Canucks offensive strategy only shines in regular season when defending teams give more time and space.
In the playoffs time and space was aggressively taken away and their shots and offensive dominance struggled.
They had nearly zero rush game, and I called it out all year. Thank god they’re addressing this
it was pretty obvious that they started to put 2 guys high after hughes and hronek were lighting everybody up and the scoring dried up. killed the PP scoring as well. debrusk got a lot of goals on the rush. should be fun.
@@CashMacGregor same with sprong
Pretty excited to see what our forward group will do. Four dangerous lines and more sturdy than last year.I liked Michaev, but he never started playing better till close to the end, but still could not score to save himself. A bunch of our guys got banged up at around the 35-40 game mark. I don't see that happening this season. I see us playing more consistent. And in the end with a higher point total than last year. How many potential 20+ goal scorerson this team? Two great goalies.
Still need a Top 4 D Man
@@conservativeamber1216 Not sure how the team would do it. No cap room. Give up another 1st rounder and some icing? Anderson for a 1st and Hoglander? Calgary is in rebuild mode.
I think we will have a very competitive team next season. Edmonton will also. Those games will be fun to watch and will have a new level of respect between the teams as they both know they are at the top of the league in skill and ability.
I still think they are 1 top 4 D away from being a cup contender. Unless someone surprises us in camp like Cole Mcward, D Petey or Tom WIllander, we may have to make a trade. We probably have 1 to many forwards as it stands.
This team has most of the pieces in place to compete with any team in the league.
We will need guys like Heinen, Sprong, Sherwood, and Podkolzin to step it up. We will need the usual group to carry the load and be consistent in their play
It will be a fun season for fans and I will be placing a bet at the beginning of the season that the Canucks win the cup!
I really like what I see with the Canucks and can;t wait to see them in action. They are deeper, more talented group compared to last season and, add Lekkerimaki into this, excitement is guaranteed.
Still Need a TOP4 D Man and then this team is set
Go out there ... and go out there
The Canucks probably won't have such a great regular season or playoffs. They might have a mediocre 2025-2026 regular season and show up in the spring of 2026... that could be their breakthrough year.
I hope the Canucks have a better season... tired of being the joke of the NHL
2nd round in the playoffs and 1st in the Pacific is a joke? What do you call all the teams that didn't even make the playoffs? This comment is the joke of the internet. LMAO.
@@sucraf1you hacent been following this team for over the last 50 years have you Its been terrible forever with a couple of flashes of okay but not good enough
Nah Toronto will always be the joke of the nhl and it's not even close
Don’t u mean the leafs????
The joke is, since 1970, the Canucks haven't won a Cup. President trophy' and Division Championship's are great. But no Cup. Yes, I watched the 94 and 2011 Canucks fall short.
Yes big things like a 16th overall pick in 2025
Too many ifs
Bahahaha
Canucks might make the 6th playoff spot in the west
Might i agree there not that good the secind half of last season proved that .They got lucky last year will see if it holds up
They will be fighting for tops in the west.
When did people get it in their heads that sprong is a top six winger he has never been trusted to play higher the 3rd line sure give him another chance let him fail to meet expectations
Canucks have
4 top 6 forwards IF DeBrusk shows he belongs there.
2 top 4 D
😂😂😂
his point production could explode hes had multiple 20 goal pace seasons on 12 minutes a night
@@troysander5731 he has never earned the trust of his coaches to play higher in the lineup and for short periods when he has played top 6 he wasn’t productive at all
@@troysander5731 Playing against 3rd and 4th liners.
Allvin nominated for best GM, Toch wins best coach, I think management and coaches know what they are doing 🙄
