My Active Fentanyl Addiction// Withdrawal Update 2
Просмотров 4,7 тыс.Год назад
Hi everyone! So sorry for the delay in getting the next update out. I’ve been so unwell as I discuss in this video. I had a bit of a rough patch with withdrawing too but hoping I’m back on the path now 🤞🏼 Sometimes things take longer than we expected but I’ve come to terms with this and I’m confident I’ll get there eventually. For previous updates wnd future plans regarding my active fentanyl a...

Hi everyone! So this is a part 2 to the previous video I did, where I discussed the primary or physical health services that are available to prisoners. This video discusses the mental health services that are available to prisoners in the prison I worked in specifically, as I can only speak on that. A lot more needs to be done by the NHS for people struggling with both their physical and menta...

I’m going to do a part 2 to this video which will be regarding all the mental health support t...

I feel slightly more stable now but I’m still finding it incredibly difficult and especially as I had planned to be but life doesn’t always go as planned. I just hope and pray these videos may help even a tiny bit to raise awareness of the horrible things that happen! Thank you so so much for watching, it means more than you know 💕

Just wanted to say great job. I watch a few of your videos and really have enjoyed them. You should be proud of what you have done. I am a corrections officer myself and its so nice to see success after prison. You would be a great person to share this with and I would love your thoughts on how I handle these situations. I am in a lot of situations where I escort inmates throughout the facility. Medical, counseling, rec, chow, work details. Sometimes we have to wait before I can bring them in to where ever they need to go. Like medical could have lines, counseling could be going longer, work details just might not be ready. So anytime we had to wait, I wanted to have the inmates restrained but didn't really feel the need to put them my handcuffs. So I decided to come up with a way to restrain them without physical restraints. Keep in mind, I'm moving between 2 to 10 inmates at a time. So if we're in a position where we have to wait, I'll have them sit down(if there is a place to, if not standing works too). Then I have them interlock their arms with the person next to them. Think of a sit in protest. That sort of thing. This way I now have all their arms secured. This is a much easier and faster way to restrain them without having to take the time to cuff each one up and then have to remove the cuffs when we're ready to go. Its also a lot more comfortable for them. I actually think they prefer to lock arms as opposed to being cuffed. I have done this with as little as two inmates but I've also had as many as 10 guys locking arms together. If there is a bench to sit on, I have them sit. If not, I have them stand with their backs as close to the wall, then they connect. I've gotten major props from my peers for doing this innovative approach. The initial reaction I get when nurses or other officers see this is smiles. Its a unique visual that no one expects. But then I get a look of 'good idea, smart move' My command for this is "LET'S LOCK EM' GENTS!" When I shout that, they know to start looping. When I'm ready to move on with them, I just tell them to untangle. This is a big time saver. Cause its a lot faster for them to interlock arms and untangle then it would be for me to cuff them and then have to remove the cuffs. Again this is mostly for short wait times where I want them restrained but don't feel the need to handcuff them. Obviously I'll still cuff when I need to. So what are your thoughts on this? Is it a good idea? Should I keep doing it? As an inmate would you have minded locking arms or would you rather be cuffed? I would love your feedback.

I've been off pain meds since Dec 30, 2020 after an 11 year dependence due to an assault followed by a horrific car accident 2 years later. At the end, I was taking 28-35 perc 10s a day... I was fed up and I was done. I went to suboxone and it's crazy how much less I hurt. With a broken neck/smashed jaw/ etc the only time I feel pain is when I lay down at night... it feels like electricity is zapping my legs... but that's it. I do really well with suboxone for pain management. I don't envy your position one iota.

You can do this, I know you can! Acknowledging is the first step to making a change in your life. A lot of times people want to cover up the pain they have experienced and it from what I was reading is highly addictive with horrible side effects with withdrawal. You will get through this and talking about your story on here is an amazing acknowledgment to what you have gone through. Don’t give up and understand that they are putting all kinds of deadly chemicals in that stuff, so much it is killing people and you deserve a better life than that.
