The buzzer and red light are such a great touch; amping up the irritation. The chess scene is so tense; and yet, the idea of Natalie being under the table with a magnet made me giggle. Sometimes the simplest tricks are so effective.

And to think, all of this because Gui happened to walk in while Corridor was screening "Marvel Rated R." Look how far things have come. Been watching this channel for years now. It has been my constant companion while ive been studying to get into medical school. Keep making great stuff you guys. Gui, you are such a great dude!

My guy Gui killed it with the acting! It was nice and short but his facial acting was really impressive throughout the whole thing. CC, I'm a subscriber to your site and have been with you guys/gals for years. No one works harder, and deserves an opportunity like this more than you. Can't wait to see more of these!
What I didn't expect is how much manpower is still there in rigging. I mean I'm damn sure the ropes and pulley systems are all state-of-the-art, very modern materials; but I kinda expected a lot more automation. But no, it's people doing math and physically pulling at ropes to get people moving. Incredible.
And it's nerve racking being the person who helps stop a descent when you're the difference between the performer going home or going to hospital.

Brining in stuntmen and stuntwomen was the best decision Corridor Crew made for their already great channel.

I hope everyone at Corridor is immensely proud of this work. As awesome as it is that there'll be four episodes of this, I'd happily watch 10x that many - I just hope Niko can take all the action! Netflix picked the perfect folks to explain the details of filmmaking.
Also.. Bird's opening? I assume this was set in the 80s, not just because of the decor and computer, but that's about the last time 1. F4 would have been thought of as viable.

I thought Vecna was unsettling but Niko as Eleven at 1:17 is truly the stuff of nightmares.
Had to come by and support the Corridor gang. Killing it as always and they deserve everything that comes their way; they've worked so hard and have been creating at the top of the game for such a long time
Fun fact for the people who aren’t avid corridor crew fans, before GUI was actually the stunt double for black panther in civil war
he's been in so many marvel movies. cap knocked him out with his shield once, and cap put him to sleep in an elevator, and he fell asleep standing up in a briefing in a marvel movie.....gui likes to sleep.
recently i've spotted him as a background character for Psych, as well. But he was still baby Gui back then XD

Amazing! Well done Sam for directing such an awesome short, and Matt for all the painstaking editing. Natalie for the production design, Fenner and Jordan (allen) for the VFX, Nick for running the show, and Niko and Gui for the energetic and informative performances. And to everyone else who I missed!! You guys deserve this big break more than anyone in Hollywood :)
As a netflix subscriber, I would certainly continue my subscription comfortably if more of this was on Netflix proper!

I knew the stunt and SFX were going to be great but I didn't expect the acting to be so effective, he played the Dr character so well
When you guys finished the stunt for real, you remarked that it seemed strange to only do one take after preparing for it for so long. It's just great; here is where live theatre meets cinema. In live theatre, you practice for months because when you open, you have only one shot to do it right in front of an audience. I imagine this stunt work feels exactly the same.

This was everything we knew it would be!! Gui and Niko did such an amazing job hosting the show and acting out their own ST scene. We can't wait for the next 3 episodes....and for Netflix to greenlight more!

It's kinda funny tho, cuz corridor has more subscribers than this channel. I'd be willing to bet much more traffic is being directed from there to here than the other way around.

This was so much fun. I loved the fight choreography in The Grey Man, especially in the hospital scene with that assassin who went for Gosling and Ana, and then that fight scene with him later against Ana de Armas with the rope where they were choking each other around the couch. I thought that was super creative, would love to see how much choreography goes into a scene like that.
The effects are great, but I have to give a standing ovation for the production. Everything is extremely clear in explanation and the way it's presented on camera. They talk about concepts and implementation, but don't forget to talk about planning and safety. I feel like everything here is extremely digestible.
This is amazing! I hope this gets more episodes. And I hope it ends up on actual Netflix.

HUGE kudos to Netflix for bringing Corridor onto this channel!!!!! I’ve been watching Corridor content since their Frozen Crossing video a decade ago. Their love for the filmmaking craft and their profound, nuanced grasp of the components of visual storytelling has inspired & continues to inspire new generations of filmmakers everywhere. Keep the episodes coming, this is fantastic.
Also, if we see a Netflix revival of Sync or TETHER, I would lose my mind, in the best way possible.
So cool to get such an in-depth look at what goes into creating shots like these. Days of prep for 5 seconds of screen time. TOTALLY worth it! And all done safely.. Niko LIVED!!!!!! Can't wait to see more.
Man this is awesome. Watching the friendship between Nico and Gui Before this with Nico doing his high fall, To now actually watching Gui train Nico and have him do real stunts is amazing and thoroughly enjoyable.
Finally some recognition given to the stunt work thats gone into Stranger things, as well as the overall behind the scenes of the film industry! And massive props to letting the Corridor Crew lead this with their incredible experience range! Cant wait to see more!

Been a fan of this group of awesome individuals for the past couple of years. I've watched all their videos from the VFX Artists React to the Corridor Digital channel and Crew Cuts as well as their history of videos. These guys aren't just entertaining, they teach their craft, and as an aspiring filmmaker myself, I've learned so much from them. It's not a surprise that they knock out another show. These guys put in a ton of hard work and their problem-solving approach has helped me understand the filmmaking process. Props to Sam, Niko, and Gui and the rest of the crew at Corridor for putting together another fantastic series! I agree with Zachary, more Corridor is never a bad thing!

Even the way they play chess is great, Gui is super aggressive and desperately wants a leg up and Niko calmly just brushes aside the attacks every time.
Finally, I have been looking forward to punch for punch for such a long time! I think this one turned out great - I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes.

This is top tier entertainment with an amazing production value. If I were Netflix I’d give you guys a blanco cheque. Well… Let’s say I’m not a financial expert, but joke aside, they would be stupid not to consider it. On the other hand, it’s an absolute privilege to let us enjoy this on RUclips. How you guys have the ability to keep growing and expanding after all this time is nothing short of absolutely amazing.
Oh and also, Gui is an absolute dream to see and without a doubt an absolute pleasure to work with! It’s part of the secret sauce for sure.

For all the focus on the stunts in this, I was pleasantly taken off guard with the use of the game of chess in this as a story element. The computer thing was funny too. I used to play chess online all the time with a friend. He was better than me. So one time I did this exact thing to mess with him. Pulled up a computer chess game set to expert in one window, started a game with my friend in another window, and just fed the computer my friend's moves. He was not pleased with me.
Never seen a more suspenseful game of chess in my life. Loved it!
Seeing niko searching for his center of gravity with a harness and two cables... just like in Attack of Titans !
Really enjoyed Gui's hosting flair, and the high energy punch for punch intro/theme.
This type of video is so good, it feels like it would be it's own show on Netflix. Some of the higher budget stuff.

This was amazing. I laughed so hard at the end. This was even more elevated than usual with great story build up. That scene really landed perfectly. Some Umbrella Acadamy would be cool in the future. Some of those fight scenes with those power, 5 in particular, seem a bit abstract to map out.
