This is a smart looking unit and certainly has an interesting flush, which, as you rightly say would work well in a domestic setting but would find being used in a public setting, somewhat too challenging. Thank you for bringing us these very interesting tests and providing this interesting video production.
I’m honestly glad I didn’t go for a vormax for my bathroom, this video proves that they’re not as good as advertised, at least with the Kohler Elliston putting in a flapper fixed the bowl clearance problem, which is a problem that can’t really be fixed on the vormax toilets from the looks of it
i have a regular vormax and it performs great on normal use, mine has better rinse then this one and its never had any issues really, the one piece version was designed very poorly
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations biggest issue with them is the dual flapper system, it doesn’t allow for modification or improvement which is imo really dumb
A funny video that I think you should make with this toilet would be testing the same tests but with this toilet only flushing with the siphon jet! Including the washcloth, grocery bag, both the washcloth and grocery bag, dish towel, and the most funniest one, the dirt test! I think it would be hilarious doing a bowl rinse test on this toilet with it flushing only with the siphon jet!
It did pretty well it is just the new installation "Priming" that would cause some headaches - so not one for a DIYer to install (you would need a pro plumber which will cost on top of what this toilet costs which may prove prohibitive for some). Good but not one I would install if I was living in the US as I like to save money by doing a lot of home renovations/replacements myself!
Last year when the AS Vormax was pitted against Toto II, the Vormax was quite impressive. I predicted the Vormax the best of the tank 1.28-1.6 gpf class. The "Everclean" glaze matters heaps with low water volume. Of course I would prefer a commercial terlit with a flushometer as they perform better than their tanked cousins. The pressure assist flushes are very close but poor bowl rinsers. My current terlit is the Niagara Conservation Stealth 0.8 gpf (not my choice), and the flush is awesome with shitty bowl rinse due to the double siphon trapway technology from the Armitage-Shanks terlits in the UK. What does that do? Creates a vacuum at start of flush and empties the bowl just prior to water pouring out of the front flush rim, which converges upon the currently empty visible trapway pushing all waste out. I found it really hard to stop this terlit up as I use it in lieu of a soft food waste garbage disposal in my motel room... Have you tested the current model? It has a "boxy" trapway with a very small 5mm siphon jet in front.

These are weird toilets for sure.

Other than the bowl clearance, that did pretty well!
Yeah
These are awesome and great
I respect your opinion
I seen this before at a doctor office
Interesting!
Well, if you’re looking for a American standard toilet the vormaxes are the best ones to get
I respect your opinion on that

I don't know why, but I found when you flush it only using the siphon jet satisfying to some degree.
It is kinda satisfying

I would never ever install one of these in my house.
I used to see these things and say I don't think these toilets clean as good as they do in the commercials and I was right
I don't trust these stupid things one bit. They're excessively over engineered.

It's interesting to see what kinds of creations people come up with the save water. I'd like to find a Stealth eventually.
It does not take much to plug up a stealth
Hi its been a minute
Hi!
If the dirt did not stick that would’ve cleaned the whole bowl
If you got in a different one, it would’ve done a really good job
I'd like to get an Optum or Esteem VorMax eventually
Yeah, the Glenwall is a little hard to install outside because it’s a toilet that you can install to a wall
Nothing special regardless.
What do you mean?
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations The flush itself is interesting though.
