Late to the party, eh? But Bik Arrows are SO GOOD! They make bosses like HM Kerapac feel so much more approachable & laid back compared to more switch heavy builds, and the kill times are really decent! Have you gotten a chance to try out this Bik Arrow build? What're your thoughts?

I really like this setup, but let me throw this at you real quick. Overcharge your poison further with kwuarm incense sticks for a further 10% damage bonus on all your poison and in turn even more damage from your vamp/reaver combo. Its basically nothing to add them in for a pretty large increase in damage.

Here's a tip: the blood reaver's spec with its scrolls heals u 1k each time it's used. Can be helpful in p4 (wouldn't use p1-p3 because want to be healing for ss and vamp for poison procs). Use ancient spell prism of restoration to heal the reaver because using its spec takes away some of its hp.
Hey I'm a little late but thanks so much for putting this out. I've been wanting to grind out HM Kera for fsoa (mostly because its beautiful visually imo) and I started with mage and my best kill so far like that was about 7:12. Seen this and love the idea of a poison ranger build and was able to get a 5:21 in my first hour of trying it. It makes it so much more enjoyable to actually grind out that I'm willing to do back to back hours like this. Keep up the great work :)
@@RheyoRS Wanted to thank you again. Got my first staff piece at 216 KC. I feel super consistent with this method now and was able to get a 4:58 without Limitless and pretty easily get 5:10's. Might keep camping Kera after I finish my FSOA just because of how much fun it can be. :)
I think wiki is wrong about the maximum stacks of bik arrows. It's 200 max stacks for +400% extra poison damage. In game tool tip says 200 max stacks. Testing on combat dummy and you can see that each single-hitting ability adds +2% under the target's hp bar and that caps at 400%. Bik arrows are still extremely good. I just wanted to point that out.
@Rheyo RS The debuff is %, not stacks. It's super confusing why they did it that way when stacks of things are always what the debuff shows. If you hover it, the tip will clarify its the % increase. Otherwise super good. Something to add is Morgan's challenge gem can make it so you never have full hp which really increases the poison hits.
This video has been super informative but I'd like to add my Humble opinion regarding the Strykebow. I know many people don't like Shieldbows for DPS, but, if the goal is to maintain Bik Arrow and Aftershock stacks, on top of having access to defensive abilities at their fullest, like Cade, Debil, Reso and Reflect (because the SB is, fundamentally, a T85 Shield without any restrictions like defenders) then this bow is worth keeping in the back of your mind. A decently perked Strykebow, IMHO, would have something like (Caroming 4 + Aftershock 1) on their Weapon Gizmo Slot and something like (Bulwark 3 + Turtling 2) on their Armour Gizmo Slot; the SB can hold one of each Gizmo but not two of the same. Also including the Malletops RooT perk to extend Cade Duration. Now, i also get the idea of using a Crossbow Mainhand with a Shield or Spirit Shield for Bakriminel Bolt Shenanigans, but the Strykebow adds just another layer for Range Builds to consider, specially if one's using the BLG or HHB. Edit: English is hard man.
This is an interesting idea, I like the idea of a seemless swap unlike crossbow/shield/ammo swapping. When I have more funds to freely play around with I’ll give this a shot.
They're worth using for a defensive switch and nothing more until we see a higher tier shield bow. I have a pf strykebow switch with bulwark and turtling but I'd not recommend trying to actually kill anything with it.
Does achto tempest make the strykebow worth camping? Its a 5% damage increase per armour piece right? So +25% would that bring it close to standard 2h damage output?
Took your advice and upgraded to Strykebow, to clarify on the offensives, it does have the reduced damage you would have when using a shield/mh swap so it's not 100% damage like you'd get with a longbow, but it's a very good option when using arrows. Found this swap to be very beneficial at Kerapac specifically due to not messing up my positioning during p4, and not having to arrow swap. Good investment and suggestion 🙌
