That was fun. Fried bologna (boloney) sandwiches are a fav from childhood. I mix my Miracle Whip Salad dressing and mustard together, though. Ohh, I love them. I don't eat them very often but when I get hungry for one, every now and then, it always brings me joy to eat it!

Sauteed mortadella is delicious, you can do the same with a lot of deli staples. Sauteed kabana slices are a tasty bacon substitute in pasta etc. love the vibe for these. And Andy stay strong mate.

What's crazy is a couple of videos ago I asked about if Andy had any celebrity chef inspirations, and mentioned Tony Bourdain was mine - and here we are with Tony's favourite sandwich! Definitely one of my favourites as well, though I often add some pepper and a nice onion jam as well. If you're doing pop-ups, love to see you come to Adelaide. A friend of mine and I are huge foodies and eat our way around Adelaide once restaurant at a time so an Andy pop-up experience would be wonderful.

Our family Christmas lunch is griddled maple smoked gammon and cheese with 2 or 3 picles and 2 or 3 salads. No roasting anything No hours and hours of work in the kitchen Just tons and tons of family time.
Love this videos so much, but have to say that in Aus, you can get Devon and mortadella and they’re different. Devon and luncheon, same thing I’m pretty sure, no idea about bologne though.
Finns do this leftover dessert called "Runenbergintorttu" (Runenberg's tarts) I believe in early February - they are cute little cakes/tarts made with leftover Christmas cookies and jam. Pretty tasty
Mortadella is made with high quality pork ,and often includes pistachios , olives , or truffles . Bologna is a meat mix ( usually pork and beef ) and usually doesn't have anything in it . They're made the same way but different ingredients .
Awesome recipes, going to have to try that sandwich, the chocolate balls look amazing as well, I'm not a fan of Cherry Ripe, so I might break up a Picnic Bar and use pieces of that. Got paid on friday and this video reminded me you should have the proteine press back in stock. Well I ordered one, a scraper and an apron. Finally able to get it, super happy to get it. Years ago around Nth Melbourne and Queen Vic Market area the old style Italian Coffee lounges full of blokes playing cards would offer the same sandwhich, the only option was hot or cold, and they were delicious. They all had the same crusty rolls that you just couldn't buy.

Our family Christmas lunch is griddled maple smoked gammon and cheese with 2 or 3 picles and 2 or 3 salads.
No roasting anything
No hours and hours of work in the kitchen
Just tons and tons of family time.

Can confirm in UK in the 80s / 90s it was definitely “a breville” to mean a toastie. Kids were sent off to uni with their own breville.
Finns do this leftover dessert called "Runenbergintorttu" (Runenberg's tarts) I believe in early February - they are cute little cakes/tarts made with leftover Christmas cookies and jam. Pretty tasty
Mortadella is made with high quality pork ,and often includes pistachios , olives , or truffles . Bologna is a meat mix ( usually pork and beef ) and usually doesn't have anything in it .
They're made the same way but different ingredients .

Years ago around Nth Melbourne and Queen Vic Market area the old style Italian Coffee lounges full of blokes playing cards would offer the same sandwhich, the only option was hot or cold, and they were delicious. They all had the same crusty rolls that you just couldn't buy.
