Developer don't understand people that are expertise 26 they invested into those gear sets and weapons nerfing them it's show that developers don't care about their hardcore fans division 2 is 6 years old game and developers are still doing Nerfs and Buffs they haven't figure out that yet there is nothing new in the game we are still doing old missions again and again we got 2 Raids in 6 years and then on top of the Nerfs it's crazy I just hope all the RUclipsr who still play this game and Community speaks up it's not right.
The problem with the striker Nerf and others is that people put many exotic components, resources, and materials into those items. When the Devs come in with Nerf gear and guns, they forget about the players who have grind for resources, not to mention the time it takes to level up a gear. They are not nerfing the gear or gun because it is too strong; they are nerfing it because they want you to grind and play the game differently than before, so it seems fresh. This happens when they devs don't play there on game. They keep doing this season after season its a cycle. In all when they nerf gear and guns making them no longer vivible in the game it gets fans or players who have worked and played the game upset and just feels like a slap in the face because the time and resources and worst still the joy from players having accomplish maxing gear and guns thatkeeps them coming to the game.
Exactly why the Devs wanted to add Seasonal Characters, with separate gear , watch and weapons.
So they wouldn’t have had to of nerfed anything .
Probably shouldn’t have followed the Content Creators who didn’t want seasonal Characters.
Continue the uproar. What was the purpose of nerfing the MP7? It's not even a meta weapon. They just woke up and chose violence because the vets didn't want seasonal characters

the scorpio was the most drastic for no reason. Now it requires a reload & more shots in order to get shock… basically makes it worthless. I’ll be replacing it with the 870 or mop on all of my builds

Because they ran out of ideas and money, so they nerf items thinking you will try something else that is already in the game.
Ermm, because of balancing and the problems the expertise system has caused throughout the whole game (PVE and PVP)

Nerfing the best and buffing the rest is not the way to improve a game. Ubisoft should look for ways to make player skills and game style the most important thing in the game. Instead, they continue to focus on gear. So many gear/weapon changes at once tells me that they have been ignoring balancing needs for a long time and suddenly think they can "fix" the game. BS

what i dont understand is the nerf to ouroboros, i know that is one of best weapons but thats the idea, its a good chase item, its meant to be good as a reward for farming the incursion, and making people want to play that content

P416 got a RPM buff which means EB got an RPM buff.
The Scorpio nerf is the one I was most concerned about. By the time you proc the extra team weapon damage in a full group, even the heaviest enemies are already dead or dying. With the new proc requirements, I'd suggest maybe changing mag size from 7 to 12. Then at least you'd have a chance to fully proc before needing to reload.
Seriously how many people globally still play this game??? These nerfs are unwanted and unwarranted and will Seriously quit an already declining player base
It's Saturday evening and I just checked with steamcharts. The Division2 is currently ranked 310 with 2,121 players. The game PowerWash Simulator game is currently ranked 300 with 2,241 players. So, a game that literally simulates washing dirt off of various objects, with a power washer, has more player then the game the devs can't seen to stop f'ing with. 🙄😅

Fun fact, in current PTS Invisible hand is stronger with striker than Elmo (if you choose right mods).

I'm not concerned about the nerf. They're big tech. Ofcourse they're gonna nerf. They're like blizzard.
But 30% nerf is big. Especially for countdown. Often times, 8 folks are running striker. So that's a 240% nerf total. So I'm wondering how it will do in Countdown, now.
Oreo shouldn't haven't been nerfed, period. The talent is completely useless. So now, with the nerf, all it is is what the vector used to be. Just without a talent. Scorpio should've only been changed for pvp. Even for pve, it wasn't that OP. Considering it usually only proced shock 1 time on the same enemy. Now it's going to be useless again Hunters, which is why they did it. Most folks just ran Elmo anyway. So that nerf wasn't needed at all.
For Elmo, they nerfed that big time. Mods didn't even get buffed. They nerfed the mods. I think at the VERY MOST, since they're nerfing, was just nerf it by 10 rounds.
Big corporations aren't about their customers. They're just going to do whatever the hell they want to do. And what is the point of the modifiers? Is there any point in playing with them on? Or is it just a useless feature??? I haven't heard what modifiers do as far as increased xp, better loot or drop rates, etc. Just that it makes the game, well, boring, in my opinion.
Bighorn needed a buff. So did Bullet King. They got it, big ones too, whether it will make it a difference or not, that has yet to be tested.

