The European elections, which ended on June 9, 2024, saw the political coalition of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen win the most seats. However, the poll results provided great electoral gains for far-right parties. Von der Leyen is seen as tough on Beijing and likely to push the European Union towards de-risking China if she is renewed as the head of the commission. In France, the successes of far-right candidates led President Emmanuel Macron to call for snap elections and a period of political uncertainty.

It's not always about China... Majority of the french people vote for Bardella, in the european elections, because they don't trust anymore Macron's government and the traditional left (Parti Socialiste) and right (les Républicains) parties., because they keep failing over and over again.
Furthermore, the other candidates were not popular as Jordan Bardella. Macron sent Valérie Hayer (nobody knew who she was), the left sent Glucksmann (Macron 2.0) and Aubry (she was not the most popular on her own party), the right sent Bellamy (nobody knew who he was) and Jordan Bardella is the president of his party.

In the short term cheap imports bring inflation down. However in the long run this weakens a countries own production capacity which causes deflation which is much more dangerous than inflation. (There's also a geopolitical risk with depending too much on another and China isn't known for being kind to those it has influence over)

The Western world doesn't want to depend on China for things for a few big reasons but it all eventually boils down to not wanting to financially bolster a Country who varies so much from the West on pretty much every issue from governance to human rights. China has been amping up it's military up at an alarming rate while disagreeing with the rest of the world on it's ocean borders and slowly encroaching Taiwan.

We have had to preserve the history by hiding it in different countries because wherever we would go, that community would start to lose their memories too. It was done by the Nazi’s. The locals thought they were doing honest, hard work but they were actually setting up explosives. The Scar of Africa is the man-made desert that stretches from West Africa all the way into China. They are all the same...only the branding is different. China is just too strong for them to be comfy with. China on the other hand has been toying with EVs since 2014. When I went to China back in 2016, EV vehicles were already trending. I was nearly hit by the silent EVs a few times because I mistakenly thought they were driving cars and motorcycles with combustible engines which produce noise. China had to switch to EV because of serious air pollution there where it needs to be cheap because the general public are not as rich. China is years ahead of everybody else because they live with EVs

@@Drownedinblood China is 91% Han Chinese, and the minorities live mostly in their own regions, where they are native, the Chinese culture, historiography, and world-outlook isn't based on ethnomasochism, as it is in Europe and America, for us as White people wanting to preserve ourselves in our own countries is not hatred

@@memberberry5898You have this right. Anti-immigration is not racism, but since we are at it, European Jews don't belong to the middle east and the Arab world. Please take them back.

We will see. 😂 No one is scared right now like China and USA after these elections. Europe is finally gonna look after it's OWN interests. You think Russia with 144 million people is tough. Wait till you see EU with 450 million people with right wing leaders. China? Lol. EU got bigger gold reserves than USA and China COMBINED. You are a third world place! 😂 Now you will have to deal with several Vladimir Putin's from the Brussels. Enjoy.
