Divided by distance but ever determined, our scattered friends face a frightening future. But it's only the beginning. The beginning of the end.
Oh, hello. We hope you enjoy this episode - it was a blast making it and we have more coming soon!! Thanks to the wonderful crew who made it possible.
corridor
Great stuff, guys! The show is living up to the hype.
Quite the radical if I do say so myself
Following corridor's work since the beginning, it's amazing see the exponential growth!
Love your stuff!
I love how GUI has became part of the crew. He is as good hosting a show as doing his real job in movies. Can't wait for the rest of the series!
Gui is awesome
My fiancé and I have been watching corridor crew for a while and we love gui. Now every time we see gui in their thumbnail we get hella excited
Corridor has been slowly gathering some of the most creative and interesting people.
@@briando8150 yea, they seem to be gathering the perfect crew members. Not saying names but they got rid of all the people I did not really like that much. Now everyone there is awesome
I had a BLAST helping produce this! You guys are in for a real treat! HIT EM WITH IT
There's that rigging you were talking about. It allllll makes sense now. Haha Killer work!
What was your job? Were you yoinking Niko?
You were great in To the Death. I hope you get to act in a Punch 4 Punch short.
You killed it with the wire work! The end result was more than just a short to show a stunt:-) looking forward to the rest and how you've helped with those!
I'm so happy for y'all. This is awesome!
I have a credit on a Netflix show. So freaking proud of the Corridor Crew!
Cool. Which show?
@@robk.6591 this one.
@@ChristianFergerstrom this is kinda out of the blue for non-member, lol
anyway, happy for all the guys
Seeing that Corridor logo immediately followed by the Netflix logo at the end was kinda surreal!
Tangina bangis!!! 👊
And to think, all of this because Gui happened to walk in while Corridor was screening "Marvel Rated R." Look how far things have come. Been watching this channel for years now. It has been my constant companion while ive been studying to get into medical school. Keep making great stuff you guys. Gui, you are such a great dude!
Oh! is that the origin of stunt react?
Someone time travelled that day for it to happen, trust me 🤣
The buzzer and red light are such a great touch; amping up the irritation. The chess scene is so tense; and yet, the idea of Natalie being under the table with a magnet made me giggle. Sometimes the simplest tricks are so effective.
I didn’t really get why that kept going off
@@AndrewDembouski i think it buzzes every time he makes a wrong move
Fantastic result! Great to see such a detailed detailed breakdown of the process.
Hope you all enjoy! This was so much fun to make and we have more on the way!
I just love your BTS are getting so pro you have a friking crane on your back. I catch some snippets here and there and I'm like "my guy is becoming a walking camera rig"
I'm waiting for the spinoff, Nick
Shrimp 4 Shrimp
crab > shrimp
Excellent Job Shrimp Nick. Keep on shrimpin'
Yooo Nick, I'm a huge fan
I never noticed before, but Gui is a perfect ringer for Eleven.
Gui-Leven
@@JHDiddles12 I can’t like your comment the # is perfect
I had the honor of working on this show with Hiro, he is so humble and a kind soul. He also gave the whole crew those sweet Hawkins stunt hats. Happy to see him getting the recognition he deserves
So good. Congrats on the first episode, guys! Lets goooooo!!!
i can't wait for the Witcher episode,
"But that Witcher short though"😂
I can’t believe they are actually doing a show for Netflix! Been with them since the beginning. Inspirational
I wish, but they're not making a show for netflix. They're making more videos like this one, here on this youtube channel (Still Watching Netflix)
My guy Gui killed it with the acting! It was nice and short but his facial acting was really impressive throughout the whole thing. CC, I'm a subscriber to your site and have been with you guys/gals for years. No one works harder, and deserves an opportunity like this more than you. Can't wait to see more of these!
"I had to make the sound effects. That was the trick" Truer words have never been spoken.
What I didn't expect is how much manpower is still there in rigging. I mean I'm damn sure the ropes and pulley systems are all state-of-the-art, very modern materials; but I kinda expected a lot more automation. But no, it's people doing math and physically pulling at ropes to get people moving. Incredible.
And it's nerve racking being the person who helps stop a descent when you're the difference between the performer going home or going to hospital.