ive had my strykebow as my pf/reso switch since first buying ecb when it was still meta. it was it's only purpose. luckily i had it in my inventory on my first crack at hm kera. it saved me from a blunderous p4 when i realized the dmg that enraged kera was hitting thru prayer 😂😂 i wouldnt camp the bow anywhere, but to finish off the tail end of p4, the dmg is honestly very respectable and made finishing the kill stress free.
There's another interaction that makes this build broken, the healing crystal which you can get from morvran's slayer challenge :D I don't have it yet myself so can't test it out but i saw wasware's video covering it and the poison damage looks insane! Maybe try it out would love to hear your thoughts on it :D
dude i couldnt solo this boss for the life of me with mage cryptbloom etc melee like nothing ever! and i legit just got my first ever solo kill with this method using asc xbows and nox long bow asc xbows were for hydrix grico adren switch but dude i cant believe it holy .. 5 min killtime too
Okay so this setup is sick, and I have an idea. According to the wiki, the upgraded bone blowpipe is aprox a 25% increase to poison damage because of the way it interacts with cinderbanes. Would you be able to test it on this setup at kerapac to see if its even better? So you stack up the bik arrows with your bow, and then switch to the blowpipe, and then swap to the bow once every 30 seconds to keep your stacks. I just wonder if it would be any better. Also really enjoying binging this series and the maxing melee series while working 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'm thinking of getting a scripture of wen, is it not worth it compared to jas? Was looking for something in the middle between the arma book and the scripture of ful
Wen is best for AOE, Jas is better single target damage. Jas book takes a % of your damage and adds it up over 8 seconds, then damages your current target with all stored damage, which can hit up to 30k (if enough damage is dealt). For single target encounters like kerapac/raksha, Jas is superior, but Wen would be good in arch glacor, clearing elite dungeons, any bosses with minions.
Do you even swap to asc cbow? Also, when do you use hydrix (e) bolts in here? I think I either missed out or you never used it. Would you suggest using hydrix bolts (e) for this guide at all?
I didn’t use them, I only have them there in case I need to swap to mh/shield, because I only have arrows in my quiver. I’ve since swapped to a strykebow as my shield swap for this so it frees up multiple switches for 1 incase I need a shield switch.
quick question, since this build evolves around poison, at 400 stacks, would switching to a wyvern crossbow and using say hydrix bolts for 25~ seconds be something worth doing? since it would add yet another type of poison to the mix, or are the posion stacks "bound" to the weapon being used?
I also havent tried ecb eof, but from what I’ve heard the ecb eof isn’t ideal to use with this build as it takes away the healing away from SS resulting in one less chance to proc poison from reaver per hit. Not saying it would be bad by any means though, it seems like ecb eof would be better in a build that uses reckless instead. Bik stacks at max easily makes poison hit 5k+, and taking chances from that, as opposed to enhancing it, might not be the best option. That’s my perception though, like I said I’ve never used ecb eof so I have no personal experience and could be completely wrong.
Super interesting strat. I was considering putting my ECB in an Eof and camping my blights until I've seen the popularity of bows right now. What are your thoughts on that all things considered?
I plan on upgrading to ecb eof as my next upgrade, so if you’re basically in my situation except with blights, I’d say a good option (if you wanted to make the swap) would be to sell blights and save for SGB. Otherwise your setup is good as is imo. If you want to go with bows then even Nox bow would work fine, SGB would be better thought due to the extra accuracy/damage and the spec though.

