I have a problem with mine leaking. but when i was goign to order the housing it says heater Hoses needs to be 2009 and newer this is a 2008 dodge avenger so i am not sure.
is there a coolant bleeder valve anywhere on this car? im having trouble figuring that out. i just replaced both thermostats and need to add coolant but i dont want to have air in the system
Hi! I used red high temp grease for o-ring and Permatex Ultra Grey RTV Silicone Gasket Maker, for the openings. I like to add a little bit of silicone becausr sometimes surface is not smooth.
Wouldn’t aluminum thermostat housing work better then plastic?

2008 through 2014 they use same heater hoses . When you squeeze heater hose they feel soft or hard ?

It doesn’t have one you need to use a coolant funnel to bleed air out
Thanks for the video
Our pleasure!
Why did you replace the housing m? Was it broken?
Hi, it was broken 👍
What did you put on the openings before install?

I think you have bigger problems than that thermostat housing. Judging by the color of the coolant and oil coming off the mounting bolts
Hi .I don’t have any problems at all . Car runs perfect. Coolant color is because I added radiator stop leak before fixing the housing. 😅