@@thirdeyenz I can only imagine...again Corridor showing WHY there should be whole categories for stunt performers, directors, and technicians in award shows
@@lunatickgeo Totally right. Lets see them make their TV shows and movies without these people. Not gonna happen.
A MA ZING. And Corridor's chemistry is so flawless that this don't feel AT ALL like a first episode. GOATS
Brining in stuntmen and stuntwomen was the best decision Corridor Crew made for their already great channel.
I hope everyone at Corridor is immensely proud of this work. As awesome as it is that there'll be four episodes of this, I'd happily watch 10x that many - I just hope Niko can take all the action! Netflix picked the perfect folks to explain the details of filmmaking.
Also.. Bird's opening? I assume this was set in the 80s, not just because of the decor and computer, but that's about the last time 1. F4 would have been thought of as viable.
I love how Gui is turning into a great host from the couch reactions to now this ❤️
That was sick guys! Love seeing the constant evolution of Corridor and Gui as well!
Corridor absolutely killed it with this. Was awesome to see a breakdown of how this all went. Looking forward to the next ones!!
What the hell. An actual Netflix show. Glad to see more people will see your amazing work.
I mean, not really haha. Just a secondary Netflix RUclips show. Not a full blown show on Netflix
No it's not on Netflix.
Had to come by and support the Corridor gang. Killing it as always and they deserve everything that comes their way; they've worked so hard and have been creating at the top of the game for such a long time
Amazing! Well done Sam for directing such an awesome short, and Matt for all the painstaking editing. Natalie for the production design, Fenner and Jordan (allen) for the VFX, Nick for running the show, and Niko and Gui for the energetic and informative performances. And to everyone else who I missed!! You guys deserve this big break more than anyone in Hollywood :)
Have been watching all the crew cuts up until the release of punch 4 punch. It did not disappoint!
Holy crap! So well done. It's been obvious that Gui needed to team up with the Corridor Crew to do even more cool things. He has been such an INCREDIBLE addition to the "React" series. Im so happy to see this happen. Gui you're an incredible dude.
Fun fact for the people who aren’t avid corridor crew fans, before GUI was actually the stunt double for black panther in civil war
he's been in so many marvel movies. cap knocked him out with his shield once, and cap put him to sleep in an elevator, and he fell asleep standing up in a briefing in a marvel movie.....gui likes to sleep.
recently i've spotted him as a background character for Psych, as well. But he was still baby Gui back then XD
@@KaySan666 Baby Gui 🤣 Baby Gui > Baby Yoda/Grogu, change my mind 😂
I thought Vecna was unsettling but Niko as Eleven at 1:17 is truly the stuff of nightmares.
I was so happy seeing the Corridor Crew guys that I audibly cheered when I saw Sam. Damn this was awesome
They seriously need a full show on Netflix
Been watching corridor for 7 years, glad they are getting more appreciation
That throw looked so good, feels like I'm watching mythbusters for stunts!
Hey netflix, give Gui his own show on history of stunts. Or a stuntman competition show. Just put Gui on my tv.
As a netflix subscriber, I would certainly continue my subscription comfortably if more of this was on Netflix proper!
This was everything we knew it would be!! Gui and Niko did such an amazing job hosting the show and acting out their own ST scene. We can't wait for the next 3 episodes....and for Netflix to greenlight more!
HEY NETFLIX - Are you listening? :D We need twelve more of the corridor crew episodes like these, THIS IS THE BEST I've seen so far on this channel.
This is like old cable tv, but without the filler crap. So good!
IKR! Serious Mythbusters vibes!
So cool to get such an in-depth look at what goes into creating shots like these. Days of prep for 5 seconds of screen time. TOTALLY worth it! And all done safely.. Niko LIVED!!!!!! Can't wait to see more.
When you guys finished the stunt for real, you remarked that it seemed strange to only do one take after preparing for it for so long. It's just great; here is where live theatre meets cinema. In live theatre, you practice for months because when you open, you have only one shot to do it right in front of an audience. I imagine this stunt work feels exactly the same.
3:36 Not to take away from Hiro's introduction at all, but seeing "The Founders" painting on the back wall on this shot is so cool. Y'all are really doing it
This deserves to be on Netflix proper. Or anything these guys make!