The 0’s are just lucky misses, debilitate and devo are the main abilities I use, I’ll snipe a res during Kera because it’s basically a 4-5k heal. I’ve upgraded to a strykebow so it doesn’t mess with positioning or require ammo swapping.

I insta bought it for 30m, darkbow was 2-3m. I mainly use it at a quick swap so you could get away with a lesser Caroming tier if you wanted to. Having it is pretty important though to upkeep bik stacks/Wen stacks.

Yes, shield specific defensive will clear when swapping off shield. Debilitate also lasts longer if used with a shield equipped, so I believe if you switch off shield after using debilitate with it, it’ll clear it as well. I’m not 100% sure on that last point though
You don't start with blackstone arrows for the 15% defense reduction? It doesn't really drop off an enemy unless they clear it. Kerapac does not through phases,
The black stone arrows effect isn’t needed for Kerapac since your accuracy is already high. Clones are the main concern, but wen arrows seem to do the job just fine and possibly better due to thresholds not only getting accuracy bonuses, but damage bonuses.
This probably lies within your rotation! Greater dazing shot is great in general, but it's not make or break it with this build. Grico is the one ability that makes a massive difference so if you have that, you should be able to pull similar dps. If you want, you can join my discord and post a VOD so I can see what you're doing and give you pointers, there's other folks in the discord who could have insightful information as well
I’ve heard it works just fine, the t95 bow would be best regardless I believe, but they thing to consider is that poison scales with your weapon tier, and even though hexhunter works on kerapac, the poison is still capped at t80 damage due to the level of the bow. You’d be favoring more power damage vs poison damage, when ideally this build is focused on dishing out high poison damage frequently. I haven’t tested it personally, but as I mentioned before I’ve heard it works well coming from a few friends who used Hexhunter as their bow. The idea of using it seems a bit counterintuitive, but the damage could more than make up for it.
using hex bow and ecb in eof i have only been abel to get as low as 4:13. not sure how to push this method below 4 min but great build dude. thanks for bringing this to my attention

@@RheyoRS il still trying to figure out the range combat style, I didn’t use it at all when it was meta. I was still meleeing back then. Then kerapac came out and I became a Mager only. So here’s my rotation, no clue if it’s good. My thinking is even in ds bleeds with ecb still best after grifo rapid and snap…. P1: ds, apot, grico, ECB EOF, walk combust, corruption, rapid fire, grico, snap (with 21s left), snipe, ECB EOF, walk combust, grico, corruption, dazing shot, walk as he lands and rapid, snap shot (end of ds) ecb eof, grico, (if you have enough adren dead shot ASAP so you get all hits and hopefully skip p1 lighting), combust mid air, corruption, dead shot, build to rapid fire and pray for p1 skip. I only get it about 20% of time. Usually he phases while lightning spawns which is annoying AF. Sometimes I spam blubbers and guthix rest to get healing procs and pray for extra poison, sometimes if high hp I use a dark bow and just start p2 low adrenaline and time warp under him instead of right away P2/p3: time warp, sunshine, grico, snipe, snap, walk under rapid, as rapid ends with 100% ECB EOF, grico, snap, rapid, kinda improvise from there based on his health. Usually 2nd ecb, bleeds including deadshot, bc I want snap rapid off cooldown for next phases. Important, for most of p3 I swap to wen arrows bc I haven’t tried keeping bik stacks on kerapac for p4. This is important bc you want to start with 15 stacks for echoes. P4: enter a clone, vuln bomb, 1 or 2 basics as you walk between two echoes, time warp sunshine, swap clone to last echo you will kill vitality pot, re-enter first clone, limitless, snap and rapid with 15 wen stacks, snap as time warp ends, first clone should be around 10k hp, turn to second clone, grico, snipe, deadshot, rapid, improvise as clones die, i swap to ascension and spirit shield (should mention wen arrows were a quiver swap and new quiver has hydrix bolts), surge diagonally, reflect, build to 100% resonance (when it’s safe so you can turn off mage prayer and get to full hp), vuln bomb , time warp sunshine, swap to hex, grico, snipe, limitless snap, devotion, make sure dark bow eof is on. As you exit time warp do what ever you have to for extended devotion. If that means dark bow do it kill second clone, vuln kera, improvise a bit depending on adren, but basically prioritize dark bow eof, and grico to build wen stacks then snap rapid. Spam eat blubber sand Guthix rests for poison procs and stay alive. I think if I time the few seconds to keep poison stacks during p4 I might get a sub 4 by melting kerapac last 200k hp