Totally agree with you kami. Not a good business move. Give players what they like. Happy customer is the easiest way to go.
Nobody should leave the game or get too angry at this nerf, but at the same time not everyone Striker's player uses that setup as their go-to build; they just like to clear certain areas real fast and it was a very reliable method.
The devs get upset because players find what they like and don't want to touch the new because they are horrible
I think the devs will listen to feedbacks about the balancing just like Seasonal Characters.
Don’t forget a group could end up with three Buff modifiers, to compensate for the nerfs.
I’m going back to rifles now they are finally going to be viable, well until PVP complain about being shot from across the map.

This is why I hate online games. I am pretty sure I will hate the change and once I confirm my suspicion Division 2 is getting uninstalled and I wont buy any games made by this developer.
Well, they can nerf the game...or basically that is what I am doing. kind of tired of the weird changes and lack of answers. Div 1 has been my joy lately, guess what, their not nerfin" anything there. And its actually more fun, and more challenging. Lets give all the new people participation trophies. Why have we been grinding, when all they do is take away what we have worked so hard to get? F them.

There really is no point in continuing to play this game if they're going to nerf the builds we've spent months upgrading & perfecting.
None of the nerfs are necessary. They were already hemorrhaging players & if they choose to go live with the nerfs they'll piss off half of the remaining player base. I'll uninstall if they do & I say this as someone who is a legit 40k SHD lvl.
They nerfed all player favorites in Helldivers as well and lost 90% of the playerbase
hey kami question when you buy his cache from the vendor where the exotics are for the ouroborus and the eagle bearer and you upgrade them and you put them in your stash do you lose them when the pts is done when you start up dv2 normally and When you open your stash you lose them and your expertise drops back to, for example, from 27 back to 15 and you also lose your weapons, for example the named weapons and the PVP exclusive that you could buy from the vendor in the named caches and put them in your stash stash have you lost this too then when the pts is over please send a return answer thank you agent bertenvanhamme peace out

The dev wants us to use a variety of stuff.... well, maybe if we didn't have to fight bullet sponges then it be fun to use other set. Tip of the spear looks fun but useless, with out speical ammo it's a dead set. The flame turret one, not enough benifit to make it usable, then turret on cooldown dead set
We grind so hard. And spend alot of time getting this stuff. And they changed it. 😔
That nerf on Striker isnt all that bad; how often are you at max (200) stacks? Maybe in the raids or incursions. Even with that though you get a good support build in there and the bosses are still dying in 2 seconds.
Heartbreakers is interesting, but I don’t use the BP in my strikers build so that’s lucky 😅

All these nerfs are a sure fire way to stop people having interest in the game who have put thousands of hours in... They absolutely hate players feeling powerful in the Division 2, I would understand the desperate attempts at balancing if this was a more heavily focused or solely PVP focused game, but it is, for the most part a PVE game that has PVP in it... I liked the idea of balance from a game like Battlefield 1, basically if everything is broken then nothing is broken 😂

I don't use the striker backpack anyway I use the Memento and The St Elmo's Engine okay a small Magazine Size 70 to 60 Not That big a Deal. I get it yes you want bigger Mag Size but I thought the Big Nerf was that they was going to change the amount of damage you would be doing like if you Maxed Out the gun I don't know what it is Maxed lets say it's 101.9K and they change it to 80.8K Now that would be a Big Nerf.

Well To be honest, i'm definitely out! Div2 is getting worse and worse, i'm going to enjoy my classified tactician build in div1! I want to relax becuz i'm just a pve player and bullets and weapons are spongy already which already F^dup so i'm no longer interested in this game now!
I've been playing since 2018 but i'm not enjoying the game anymore it's just repetitive and heroic missions with all directives is a pain with spongy weapons 👎🏽
Easy put: ignore all those hours, resources and exotics invested and bring it back to 0 expertise. LOL I don't know what these guys have inside their heads, if something.

But a combination of damage and survivability is where Heartbreaker shines. Now it outshines the pure damage of Striker.
