The centre is still holding, that's what the European parliamentary elections have revealed, with the three centrist parties maintain parliamentary majority. However, a surge in support for far-right parties in France, Germany and Austria has been quite the talking point, which could see European Union Lawmaking becoming more complex. The outcome has already impacted domestic politics with French President Emmanuel Macron calling for snap elections.
