@@StryfetheWarrior honestly would be much better than the ones they already released, the retro pixel art is a lot suitable & more retro & even suitable for Cobra Kai, the 3D felt like it came straight out of a mobile game
@@SuperKhalid95I get what you're saying but since the company that made the first games is now defunct, it's possible a new gaming company may take over and make the third Cobra Kai game a bit better than the first two.
@@StryfetheWarrior it’s interesting because after Revenge, a physical DLC was released I believe a years later and now, I read this morning that Limited Run released a Shredder’s Revenge Ultimate Edition. I wonder how many of these brawlers will now release resembling Revenge. I agree with you, it looks decent enough but not worth the price. The original Switch WILL be my final current gen system. I just have way too many games and not enough time.
Compared to dojos rising, this game does a great job with delivery. I agree they should've had an online option if they wanted to do a multi-player game. I played each level with just one character and I actually found it to be very easy playing solo. Maybe it's cuz i play a lot of fighting games but I give. I do think the artwork for johnny and Sato are a bit weird since they never looked buff or jacked in the movies, they were more lean. If I'm gonna be honest, this game could've been better, but it's definitely the more well developed game compared to the 2 cobra kai games we got. This is coming from someone who's invested in the cobra kai plot than in the karate kid. Other than that, great video dude! One thing I wanna add. I wanna see a karate kid or cobra kai game have some free flow combat system. This series is about karate, so I feel like they could've taken a page from the developers who created sleeping dogs or sifu to replicate it. But I think that may be too much considering what I've seen in the 3 games we got so far.
I think had I realized how to utilize perfect dodge more effectively, I probably would've gotten past Fight and Dance. Buff Sato is funny as hell, but a lot of people forget that Johnny did tower over Daniel, and bosses being way bigger than player characters is nothing new imo. Appreciate your comment!
Dude, the first Cobra Kai Game is absolutely fantastic, Dojos Rising is Dogshit tho. Didnt played Street Rumble yet but it looks like a neat 2 D Brawler, just like the first one. Im gonna grab it as soon as its on sale
@@StryfetheWarrior yeah, needs some updates and DLCs to make up for it, would love to see more playable characters and The Next Karate Kid story DLC, that would be great
Lack of online makes this more enticing to me. I hate online gaming But, to be honest. This looks like a $25/$30 game. I would not pay $40 just because I like a franchise. The game has to deliver on an amazing experience for me to play $40 plus on a game.
@@StryfetheWarriorYeah, as for the next Cobra Kai game, they should have better DLC characters to unlock. For instance if they should have a third Cobra Kai game set in season 5 they should have Mike Barnes, Chozen, and even the Way of the Fist sensei's as DLC's: they can be this or even mini-bosses in the final level (similar to how Kyler, Brucks and all the other bad guys in the first game were in the final level before you face off against Kreese).
They need to add online add a voice, to story they need to add different characters to fight, not the same ones i'm not talking about the bosses. This 2024 people

I would say with this, I might wait until it's like $20. Maybe even $15 before picking it up. Sadly, with that lack of online play, Anderson knocks it down.
Yep, garbage like the other two. Y’know if they compiled the time and budget of all 3 and put it into one game it could have been great. The idea of playing through the first three films and then leading into Cobra Kai is solid, just the gameplay and story aren’t. Oh well, maybe in another universe.
The first one was pretty decent and doesn't get enough praise for playing like a fighting game. Dojos Rising had a great concept but terrible execution. KKSR is somewhere in the middle.

I actually talked about what they could learn from DDG when the game's trailer first hit. But the similar art style of both almost replicates TMNT: Shredder's Revenge.
Please, do not release more video games about The Karate Kid or Cobra Kai. They all suck and they contain a massive disconnection to the saga. 🤬 PS: Pixelated games is way over done.

I honestly have been really enjoying thid game. Altough it does have its flaws... I really enjoy the sprite art, combo system and the way you level up each character. I loved the music also. The problems I have are the movement and the Boss AI is horrible. Its like the bosses are on rails and just walk around randomly. They dont seem to track or target you and also their super armor is really a cop-out imo. Great video, I agree the game would be a lot better w/ online. I really hope they release a patch and fix some of the glaring issues because they have the foundation of a great game here. 🥸👍 Liked and subbed.
People are just never satisfied. I keep seeing comments on other people's videos saying how the game isn't doing anything different from other beat em ups. It's literally a beat em up. What else is it supposed to do ? Are the characters supposed to shoot lasers from their eyes ? Are they supposed to shoot milk from their belly button to be original ? It's funny because people never say this about shooting games. If that's the case, what are shooters doing to separate themselves apart ? It's funny because the same people who are saying these newer beat em ups aren't doing anything original are the same people who buy remasters or remakes to games that they've already played numerous times already. The gaming community just loves to complain.

@@tvgamerstan6180 Yeah I mean beat-em-ups are typically straightforward, so I don't get that criticism. I actually thought the revive method was BETTER than what Shredder's Revenge did. Could they make a Cobra Kai game in this style?