Niko was training to become a scout in Attack on Titian
no but seriously great work everyone and this was awesome can't wait to see more
This was so much fun. I loved the fight choreography in The Grey Man, especially in the hospital scene with that assassin who went for Gosling and Ana, and then that fight scene with him later against Ana de Armas with the rope where they were choking each other around the couch. I thought that was super creative, would love to see how much choreography goes into a scene like that.
I knew the stunt and SFX were going to be great but I didn't expect the acting to be so effective, he played the Dr character so well
Just a group of very talented people talking about what they love and having a great time doing it. The world needs more content like this. It's honestly inspiring.
Man this is awesome. Watching the friendship between Nico and Gui Before this with Nico doing his high fall, To now actually watching Gui train Nico and have him do real stunts is amazing and thoroughly enjoyable.
Been a fan of this group of awesome individuals for the past couple of years. I've watched all their videos from the VFX Artists React to the Corridor Digital channel and Crew Cuts as well as their history of videos. These guys aren't just entertaining, they teach their craft, and as an aspiring filmmaker myself, I've learned so much from them. It's not a surprise that they knock out another show. These guys put in a ton of hard work and their problem-solving approach has helped me understand the filmmaking process. Props to Sam, Niko, and Gui and the rest of the crew at Corridor for putting together another fantastic series! I agree with Zachary, more Corridor is never a bad thing!
I like the Gui is pretty much just part of the team now. And when Corridor does full filmmaking, it’s sick.
Finally some recognition given to the stunt work thats gone into Stranger things, as well as the overall behind the scenes of the film industry! And massive props to letting the Corridor Crew lead this with their incredible experience range! Cant wait to see more!
HUGE kudos to Netflix for bringing Corridor onto this channel!!!!! I’ve been watching Corridor content since their Frozen Crossing video a decade ago. Their love for the filmmaking craft and their profound, nuanced grasp of the components of visual storytelling has inspired & continues to inspire new generations of filmmakers everywhere. Keep the episodes coming, this is fantastic.
Also, if we see a Netflix revival of Sync or TETHER, I would lose my mind, in the best way possible.
I'm so glad the wider audience is getting to see Corridor Crew and their amazing work!
It's kinda funny tho, cuz corridor has more subscribers than this channel. I'd be willing to bet much more traffic is being directed from there to here than the other way around.
The effects are great, but I have to give a standing ovation for the production. Everything is extremely clear in explanation and the way it's presented on camera. They talk about concepts and implementation, but don't forget to talk about planning and safety. I feel like everything here is extremely digestible.
Can't wait for corridor to get their own series ON Netflix...
Most wholesome and supportive comment section on all of youtube, rightly so! This needs to be a fully fledged Netflix series 100%!!! Big congrats to the ever-astonishing Corridor staff and the brilliant stunt team on this. Absolutely amazing learning material for the next generation of film creators!
This was fantastic! Thank you Netflix for funding this and giving Corridor more of a chance to share their phenomenal style and passions!
This is awesome! Seeing how they created this is really cool. Just makes me appreciate the show that much more 💜
It's so annoying seeing you comment everywhere that is stranger things related or just Netflix related in general 🙄😒
This is amazing! I hope this gets more episodes. And I hope it ends up on actual Netflix.
I've been waiting for this to come out for months! I've loved watching the production of this show and it's amazing that it's finally out!
Same! So cool!
Just wait until the show ends in 2024 lol.
I know that this video is about Netflix and corridor crew but I just can't get enough of the fact that Mark is actually working as an intern and is genuinely eager to learn about this stuff
Yeah!
Yooooo, this was SO GOOD! Well done crew, it all looks amazing. Edit is fantastic, intro absolutely BOPS, Gui and Niko bounce off of each other so well! Netflix, give Corridor ALL the money!
Finally, I have been looking forward to punch for punch for such a long time! I think this one turned out great - I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes.
i think the closeup on niko with the floating piece in front of him is the coolest looking shot actually
The unexpected comedy at the end of the short had me cracking up, it was perfect.
Comparing "amateurs" to professionals in their own wheelhouse is an awesome concept for a show- and it's excellent promotion!
THIS WAS SOOO GOOD! Can't wait to see the rest of them, I've really been looking forward to this
So awesome to see Corridor on Netflix!!! My son and I have been religiously watching Corridor Crew for years.
