    Debrincat improved big time defensively, so yeah he was t scoring, but he proved his worth.

    He has so many great opportunities to score in Detroit last year and fell short. Maybe this year will be better.

    Did Boston just become the first team to trade away their first round pick, and later made a separate trade with a different team to re-aquire their own pick?

    Let's not forget the impact DeBrincat had on getting Kaner to sign in Detroit. If Ullmark can elevate the Sens, then I'll be more open to saying the Sens made off well.

    I think its reasonable to expext for Debrincat to average a 30+ goal 70+ point season for his current deal and then he would be worth his contract. He was a few goals and points short of that but I think he will bounce back.

  • @theskatebus1687

    Debrincat struggled because of Lalonde, and our lack of center depth.

    @DirtyMoneyHipHop 20 дней назад +1

    The Cat has had the exact season the last 2 years in a row. I don't see him surpassing 30 goals again in his career, even though he's still pretty young. He's not a bad playmaker on top of his decent goal scoring ability, but he's a small, non-physical player who will disappear in the playoffs should the Wings ever make them. You'll never see him win a puck battle.

  • @sens_outlook

    Ullmark definitely makes the deal a little bit better for the Sens but imo I think it would be a fair deal if we can extend him for 5 years.

    • @DirtyMoneyHipHop
      @DirtyMoneyHipHop 20 дней назад +1

      Dumping Korpi makes the deal a win for me (yes, still $1M retained annually). Signing Ullmark will be the icing on the cake if the Sens can sign him.

  • @SensFriendly

    I would do this trade again any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Cat had 9 goals in his first 7 games in Detroit. Only 16 goals in the last 75 games and only 10 of those at even strength. Long stretches with wings fans wondering if he was even playing. That player will never be an affective part of a winning team. If he disappears in February he has zero chance in May

    • @icedo1013
      @icedo1013 21 день назад

      And how many posts did he snipe? How long did he get to play with Kane? Just because nobody wants to try and make your never-done-anything barrel scraper of a team any better doesn't mean they don't want to make any team better. Wings are your 202X Stanley Cup Champion, *with* DaBigCat. Better get used to hearing it.

    • @DirtyMoneyHipHop
      @DirtyMoneyHipHop 20 дней назад

      The Cat is overrated if you actually watch him play a lot. The Wings fans will learn like the Sens fans that this guy won't improve your team. He's decent and will pot a few here and there, but not the answer that a lot of fans seem to think.

      @@carlhorrocks6180debatable on pure value but you forgot Ullmark is a veteran already 30+ years old while DeBrincat way younger 26+ and he can Score goals just based on his natural qualities. Ullmark is a very good goalie a Starter but he's not Bobrovskiy or Vasy he got the Vezina one time sure but after that never really confirmed so no DeBrincat > Ullmark to me definitly
