Man, I had a 2008 SG Classic that I sold to put some money away for my wedding. I miss that guitar so much. Yours sounds incredible with these Lollars in it.

This is a GREAT demo video that really illustrates what these pickups can sound like. So often you see a demo video and it's all about someone who wants to be a rock star trying to hotdog it up. This is clearly all about the sound of these pickups. My complements to you on this. Oh, and by the way your playing was mighty fine for such a demo. Good job!

The neck only rhythm section is especially pleasant.
Sweet Lollar P-90 tones, awesome demo! Lollar says the 50s wind is brighter while the Standard wind is more typically vintage. But to me these sound brighter and more sparkly than my Gibson P-90s. I like the subdued lighting, gives an intimate ambience to the room and highlights the SG nicely. Cheers!

Pot values used? That makes a huge difference in the tone produced.

The neck is too bassy in my LP and trebly in bridge..
"clean" means no reverb
🤔 i have no words to describe how ridiculous of a statement that is
Reverb just sugar coats the sound and removes the distinctness off the tone
"Dry" means no reverb or other wet effects. "Clean" means little to no gain.
@@deut3168Moot point, I never said it wasn't clean, the point is you can't get a real good handle on the pickups on a youtube demo with so much reverb, all the character is airbrushed. Yeah it's clean, but I'm no closer to knowing if I want to but these pickups. Nice demo though.