I havent done solo kerapac with hydrix/ruby, but I want to say that this build specifically may only be on par, but that depends on how easily you can get lightning skips with hydrix/ruby. My best kill time with this build is about 5:14 with lightning skips on phases 2 & 3 and minimal to no stalling. It’s also a very relaxed build, especially on clones with the extra 2 range which helps you keep rapid fire when warp time ends instead of ending it prematurely.
Would there be a big benefit to using hexbow at kerapac and arch glacor over the nox bow? :) I assume it can use the Bik arrows ofc. Sadly didnt realise that the sgb wont stack bik arrows
Hex bow can be good, but the poison damage scales with weapon tier. Although the damage output is higher against mage targets, the poison damage with hexhunter stays at t80. I haven’t personally tested this, but I imagine they’d be fairly similar, hexhunter may be a bit more reliable dps due to increased base damage? I’m not certain though.
Im fairly certain an sgb should make stacks. All ammoless bows can use ammo you have equipped (like attuned crystal bow using dbane arrows). Originally they wouldnt but a patch several years ago fixed that
Per kill it’s around 100 bik and about 35 Wen arrows using the rotation from this video. Per hour it comes out to about 700-900 depending on the amount of kills
I’ve heard it’s really good with this method, I think using it with Ful arrows can get you really solid times. A friend of mine upgraded to it and is getting sub 3:30’s.
Iv been stuck playing mobile sense I came back, and I feel like I'm missing something, kerapac just does so much damage too me in first phase I can't solo, even w same gear sgb, only difference in gizmo is enhanced devoted.
This would require weapon switches. You can if you feel the need to, but in my experience, killing the echos faster is better so Wen Arrows would do well.
Are you avoiding the “tear right through you” mechanic? If you spawn the storm clouds, they pulse typeless damage, and you have to kill them. If you phase him after you spawn one, it will show up for the remaining phases. The only other thing I can think of is that you’re using Ring of Death, the updated effect gives a bleed that lasts for 3 minutes for a total of 75k during its duration, as opposed to you dying. If your screen gets a white vignette while taking bleed damage, it’s the Ring of Death effect.
question I plan to upgrade my nox bow to sgb with perks p6a1 + e4r3 and have a wyvern crossbow to put c4 and some other perks for a grico swap. would it be better putting e4r3 or c4 (without equilibrium) on sgb?
Out of interest would it not be good to add a EZK with IGH into the mix as the bleed damage effects both soul split and vamp aura. So you have two chances to proc posin on every bleed hit? Also if you want to get really sweaty switching to wyvern crossbow adds another hit that can proc posin + if using emerald bolts additional poison hit splats.
I feel the adren cost may be too expensive, and I don’t think the damage from it wouldn’t be too worth since you’re using ranged gear. It’s worth a try though!
Like others have already said, I'd use Biks whenever the fight takes you longer than 2 Minutes and if the boss is poisonable. I think the move here would be to have Biks + Wens on your Pernix Quiver, maybe even Biks + Splintering arrows if you want to keep the constant hits and want access to a good threshold like Salt The Wound at Max Stacks. If you're leaning towards a DPS Build, Biks + Ful Arrows would be a better alternative, specially if you can get away with a DBow EOF or an SGB at a 5x5 Target. For more adren, you can even add Deathspores to the mix and use their proc to dump an EOF Spec or Incendiary Shot, maybe even get a free Death Swiftness! Personally, i have a Quiver with Ful + Deathspores for anything immune to poison and Slayer, and Bik + Wen Arrows on the other for Poisonable bosses and beefy mobs.

Yes, you put all 4 types on there and each grants a passive related to that boss front. You can over charge the ring by bringing a further 5k of each anima to Wahisietel (6k of each anima in total: 1k for first charge, 5k for the overcharge process) and it will make the ring upgrade completely passive so you can leave it in your bank.

