No. That's not gonna happen. Sammy trashed Wolfie's dad in his book. AND, Wolfie doesn't wanna be associated with this incarnation. It absolutely 100% is NOT gonna happen. After what Sammy wrote about Ed in his book he burnt the Van Halen family bridge.
Dave's vocals were "unique" and paired with his stage presents really made him the right guy at the right time for Van Halen. Sammy is a better vocalist and musician and has aged better, but his vocals aren't as good as they have been in recent years. Either age is finally catching up or the 2 hour set may have been a bit too ambitious. In the end, I really applaud Sammy for putting this group of talent together for this tour and still putting on a great show. R.I.P. EVH
@@earthdust923 Music is subjective but Dave always sounded cooler to me, with more swagger, blues and personality and his rough voice fit perfectly with Eddie and Michael’s blended harmonies. The vibe and chemistry was as exciting as it was innovative. After 1985 they sounded more like an average band with Eddie’s techniques and more commercial oriented music.
