      You should have used percocet to wein down slowly before you stopped. Then you could mega dose vitamin C. And then use kratom for like 4 to 7 days max so you don't get hooked on the kratom. And then I smoke marijuana and take edible marijuana gummies or whatever you like to help with nauseousness

Thanks for posting the videos, i bet it helped several people who really really needed it either to be warded off going on fentanyl or going off it like you are. It’s possible and you’re proof. I was on fentanyl for 8 years. I got off of it in 2 months - my dr said I detoxed too fast - like a junkie. It was the worst! It took me months to feel good again after stopping. But I’ve been off it for 5 years now and feel great. Hang in there u can do it! The thing is u have to push through the withdrawal symptoms and u Will feel like shit as u know. Btw I had not heard of using morphine to withdraw from fentanyl. Good luck on ur journey! Like I said u can do it!

      Thank you for your comment! I’m sorry to hear about what you went through. It’s absolutely awful which is why I’ve done it over so long. I started a year ago and I’m still only on half the dose I was previously but I’m feeling much healthier and my pains a lot more under control so im not bothered on the time frame. I do feel like shit when I first drop down but luckily I have morphine to help take the edge off until I adjust so it’s a slow and steady race. Glad you’re feeling better now you’re off 😊

    Hi, how are you? I’ve watched most of your videos and I have sub’ed but I honestly don’t understand why you’re still prescribe fentanyl patches ..I know you were in a car accident but I believe that was many years ago. Did you have to get like a hip replacement / leg amputated ,I’m pretty sure the pain you got from the accident should be all gone by now .. I was getting 100 MCG patches because I was burned over 75% of my body. I do live in the states (PA). I believe you’re from over the pond and I was in excruciating pain. I’m am still in pain but doctors here do not want to prescribe me any type of narcotic due to the opiate crisis here in the US ..Maybe I need to move to the UK lol ,if you don’t mind me asking what strength patches do you get and do you also get anything for breakthrough pain, I’m very surprised you’re still getting prescribed fentanyl which is the most potent painkiller narcotic available ..It’s pretty much made for terminally ill cancer, patients .. or someone like me that almost died in a fire with multiple skin graphs 20 operations in the fire that burns 75% of my body. I had jump from a 4 story window. I have screws /plates .. two hip transplants and two knee transplants ,compound fracture on my arm that required more screws a rod and plates that are going to stay in there till I die so I get massive amounts of pain especially when the weather changes but doctors want to only prescribe me oxycodone five over 325.. when I was first prescribed medication for my burns, I was also on patches OxyContin oxycodone Hydromorephone. I just don’t get it I guess different rules or laws where you’re from here. Doctors are getting arrested for over prescribing so they do not want to write any type of narcotic pain medication even with my condition. I guess here doctors are too scared to go to jail so they do not prescribe anything strong and the only thing I get right now is tramadol, which is very weak and doesn’t do anything really

    • @amieelizaa
      @amieelizaa  Год назад

      I’m getting there, thank you! So I was prescribed them from a doctor who didn’t fully know what it was which is insane. I was told it was the same as morphine (when it’s 100x stronger 🤦🏻‍♀️) they have only found out 7 years later when I’ve paid to go private, that the pain when nothing is broken etc, is from my pelvis not being aligned and so it causes horrific pain is most of my body. But granted, fentanyl is for end of life of people coming out of surgery like you said. It should have never been prescribed to me but they were happy to give me it forever. It’s myself who decided not to continue it and come off as I was children soon. People think the opiate crisis is only an issue in the US but it’s massively a problem there in the UK too! I think different doctors who are more knowledgeable would have never given it to me, but they still gave me morphine rather than trying to find out what the actual issue was. I’ve never heard of doctors getting into legal trouble for prescribing fentanyl though over here, but I would probably have a case honestly. I’m so sorry to hear what you went through with the fire, that sounds absolutely excruciating. I can understand how tramadol wouldn’t be anywhere near enough after the meds you had before so I’m hoping you can find something to help manage your pain!

    They reduced you way too fast and by WAY too much at a time. Why on earth did they do that to you!? For other people you can cut the patches for smaller doses. This is not right.

      I was originally told that patches can’t be cut! Later found out they can be and that helped me so so much!

    You will never fully quit opioids. Just trading one opiate for another.

      I'm living proof that one can fully quit opiods. If I can do it so can you. It does get better. Don't listen to fools like the above commenter.

    • @amieelizaa
      @amieelizaa  Год назад +10

      Wow, you are so rude! I don’t need to explain myself to you but if you actually watched the video you would know I’ve cut down to half of what I was on at the start of the year. I take a small amount of morphine (compared to the equivalent in fentanyl) to help with my pain so no, this is completely untrue. Clearly you’ve been hurt by someone unable to completely beat their addiction but that will not be me. I’m on the right track and slowly (and more importantly safely) reducing until I’m drug free. I know I will get to that point, I couldn’t care less what you think honestly. But by all means, keep the comments coming 😂

  • @BadgerBabyBoy

    Are you given no choice or are you choosing to reduce/stop to get clean?
    Just think how bad it’d be cold turkey
    I’m sure things will get better in no time 🤍
    Ps I’m going through the same things right now and it’s all a learning curve

    • @amieelizaa
      @amieelizaa  Год назад

      It’s completely my choice. My doctor would leave me on fentanyl for my whole life I think 😂 I want to come off so that I can have children and obviously be drug free! Thank you, I know it would be horrific but it’s still awful now!
      I hope you feel better soon!