Yes, but you’ll suffer from less poison damage since poison damage scales to weapon tier. Others say it works well or even better than nox though, but I’ve heard that the hexhunter bow passive boost doesn’t work on the echos of kerapac, I’ve not used a hex before but if that’s true then you’d have quite a lot of accuracy problems.
I haven’t tested it personally, but hex is t80 so the poison damage from hex procs at t80 damage as opposed to t90 when using nox bow. The damage modifiers from hex might make up for that difference, but I’ve also been told that the passive doesn’t work towards the echos in p4 either which already gives you accuracy issues with t90
@@RheyoRS I am used to it with cryptbloom. I have the exact same gear, I lack disruption shield. With this gear I get stacked killing the last minion at p4 while non stop eating. You seem to get a lot of devo proc from your perks so not sure.
Devo helps a lot but it doesn’t always work out. Make sure you either surge to the last location for the final minion, or use a shield + reflect. If you run there will be a lot of damage stacking once you reach the final location and it can 1 shot you, you can use res to heal of a hit as well, preferably time it for the green projectile as that’s from Kerapac himself and that one hits the hardest. It’s a pretty big difference as opposed to cryptbloom though so give it some practice!
If you’re doing bosses like ed3/raksha/kerapac, the arrows should put for themselves overtime, except with Kerapac your common drops make up for them completely, raksha drops 1-1.5m loot fairly often as well, but has some bad seed drops.
I’ll have to check the exact amount but I don’t think it’s quite 1m per kill. Averages I’ve been told are about 700-900 arrows/hr and God arrows in general max at around 3.5-4K each
But hey! At least you're partially immune to MTX Shenanigans, unless they add a 0.0001% rare cosmetic token that can be bought from the G.E. So I guess irons get that going for them :p
In edit mode, there’s an option called “boss health bar” or something along those lines, you can move it on screen where you’d like. I personally did it by unlocking my interface, grabbing target on a dummy in war’s retreat, and then clicking the lock icon on the target’s health bar. Once you do that, you can move it where you’d like, then relock your interface and it’ll stay there

Okay so this setup is sick, and I have an idea. According to the wiki, the upgraded bone blowpipe is aprox a 25% increase to poison damage because of the way it interacts with cinderbanes. Would you be able to test it on this setup at kerapac to see if its even better? So you stack up the bik arrows with your bow, and then switch to the blowpipe, and then swap to the bow once every 30 seconds to keep your stacks. I just wonder if it would be any better.
Also really enjoying binging this series and the maxing melee series while working 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I do know that this stack also works with emerald bak bolts. Which gives rougly an extra 600 poison damage to each grico splat.

Wen is best for AOE, Jas is better single target damage. Jas book takes a % of your damage and adds it up over 8 seconds, then damages your current target with all stored damage, which can hit up to 30k (if enough damage is dealt).
For single target encounters like kerapac/raksha, Jas is superior, but Wen would be good in arch glacor, clearing elite dungeons, any bosses with minions.

Do you even swap to asc cbow? Also, when do you use hydrix (e) bolts in here? I think I either missed out or you never used it. Would you suggest using hydrix bolts (e) for this guide at all?
I didn’t use them, I only have them there in case I need to swap to mh/shield, because I only have arrows in my quiver. I’ve since swapped to a strykebow as my shield swap for this so it frees up multiple switches for 1 incase I need a shield switch.

Correct, and I’m considering upgrading to this next. Decision is between sgb and ecb eof but sgb would work better with this build.
quick question, since this build evolves around poison, at 400 stacks, would switching to a wyvern crossbow and using say hydrix bolts for 25~ seconds be something worth doing? since it would add yet another type of poison to the mix, or are the posion stacks "bound" to the weapon being used?
They’re not bound and it might be a good idea, it could be better to use Emeral bolts as well. I havent tried this personally though.

