to have a tool line branded in your name? I would be interested in that. Has to be somewhat affordable of course 😎
I am happy when people do not chop up survivor vehicles they deserve to live and continue life. Now something clapped out go nuts.
Could anybody recommend automotive shows similar to this video. Thank you.

How to Engineer the PERFECT Differential Cover 🤠

If that is a Weber 32/36, they suck. Too small for a V6,, its a progressive 2 barrel
