I think Corridor has really tapped into something by focusing not on the actors who already get interviewed over and over, but instead on the professionals behind the scenes making the magic happen. You now have directors, VFX supervisors and technicians, stunt coordinators, stunt performers, etc. willing to come on and show how much thought and work goes into it.
I agree. It's awesome to see them come full circle and getting the recognition for it and even get people on who have been wanting to be on their analyzing shows before getting invited. They really bridge the gap between audience and the professionals.
What's kinda sad is that before I started to delve into these videos where they talk about stunts with actual stunt people I hadn't heard of them before. Like Gui, who has doubled for BLACK PANTHER and I didn't even know he existed. It kinda goes to show you just how underappreciated all of these people are who are the real backbone of the industry, but are treated like garbage.
Travis dropping the "hit 'em wit it!" - genuine laugh out loud moment. Gui, Niko, Travis and Freddie - that was awesome. Corridor Crew peeps filming the filming of the action - amazing work too. You nailed it.
Niko’s acting was on point. Huge credit to Freddie, Travis, Gui, and the other guys for guiding Niko as well. You can do all the dope moves and partake in the fight choreo, but if the acting isn’t there, you won’t be able to sell it. That’s what a lot of beginners should keep in mind when doing fight scenes. Do your training and rehearsals, but don’t forget about your acting as well. A good fight scene will have its own storytelling. And you gotta make sure you stay in character and understand what the fight scene is conveying, even with the physically draining moments.
Not gonna lie, Niko nailed this (as well as everyone else), I actually think they did it better than in the show itself, it felt faster and seemed to hit harder.
Yes especially the sequence at 18:23, really hits hard! I think it's not only due to Niko and the stuntmen's performance, but also the snappy camera moves and sound design that helped sell the hits ^^
The actual Cobra Kai show fights look pretty plain and 80's goofy, but this episode of P4P actually did look very exciting. Can't wait to see the Witcher one next! This is such an amazing concept for a show and I really hope it gets another season, despite the strain on Corridor to get it made.
This fight looks more modern. Cobra Kai fights are anchored in karate. And perhaps it’s hard to find stunt doubles for kids so they have to have the kids do most of the stunt fighting.
Man...I'm amazed by the final shot in so little time. The stunt team deserves way more credit than they get for sure. Now the real challenge is to make Wren look as good as Niko
I imagine that the Wren fight scene would be more like Buster Keaton or Jackie Chan; lots of "accidental" dodges and hits, while, all the while, explaining the amount of force generated by a human punch or kick.
This was absolutely incredible guys! So amazing to see such great teams and individuals come together to create this. Corridor, Netflix, & JAM? Doesn’t get better than that!
Absolutely love seeing professionals do this stuff. I'm a big fan of Corridor so I know everyone here. But they are all so genuinely talented and good at conveying their thoughts it's a joy to watch. This series rules.
This was so sick! Not only rad behind the scenes on filming fights, but the end result...chefs kiss. The humour is delicious. I would watch a feature/series produced by this team all day.
I have thoroughly enjoyed everyone of these, it's my favorite series you guys have ever worked on and the marketing has work because I've gone back and watched every series you've showcased on here so cudos to Netflix for this rather experimental advertising, it's incredible and just allows so much freedom to people who look like they're really having an incredible amount of fun working with you
Wow! The amount of effort that goes into prepping for fight scenes is crazy. I think Niko did a better job than most actors if I'm being honest. Would love to see more of this!
The fact this is not an ACTUAL series on Netflix. It’s such a good show. I would watch hour long episodes that even break down the vfx for these shots. From production. To practice. To camera work. To vfx. Pre to post production.
Wow, that Texas Switch hand fakeout can really help to sell the effect, huh? Intuitively you'd think, "Get the double out of frame entirely so the Talent can come in", but how many times do you see exactly that happen and think, Ah! there it was.
Damn these uploads always go under my radar. I watched the first 2 episodes because Corridor actually mentioned this show on their channel, a very helpful reminder. Now I just remembered to check and see if there was a new episode. Love it tho.
Travis Wong was such a professional coach, and the end result definitely had some classic Freddie W. elements. Really enjoyed this video and seeing how Niko's skills progressed. Please keep making more!
Wow. Once I heard they were gonna do Cobra Kai I binged all 5 seasons just to watch this one episode of Punch 4 Punch and wasn't disappointed in either.
hot DAMN talk about a perfect combination of experts that mesh with niko's style. this was insanely fun and informative - i want to do this now. and daaaaamn Niko! you put your love of martial arts films where your mouth is! i absolutely love Cobra Kai and it seems to me like Niko should have a guest appearance on a certain show
You guys definitely hit it, my favorite punch for punch so far. Love the corridor crew, netflix needs to make this a full show on their platform. Also can't wait to see SOAD S2 tomorrow.
I like that they make Niko look like he does not know anything of fight scenes, but in reallity he has done a lot of them! Amazing job to Corridor Digital
