“Voters Are SICK AND TIRED Of Open Border Policies”

- Recently, elections were held across Europe, and the results show changes in support for different political parties.
Far-right and nationalist parties gained support, but centre-right parties also did well and remain the largest group.
The European People's Party (EPP), a centre-right group, won the most seats in the European Parliament elections and are expected to have around 184 of the 720 seats, which is about a quarter of the total.
Far-right parties made significant progress in the elections. In France, the National Rally secured nearly a third of the votes, becoming the leading far-right group.
In Italy, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy party gained more than a quarter of the votes.
The European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) and Identity and Democracy (ID) groups will hold 131 seats. Additional far-right seats include 15 from Germany's AfD, 10 from Hungary's Fidesz, 6 from Poland's Confederation, and 3 from Bulgaria's Revival party.

Ok, serious question, I keep seeing comments urging people to vote reform which in itself may not be a bad thing but if folk are only intending to vote for them because they think reform will stop illegal immigration I'm afraid they're in for a shock. So far not one person from the reform party has given any explanation as to How they propose to implement such a plan but the reality is that unless they're going to patrol the English channel with navy frigates and blow them out of the water they have the same chance of stopping them as the Tories or Labour.

I have a colleague in my office. He is in his late 40s and having never voted in his life, he is now talking seriously of voting for Reform in this election because even he, who is not really interested in politics, is sick and tired of the status quo. I wonder how many other people like him are going to do similar.

The UK is overpopulated, end of. Housing is in chronically short supply, public services and the NHS is on the brink of collapse, schools are at bursting point, the natural environment has been decimated, infrastructure is falling apart and we now have to import 60% of our food. 🙄
As well as certain areas of the uk e.g. North West ex mill towns are Islamic dumping grounds.

Right, but it would've done if Westminster and the remainer left wing media hadn't spent the last 8 years doing everything possible to make it unworkable. Almost everyone I know voted leave and they all did so in the belief that we would finally get a say on who was allowed into our country and have much stricter border controls, that narrow stretch of water was enough to dissuade the might of the German army but seemingly not enough to scupper hordes of disease ridden African scroungers?

I was a ‘remainer’ but I have changed my mind. If we can get control of migration and our borders, I think history will judge Brexit as a brilliant decision when continental Europe is overrun by migrants from the developing world.

Artificially increasing the population via mass migration ruins the environment and the economy (too many consumers chasing too few resources). After the Great Plague of the Middle Ages, which reduced the total population of Europe by a massive 1/3, living standards for the poor improved and workers were able to organize into trade unions for the first time ever! If the total population of Europe were comprised of only 1 million native Europeans, each European would enjoy an extremely high standard of living!
This country is not leaning to the left, it's just that we have a Conservative Party in name only and they're showing no strong commitment to any policy!

The majority of women enjoy compliments. The majority of people don´t care about PC/Wokery/DEI/or Trans madness. The Majority of people don´t want open borders. The majority of people love Britain. The majority of people want our Goverment to do what it should be doing.... abiding by the wishes of the MAJORITY. Instead, particularly Labour, cater only for minorities so much so most of them can´t even say what a women is! And Conservatives are the same. So we, the majority, will now vote to elect a party that represent US, the majority. VOTE REFORM.
Many of the people who voted not to leave the EU would be appalled at going through that again! I would be one of those. Also, I believe now I would have been initially wrong, I'm not impressed with the way business is done with the EU, we need to stay away now. We have enough home grown problems to deal with.

I would be thrilled to have someone say I looked nice when I dressed up to go out somewhere special. It was nice to be whistled at when I was out and about when I was younger. There are some stupid people around and it all started with the American political correctness.. I came to the conclusion that the people who decided on this were jealous because they were never noticed or whistled at because perhaps they were plain Jane's and could not be bothered about their appearance.

The left won in Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Portugal, Slovakia, even in Italy were Melloni just swapped the seats of Lega. The center held in Spain, Germany, the baltic states, Bulgaria and Greece. That is the large majority of the Europeans supporting the EU. You are just wishfully thinking and have no idea.
