If you've played "Ghost Recon: Breakpoint", you'll play through a mission called "Amber Sky". The compound in "Amber Sky" looks exactly like the amber gas in Silver Creek. They coughed a lot in "Amber Sky" too... ;)

There may be a split in hunters loyalty by type, they were exposed to viper and Lau who were given the info keener had on him. We may be working with those hunters and keener to fight the Kabal.
Truthfully I read the situation differently; listening to the comms the agent talking to McManus says he just hid the hunter roster usb drive in his bunk hiding it out in the open he said I believe. So I don't think the usb is a trap for Melanie Hoskins or Keener because in the comms it sounds like the agent was just finishing wiping the drive, then meeting the team and then heading out of town. All this was as Hoskins was just getting too the area and not even in town. I think they planned on being gone before Hoskins got into town. Also the agent talking to McManus in the comm was the Hunter that got activated to go there. I think its more likely they messed around in a lab, got caught in the green poison variant that is shown floating through Silver Creek. So I think it's just bad luck they exposed themselves and their antivirals couldn't take it.
The Division 2 lore reminds me of the Pepe Silva mailroom conspiracy from IASIP.
Curious what's with Agent Zabala and the General Grievous cough...either it was an odd throw in with a purpose, or a goof while recording they didn't edit out...

Hey Kami, for the coms, are you only able to get one a week? Or more than 1? I’ve only just started being able to beat the nemesis, in the first run this week I got one, then made it to loop 20 (my best) before the game crashed, but only got the 1 com. I then ran it today, beat the nemesis against and got to loop 10 before dying and no com.. so curious just how to get the damn things..
You use to be able to farm it after your weekly one. And get the ones missing till that point. But for some odd reason. Which I'm pretty sure I know why cause this was just done recently. U have to wait for it weekly now from my understanding.

Look for targeted loot that's dropping a mask that's the best way to get it or do Summit or Countdown an set Mask as your targeted loot.
It might take a few runs but it will drop.