This was so awesome. Been a longtime fan of corridor and checking out these punch for punch vids is so cool seeing who they speak to and showing the work behind the faces we normally get to see, focusing on the trainers and stunt professionals.
Ugh this makes me want to do a fight scene right now!! Also Cobra Kai has really made me consider getting into martial arts. I think it would be fun and it never hurts to know some self-defense!
have absolutely loved this series so far, it’s been so well made and interesting! love behind the scenes content and this is all the better to see how some of the work that might not get much attention gets done is amazing! bring another season of this out i beg!!
The coolest part of Punch 4 Punch is Corridor Digital showing that you can make comparable quality entertainment on a fraction of the budget these big studios use. They're showing that filmmaking is more accessible for today's creators than ever before in pictures of the wiggly kind's entire history.
This series is so awesome for so many reasons, not least of which that it's creating jobs for a bunch of talented friends of yours and amplifying all the cool shit they do. Huge congrats to Corridor Crew for this idea and amazing execution.
This was so fun! It’s so cool to see you guys really happy working with what you love. This for sure could be a Netflix show or a separate channel here
Damn and not to mention that freddy wong and matt arnold? Hot damn and the actual fighting scene video really has the vibe of old rocketjump videos lol. Niko did great he really pushed beyond and looked like a bad-ass
Legitimately fun and well crafted fight scene. The Matt and Freddie brought back the old RUclips magic, with a new modern feel from the things learned in the process. OH! Also the way the stunt man got unintentionally hit was crazy! Real contact and he stayed on his feet. That could've been worked into the story if it weren't the finisher.
Damn, I was REALLY hoping they were gonna incorporate the take where Justin got kicked; whenever someone gets hurt doing a stunt that's the take you have to use! Corridor knows this!
This will forever be the episode I associate with the 4 layers of Corridor digital. In case you're wondering it's the: The picture of the picture of the behind the scenes of the Netflix show about the short about a bar fight. PS You guys deserved a full Netflix show, had to say it.
It was great. Was also awesome seeing Freddy again. I STILL reffer people who are just learning filmmaking to Rocket Jump Film School. LOL This episode also reminded me of the awesome Bar Fight short / episodes that Film Riot did a ferw years back. Especially when Niko drank the beer. LOL One minor complain is that the breakaway bottle was super obviously a break away. It didn't look like a real bottle ... maybe it was due to the lighting? As far as the fight went, Niko killed it. Way better than some of the fight scenes you see on WB tv shows LOL.
That bucket list thing Niko said makes me wish this was a service. Just a thing where you could go to, learn a short sequence with some real professional stunt people and do a scene. For all anyone cares it could be a cookie cutter scene so every time someone wants to come in to the studio to do it, it'd be the exact same as if someone else did it. But the real thing is that you would be in the scene to save for yourself.
I was wondering when the next one would show. I'm a day late, but pretty good timing considering the algorithm mishaps and whatnot. Lol well done, everyone!
Love it that the Cobra Kai team has reacted to this vid. Now you guys have to do a Corridor React to Cobra Kai Reactin gto Corridor... with some of the Cobra Kai actors in Stuntmen react !
I think Corridor has really tapped into something by focusing not on the actors who already get interviewed over and over, but instead on the professionals behind the scenes making the magic happen. These are the people that make the actors look good.
THE CORRIDOR CREW RECREATE COBRA KAI STUNTS | PUNCH 4 PUNCH | NETFLIX 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋
Travis dropping the "hit 'em wit it!" - genuine laugh out loud moment. Gui, Niko, Travis and Freddie - that was awesome. Corridor Crew peeps filming the filming of the action - amazing work too. You nailed it.
Netflix, please put these on your own platform they're amazing and deserve a proper distribution!
This is so much better than like 90% of the shows on actual Netflix, and it makes the ones that *are* good even better
no one cares lol
@@Kxreem3677 no one asked lol
this doesn't even mean anything lol.
Agreed (partially), but there are more than 10% good stuff on netflix in my opinion.
@@kellerdavid9949 theres like 12% or 14%
Also Niko KILLED it. Wow that fight scene was fun to watch
Eyyyy Sensei Seth approves! I’ll take it!
This looked like a classic Freddiew short...he's still got it man
What a great episode, yet again
This needs to be a full series on Netflix. I love the idea of this show and they could do many more episodes of it.
@@AccentStudio yeah like it all flows lovely, how the camera movement matches with the choreography is satisfying
They did amazing! but at the same time let’s be honest, Cobra Kai doesn’t have great fight choreo, it’s pretty horrid even 😬
@@poolkrooni yeah I do agree, it often looks very choreographed
Shout out to Gui, Travis and Corridor for having me out. Great group! Great project!
Hey you.
dude in the ponytail is one coooooooool customer
I may be biased cause of the whole karate thing, but this may be one of my favorite RUclips videos
Will you do a Sensei Seth Reacts on it? :D
I think Freddie and Matt have a thing for action scenes set in bars with breakaway bottles :) great episode!!
I'm guessing this was Matt Arnold, right? Shame he didn't get more credit in the video.
Yeah, that silent film bar fight they did for Rocketjump The Show was seriously amazing!
Comedy, action, and a good story all wrapped up in a very short film they are amazing.
@@BallHair-bq2yz I strongly recommend their podcast dungeons and daddies if you heaven't heard it.