This is top tier entertainment with an amazing production value. If I were Netflix I’d give you guys a blanco cheque. Well… Let’s say I’m not a financial expert, but joke aside, they would be stupid not to consider it. On the other hand, it’s an absolute privilege to let us enjoy this on RUclips. How you guys have the ability to keep growing and expanding after all this time is nothing short of absolutely amazing.
Oh and also, Gui is an absolute dream to see and without a doubt an absolute pleasure to work with! It’s part of the secret sauce for sure.
Love you’re working with corridor! My favorite RUclips channel…….and the result is epic
MORE OF CORRIDOR CREW ON NETFLIX PLEASEEEEEEEE!!!!!
love the transition shots of Gui doing Martial Arts!
This was amazing. I laughed so hard at the end. This was even more elevated than usual with great story build up. That scene really landed perfectly. Some Umbrella Acadamy would be cool in the future. Some of those fight scenes with those power, 5 in particular, seem a bit abstract to map out.
This is so good, I've been watching Corridor Crew stuff for awhile, I'm so glad Niko and Gui are doing more things together
Been following the production of this via the Corridor website! So good to see it finished! GG wp all round!
Yes please, more Corridor Crew on this channel! Love this team, best people to learn from when it comes to movies and stunts and CGI, and VFX, you name it!
This type of video is so good, it feels like it would be it's own show on Netflix. Some of the higher budget stuff.
That final cut was amazing. Every detail including the noob stomping chess tactics.
the intro is soo cool, congrats Matt 💪
I like how they incorporated it throughout the episode too, it went a long way towards tying everything together.
Even the way they play chess is great, Gui is super aggressive and desperately wants a leg up and Niko calmly just brushes aside the attacks every time.
Yes. No notes. More please.
This crew would be amazing with their own show exploring and re creating these types of scenes with the people that helped create them. Id watch it over and over! great work guys! love corridor, also love how Gui is becoming more of a regular
I'll stay subscribed for a long as this series with Corridor keeps going
I freaking love this. I really like the scene transitions too. I've learned that appreciation for crafting a video from you guys. NETFLIX GREENLIGHT MORE EPISODES!
So stoked on this. You guys always kill it ✊
Been watching you guys since 2010
Niko's laugh is so freakin cool! Love this dude!
Shout-out to the VFX, they did an amazing job making it look completely legit!
I just love that you can see the 'Out Founders' painting in the background for a large portion of the eposide
For all the focus on the stunts in this, I was pleasantly taken off guard with the use of the game of chess in this as a story element. The computer thing was funny too. I used to play chess online all the time with a friend. He was better than me. So one time I did this exact thing to mess with him. Pulled up a computer chess game set to expert in one window, started a game with my friend in another window, and just fed the computer my friend's moves. He was not pleased with me.
Congratulations Corridor Crew! As always, flawless final cut with that unexpected funny punch at the end, entertaining and informative behind the scenes and overall coolness you guys have. I just love the dynamics of the team and that transcends the video and always leaves me on an elevated mood. I love you guys. Thank you for being you!
This needs to be a full 22 episode netflix series
Loving this. Nico: so many props for being up for it and willing to learn.
Gui: you are a FAB presenter!! I want to see more of this side of you :)
This allowed fans to appreciate the team who work so hard on a moment that could just be 15 seconds on screen
Ugh I love everything about this. The breakdown on filming is so much more fun. It's like the behind the scene content I can watch all day ❤️
Awesome stuff! Can't wait to see the remaining episodes
Fantastic work! Seeing all the BTS I knew it would be but I'm still blown away. Definitely deserves to become a streaming show on Netflix. Can't wait to see more!
The fact that this isn't on the actual main Netflix channel is pretty dismissive of the amazing work that the Corridor crew have done.
This is great! Corridor is really at its best with this kind of format, a combination of film geekery, a behind the scenes documentary and a fun short film to wrap everything up. Hope to see many more like this!
Speechless!! Can’t believe it’s out! So much hard work went into Punch 4 Punch and it shows!!! Also super happy for Matt cuz that intro really does get u hyped!! Congrats to the crew & GUI! Can’t wait for the rest!
Been a fan of Corridor since the beginning! I love the content and work they put behind everything they do! Netflix DO NOT miss this amazing opportunity to give them a show!
Seeing niko searching for his center of gravity with a harness and two cables... just like in Attack of Titans !
The Corridor Crew sent me here. Glad to see that they are working with Netflix.