I also havent tried ecb eof, but from what I’ve heard the ecb eof isn’t ideal to use with this build as it takes away the healing away from SS resulting in one less chance to proc poison from reaver per hit. Not saying it would be bad by any means though, it seems like ecb eof would be better in a build that uses reckless instead. Bik stacks at max easily makes poison hit 5k+, and taking chances from that, as opposed to enhancing it, might not be the best option.
That’s my perception though, like I said I’ve never used ecb eof so I have no personal experience and could be completely wrong.
Should use black crystal (reduced healing) so you’ll almost never be at full health

Super interesting strat. I was considering putting my ECB in an Eof and camping my blights until I've seen the popularity of bows right now. What are your thoughts on that all things considered?
I plan on upgrading to ecb eof as my next upgrade, so if you’re basically in my situation except with blights, I’d say a good option (if you wanted to make the swap) would be to sell blights and save for SGB. Otherwise your setup is good as is imo. If you want to go with bows then even Nox bow would work fine, SGB would be better thought due to the extra accuracy/damage and the spec though.

I get to p4 easy but its p4 that gets me. What other defensives can I use without shield? I saw you tanked 2 hits towards the end of the kill with soulsplit on and didn't take any damage was that something? thanks
The 0’s are just lucky misses, debilitate and devo are the main abilities I use, I’ll snipe a res during Kera because it’s basically a 4-5k heal. I’ve upgraded to a strykebow so it doesn’t mess with positioning or require ammo swapping.

I insta bought it for 30m, darkbow was 2-3m. I mainly use it at a quick swap so you could get away with a lesser Caroming tier if you wanted to. Having it is pretty important though to upkeep bik stacks/Wen stacks.

Yes, shield specific defensive will clear when swapping off shield. Debilitate also lasts longer if used with a shield equipped, so I believe if you switch off shield after using debilitate with it, it’ll clear it as well. I’m not 100% sure on that last point though
You don't start with blackstone arrows for the 15% defense reduction? It doesn't really drop off an enemy unless they clear it. Kerapac does not through phases,
The black stone arrows effect isn’t needed for Kerapac since your accuracy is already high. Clones are the main concern, but wen arrows seem to do the job just fine and possibly better due to thresholds not only getting accuracy bonuses, but damage bonuses.

This probably lies within your rotation! Greater dazing shot is great in general, but it's not make or break it with this build. Grico is the one ability that makes a massive difference so if you have that, you should be able to pull similar dps.

Do you how good the hexhunter bow would be here with this method? Would it be better than SGB or the T95 bow?
I’ve heard it works just fine, the t95 bow would be best regardless I believe, but they thing to consider is that poison scales with your weapon tier, and even though hexhunter works on kerapac, the poison is still capped at t80 damage due to the level of the bow. You’d be favoring more power damage vs poison damage, when ideally this build is focused on dishing out high poison damage frequently.
I haven’t tested it personally, but as I mentioned before I’ve heard it works well coming from a few friends who used Hexhunter as their bow. The idea of using it seems a bit counterintuitive, but the damage could more than make up for it.
using hex bow and ecb in eof i have only been abel to get as low as 4:13. not sure how to push this method below 4 min but great build dude. thanks for bringing this to my attention