Hey Still Watching Netflix, when's the next episode of Punch 4 Punch?
That - is - awesome.
Gui hitting em with the Blank Panther kick at the end!! 19:00
YES! Love seeing Freddie and Matt doing their thang. And Niko totally killed it. LOVE this show. I could watch WAY more of this.
This was absolutely incredible guys! So amazing to see such great teams and individuals come together to create this. Corridor, Netflix, & JAM? Doesn’t get better than that!
Dude, when are you going to teach Niko WCT tag?!
Absolutely love seeing professionals do this stuff. I'm a big fan of Corridor so I know everyone here. But they are all so genuinely talented and good at conveying their thoughts it's a joy to watch.
This series rules.
Damn. Niko did an amazing job! Every hit felt so real. Great job to the other stuntmen. Exited for more !
He was easy to work with and they finished sooner then expected. Unquestionable badass.
This was so sick! Not only rad behind the scenes on filming fights, but the end result...chefs kiss. The humour is delicious. I would watch a feature/series produced by this team all day.

absolutely fantastic fight scene with the right ammount of natural flowing humor
Wow, that Texas Switch hand fakeout can really help to sell the effect, huh? Intuitively you'd think, "Get the double out of frame entirely so the Talent can come in", but how many times do you see exactly that happen and think, Ah! there it was.
The physical comedy with the action had big Jackie Chan energy, and I'm here for it! Corridor Digital 4 LIFE!
Ouch that kick to the face looked like it hurt, what a champ and so professional. You have my respect.
Many thanks
That was a straight up feature level scene right there, that was awesome.
And when Gui busts out that last move my jaw dropped.
Seeing Freddie Wong and Matt Arnold making RUclips shorts again was awesome!
Wow. Once I heard they were gonna do Cobra Kai I binged all 5 seasons just to watch this one episode of Punch 4 Punch and wasn't disappointed in either.
I legit thought he would say “Two Wongs don’t make a white” Lmao
The hype for the Witcher short is real! Really well made fight scene this was. And the Rocketjump team making video's again? I'm not crying
hot DAMN talk about a perfect combination of experts that mesh with niko's style. this was insanely fun and informative - i want to do this now. and daaaaamn Niko! you put your love of martial arts films where your mouth is! i absolutely love Cobra Kai and it seems to me like Niko should have a guest appearance on a certain show

The hits looked incredibly realistic and fluid. That was super fun to watch
So good seeing Freddie!
That was very well done!
FINALLYYY!!! c'mon netflix, i've been waiting for this series specifically!! either way, super awesome work corridor :)

This was the best punch for punch so far amazing. Everyone involved did a amazing job.
Niko did a great job, and everyone involved! All the hits sold very well
I LOVE THIS!! Gui you the man and Niko killed it!! Netflix give these goats a show NOW!!!!!
I loved the comedic reactions during the fight like the rubbing of the limbs after the flip and the hurting hand after the punch.... well done Nico
I love how much technique is actually explored and explained!
Ugh this makes me want to do a fight scene right now!! Also Cobra Kai has really made me consider getting into martial arts. I think it would be fun and it never hurts to know some self-defense!
Niko is definitely a bad ass! Seriously, I am so impressed with the quality of the scenes you guys are producing for this series. Nice work!
Two Wongs do make a right. That was so impressive and fun to watch.
Dude, Niko, you kicked ASS! Seriously. And that Texas switch was SICK!

There's definitely a little flavor of Jackie Chan in the choreography and I'm all here for it!

Shout out to Freddie and Matt, the daddies nailed the shots!
This was sicckkkkkkkk. Blew past my expectations. You can tell Niko is super passionate about stunts
This could easily be a full show on the front page of Netflix. It's so good!
Love how no one mentioned Nico has done fight scenes before, I wanted to see them compare the DIY scenes and the professional scene

Sick! Niko and Freddie colabs are the best
I can confirm you indeed hit us with it.
Soooo good! Niko's gonna be learning how to stunt f-18s in no time!
I love this make it a Netflix show
Loved the Freddie & Matt collab, felt like a viral skit from 2012 in all the best ways
The scene they created had the classic Corridor / Rocket Jump feeling. This reminds me of the Far Cry 3 sketch. 😁❤️
Love Cobra Kai and LOVE Corridor! So dope seeing these together
I was wondering when the next one would show. I'm a day late, but pretty good timing considering the algorithm mishaps and whatnot. Lol well done, everyone!
My favorite Netflix show and my favorite RUclips show coming together. Awesome!
Nice! Best episode yet. Far and away the best short at the end. Nice job guys!
Love seeing Freddie here
that looked so cool! I've been waiting for this episode!
Netflix needs to make this an actual show!
Love it that the Cobra Kai team has reacted to this vid. Now you guys have to do a Corridor React to Cobra Kai Reactin gto Corridor... with some of the Cobra Kai actors in Stuntmen react !
