i feel like this song suits alucard’s backstory perfectly. it just encapsulates all the suffering from his childhood, his religious view on war and the way he not only lost his army, his kingdom and his people, but also his very identity… the sorrow of a life of torture and hatred, that wouldn’t allow itself to be put to rest
I think monster of god suited his backstory more both him and Anderson became monsters in the name of God Alucard was consumed with bloodlust after while he was blinded by insanity