@@RheyoRS il still trying to figure out the range combat style, I didn’t use it at all when it was meta. I was still meleeing back then. Then kerapac came out and I became a Mager only. So here’s my rotation, no clue if it’s good. My thinking is even in ds bleeds with ecb still best after grifo rapid and snap….
P1: ds, apot, grico, ECB EOF, walk combust, corruption, rapid fire, grico, snap (with 21s left), snipe, ECB EOF, walk combust, grico, corruption, dazing shot, walk as he lands and rapid, snap shot (end of ds) ecb eof, grico, (if you have enough adren dead shot ASAP so you get all hits and hopefully skip p1 lighting), combust mid air, corruption, dead shot, build to rapid fire and pray for p1 skip. I only get it about 20% of time. Usually he phases while lightning spawns which is annoying AF. Sometimes I spam blubbers and guthix rest to get healing procs and pray for extra poison, sometimes if high hp I use a dark bow and just start p2 low adrenaline and time warp under him instead of right away
P2/p3: time warp, sunshine, grico, snipe, snap, walk under rapid, as rapid ends with 100% ECB EOF, grico, snap, rapid, kinda improvise from there based on his health. Usually 2nd ecb, bleeds including deadshot, bc I want snap rapid off cooldown for next phases.
Important, for most of p3 I swap to wen arrows bc I haven’t tried keeping bik stacks on kerapac for p4. This is important bc you want to start with 15 stacks for echoes.
P4: enter a clone, vuln bomb, 1 or 2 basics as you walk between two echoes, time warp sunshine, swap clone to last echo you will kill vitality pot, re-enter first clone, limitless, snap and rapid with 15 wen stacks, snap as time warp ends, first clone should be around 10k hp, turn to second clone, grico, snipe, deadshot, rapid, improvise as clones die, i swap to ascension and spirit shield (should mention wen arrows were a quiver swap and new quiver has hydrix bolts), surge diagonally, reflect, build to 100% resonance (when it’s safe so you can turn off mage prayer and get to full hp), vuln bomb , time warp sunshine, swap to hex, grico, snipe, limitless snap, devotion, make sure dark bow eof is on. As you exit time warp do what ever you have to for extended devotion. If that means dark bow do it kill second clone, vuln kera, improvise a bit depending on adren, but basically prioritize dark bow eof, and grico to build wen stacks then snap rapid. Spam eat blubber sand Guthix rests for poison procs and stay alive.
I think if I time the few seconds to keep poison stacks during p4 I might get a sub 4 by melting kerapac last 200k hp

Would you say this is an upgrade over Hydrix/ruby Bak bolts when doing solo Kerapac or is it only on par?
I havent done solo kerapac with hydrix/ruby, but I want to say that this build specifically may only be on par, but that depends on how easily you can get lightning skips with hydrix/ruby. My best kill time with this build is about 5:14 with lightning skips on phases 2 & 3 and minimal to no stalling. It’s also a very relaxed build, especially on clones with the extra 2 range which helps you keep rapid fire when warp time ends instead of ending it prematurely.
Would there be a big benefit to using hexbow at kerapac and arch glacor over the nox bow? :) I assume it can use the Bik arrows ofc.

Hex bow can be good, but the poison damage scales with weapon tier. Although the damage output is higher against mage targets, the poison damage with hexhunter stays at t80. I haven’t personally tested this, but I imagine they’d be fairly similar, hexhunter may be a bit more reliable dps due to increased base damage? I’m not certain though.

Im fairly certain an sgb should make stacks. All ammoless bows can use ammo you have equipped (like attuned crystal bow using dbane arrows). Originally they wouldnt but a patch several years ago fixed that

Per kill it’s around 100 bik and about 35 Wen arrows using the rotation from this video. Per hour it comes out to about 700-900 depending on the amount of kills

I’ve heard it’s really good with this method, I think using it with Ful arrows can get you really solid times. A friend of mine upgraded to it and is getting sub 3:30’s.

Iv been stuck playing mobile sense I came back, and I feel like I'm missing something, kerapac just does so much damage too me in first phase I can't solo, even w same gear sgb, only difference in gizmo is enhanced devoted.

This would require weapon switches. You can if you feel the need to, but in my experience, killing the echos faster is better so Wen Arrows would do well.

Are you avoiding the “tear right through you” mechanic? If you spawn the storm clouds, they pulse typeless damage, and you have to kill them. If you phase him after you spawn one, it will show up for the remaining phases.
The only other thing I can think of is that you’re using Ring of Death, the updated effect gives a bleed that lasts for 3 minutes for a total of 75k during its duration, as opposed to you dying. If your screen gets a white vignette while taking bleed damage, it’s the Ring of Death effect.

