As the last porcelain insulator manufacturer in the USA, this is great to see! Thanks for sharing! If you ever want to tour a working insulator plant, let me know. We are still located in Victor, NY right outside of Rochester.
That is great! I’m glad your still making insulators! I have many Victor insulators in my collection. If you guys ever make anything colorful please save me a sample or if you come across any old signs with the Victor company name on them I’d love to buy one. I’d love to see the factory one day and look around the old dumping areas to find something cool 😁
Wow! Great Collection! Have never seen so much beautiful glass, liked the porcelain to. Never heard of a Mickey Mouse! Thanks for sharing! Please please think about a book on your insulators, the world needs these keepsakes documented. Your knowledge and those photos would be appreciated!
Thanks for the kind words! There’s lots of insulator books out there you can buy that’s all about insulators. I’ll just keep making videos and sharing what I know for future collectors 😁
Thanks! The pinwheels are how the pins were originally shipped out to the telephone companies. Sometimes you can find one at insulator swaps and shows or if you can find enough of the same sized pins you can make your own
I still have a photo of your #1 porcelain cabinet (with the red Bullers) as my screensaver. I get more compliments on that than I do on my own collection! And I just noticed we both have the same locomotive print (on your door). You have an awesome mix, especially the signs.
You seem to be really charged up about collecting insulators. The size of your collection is shocking. Seems you're really grounded and focused on your collection.✌️
Holy Shit! This is badass! Never got into insulators myself but i know jumping down the rabbit hole. I collect Axes, GPA lanterns and marbles. You have a beautiful collection mate. What is your rarest as well as your favorite insulator?

@High Voltage Adventures I didn't know they were shipped like that. There should be a bunch laying around my familes farm I've seen them before
Nice collection, I picked some Brookfield insulators out of a creek along a local railway line last summer
Thanks! They are always fun to find!
We have to make more videos!

Thanks Zach! It’s hard to pick just one! I love them all! Especially the ones I’ve found myself and with my family. Happy collecting! 😁
Were those L&N RR finds in Georgia or another state?
They were in Georgia but I found the same styles in central and southern Alabama also along the L&N RR