Out of interest would it not be good to add a EZK with IGH into the mix as the bleed damage effects both soul split and vamp aura. So you have two chances to proc posin on every bleed hit?
Also if you want to get really sweaty switching to wyvern crossbow adds another hit that can proc posin + if using emerald bolts additional poison hit splats.
I feel the adren cost may be too expensive, and I don’t think the damage from it wouldn’t be too worth since you’re using ranged gear. It’s worth a try though!

Solak is prob the best.
Like others have already said, I'd use Biks whenever the fight takes you longer than 2 Minutes and if the boss is poisonable.
I think the move here would be to have Biks + Wens on your Pernix Quiver, maybe even Biks + Splintering arrows if you want to keep the constant hits and want access to a good threshold like Salt The Wound at Max Stacks.
If you're leaning towards a DPS Build, Biks + Ful Arrows would be a better alternative, specially if you can get away with a DBow EOF or an SGB at a 5x5 Target.
For more adren, you can even add Deathspores to the mix and use their proc to dump an EOF Spec or Incendiary Shot, maybe even get a free Death Swiftness!
Personally, i have a Quiver with Ful + Deathspores for anything immune to poison and Slayer, and Bik + Wen Arrows on the other for Poisonable bosses and beefy mobs.

Every time you kill a target while it’s active, it’ll increase in duration. This can be done 3 times max.

When you unlock the pontifex shadow ring, upgrade it with Jas anima and it will allow you to avoid the stun

Yes, you put all 4 types on there and each grants a passive related to that boss front. You can over charge the ring by bringing a further 5k of each anima to Wahisietel (6k of each anima in total: 1k for first charge, 5k for the overcharge process) and it will make the ring upgrade completely passive so you can leave it in your bank.

It’ll take time if you’re still learning HM Kerapac. P4 itself took me about 10-11 hours before I got my first kill.

Does it work with hexhunter bow?
Yes, but you’ll suffer from less poison damage since poison damage scales to weapon tier. Others say it works well or even better than nox though, but I’ve heard that the hexhunter bow passive boost doesn’t work on the echos of kerapac, I’ve not used a hex before but if that’s true then you’d have quite a lot of accuracy problems.
What setting makes the damage look like that?
In combat settings -> hitsplats, I use the legacy hitsplats.

I haven’t tested it personally, but hex is t80 so the poison damage from hex procs at t80 damage as opposed to t90 when using nox bow. The damage modifiers from hex might make up for that difference, but I’ve also been told that the passive doesn’t work towards the echos in p4 either which already gives you accuracy issues with t90

Grico is a pretty strong portion of this build, I don’t think it’s impossible, but it’s much more difficult without

I have the exact same gear, I lack disruption shield. With this gear I get stacked killing the last minion at p4 while non stop eating. You seem to get a lot of devo proc from your perks so not sure.
Devo helps a lot but it doesn’t always work out. Make sure you either surge to the last location for the final minion, or use a shield + reflect. If you run there will be a lot of damage stacking once you reach the final location and it can 1 shot you, you can use res to heal of a hit as well, preferably time it for the green projectile as that’s from Kerapac himself and that one hits the hardest.
It’s a pretty big difference as opposed to cryptbloom though so give it some practice!

How do afford using those arrows ..
If you’re doing bosses like ed3/raksha/kerapac, the arrows should put for themselves overtime, except with Kerapac your common drops make up for them completely, raksha drops 1-1.5m loot fairly often as well, but has some bad seed drops.

I’ll have to check the exact amount but I don’t think it’s quite 1m per kill. Averages I’ve been told are about 700-900 arrows/hr and God arrows in general max at around 3.5-4K each
Just tested in a kill and it came out to about 425k, used about 100 bik arrows and 36 Wen arrows.

how do you keep the monster debuff down on the screen?
In edit mode, there’s an option called “boss health bar” or something along those lines, you can move it on screen where you’d like. I personally did it by unlocking my interface, grabbing target on a dummy in war’s retreat, and then clicking the lock icon on the target’s health bar. Once you do that, you can move it where you’d like, then relock your interface and it’ll stay there
