I was very excited to find this interview with Michael Talbot. His book, "The Holographic Universe" changed my life. It's sad that he left us physically at so young an age.

His book is a great breakthrough. I read it many years ago. Michael Talbot pulled so much evidence together, connecting science and spirituality, and was way ahead of his time. This is a great interview and it's wonderful to see him here. He passed away so young, age 38 from Leukemia, but thankfully left his mark.

@Mebrice Depace Something to do with the 9,11 Illuminati theory. I read something about it. Michael Talbots last book released in 1991 theres a 9 and 11 in there. Then he dies in 1992, 9+2=11... then lastly he die at the age of 38 3+8=11
ya some weird coincidence's in there... or not? I dont know, like I said I read the conspiracy briefly and im sure I am leaving out a lot. If you are curious just look that stuff up i guess. Regardless of that. He is still an awesome person that helped my second awakening to the world again. Love him.

Hi public school teacher here and appreciator of all things interesting. While I understand this sentiment please understand we prepare kids for the world that is, not the one we wish it was. I try to introduce ideas like this when it seems appropriate but more importantly I focus on preparing children to make a life for themselves. Basic algebra, literacy and such are far more important than touching on the nature of reality when dealing with 12 year olds. Just food for thought for those who think since this isn’t what’s being taught we should fill the world with illiterate children and cancel school.

Ohh...neato! I'm 30 now, but I remember when this guy's book came out in the early 90s or so...the Holographic Universe. I was probably only 14 or 15, but I remember devouring that book. At that time, it was the first book I had ever encountered that delved into such heady metaphysical subject matter. It blew my mind. At 15, I had zero awareness of any existential questions or ideas. This book opened that door in my mind...and led me on a long fascinating bewildering path of further learning. :)

We live in a 3d solid hologram a sologram. It's centrally located inside of a five dimensional Torus called the universe. The opposing motions of each vortex generate solidity- . If the rotation stops, the solidity- will vanish . Each vortex is spiraling a trillion trillion times per second in the opposite direction. Much like the blades of a fan in a way that turn so fast it seems solid when in fact it's just a single thin blade. If it spins too fast it will be too fast to see and vanish from our ability to see it . Too slow and we only see the single blade. This is the best analogy I have . It's only an analogy. It's all positive energy that generates negative matter . Positive energy has no mass or wavelenth or sound smell or reflection . It generates all of these by positve outwards and negative inwards motions simultaneously in opposition to each other . Importance determines solidity- . If it doesn't matter, it's not important but when it is important, everything about it matters and from there we get the term matter. Matter is stuck solid round and black with gravity pulling inwards from all sides 360 degrees.

I saw a person or spirit so i tought it was Jesus but many more around him. I felt one with everything and I knew for a fact that when we die, We All See the Light. And felt i knew what love was.. The next day at school I wore all white and felt a white light around me. I could tell i was alone in my experience looking in other peoples eyes...I couldn't wait for night to fall asleep and see if it could happen again. After that I felt awake while sleeping and for months I experienced flying in my sleep and being guided to a what seemed a library in the clouds..

Synchronicity was coined by psychologist Carl Jung. Consciously or unconsciously, we are synced up with the whole. We "see" this in a holographic universe. This should say we think on a level that is not physical. We are not meatheads. Our brains are more automatic. We don't think about breathing.
All of this occurred to me when I hit rock bottom. My thinking process went into low gear; that is, I needed a lot power to clime the hill. The hill was the Federal tax collector. It had the notion that the law allowed it to tax me out of existence. It had already taxed me out of business. Holographically, we are like one fish seen from different angles. I'm the fish.
The makers and keepers of the law didn't see me that way. I took their record to a reporter for the Palm Beach Post, who saw me as the fish. With the record in hand, he confronted the tax collector. The tax collector admitted that it was mistaken. It must have occurred to the authorities to make an exception. One exception led to another, and another.
What if everyone thought of themselves as the fish? It really is mind over matter. Reality is what we make it.

it's like if you hold your breath, you can't hold it too long because "life" takes over and starts breathing again. that's why many chinese or zen masters teach you to just be one with the breath. if you listen and are aware of your breath, you are in harmony with mind, body, and spirit.

I found Talbot’s breakthrough Book at a yard sale long ago and didn’t read it until 2009 or so just as I was personally discovering the phenomenon of Astral Projection, Remote Viewing, Lucid Dreaming, etc. It was a pure synchronicity that I happened to pick his Book up to read at the same time as my own consciousness breakthrough, as well as the same time I discovered the works and life of Nikola Tesla. There’s much more I could recount regarding my own discovery of my psi capabilities. My primary question is this: Why have these unknown, dormant and inconceivable powers inherent in all of us been mostly inactive or perhaps deliberately hidden from us?

Boo Radley ((they)) want is dumbed down, asleep, controllable, producing and working for their benefit. But the Great Awakening is here, Boo. The internet made it possible. Maybe that’s why they are in a hurry to start a war, a crisis, many distractions. Imagine millions of people waking up to potential, to freedom. Peace and healing are not a “good business plan” as a recent Goldman Sachs report says. Plan accordingly.

The image corresponds to the thoughts. The universe responds to our thoughts. Its mind blowing once you start to notice it, it seems to communicate with you through images and events. Yet it does seem to have two ways about it, because it can cause dellusion if it is followed outside of facts and evidence. The experience must be contained in truth, otherwise your mind will take on an emotional dellusion and you will begin to see what you want to see instead of what there really is, which can be hard to accept.

"Thinking Allowed" was my favorite show decades ago. They just explained the dual-slit experiment. The interference pattern is always there. That's why they can shoot one electron at a time and still get the interference pattern. I've thought the interference pattern was there first. I was thinking it was in the medium. When the electro magnetic field (light= longitudinal perturbations= photons, electrons, buckyballs, ...), hits the interference pattern becomes the picture (Johnny Carson= photons, electrons, buckyballs, ...). I've been thinking the ether (dielectric inertia) that is everywhere in the Universe. Was created (hyperboloid and toroid) when the larmor frequency happened to Our Universe. Giving our frequency, to our part of The Universe. The quantum eraser experiment is like Talbot said the electron (fish) was split, but it was still connected. Guessing this is what John Wheeler meant when he said the Universe only had one electron. We have a field around us, that was there before our matter. That our mind interacts with to create reality.

I like how the presenter admits he didn't really understand the physics explanations. Too many people feel compelled to hide when something is out of their leauge to comprehend, whereas it's only natural. We can't know everything. This doesn't make anyone stupid. If anything, questions and requests for clarification can help create better communication. I respect this fellow for being honest. This is only a side note though, the whole conversation is very captivating.

Each cut piece of the hologram will show the scene from its own angle... You can look at a hologram through a microscope and see incredibly fine details since the medium's roughness does not matter since the signal is on top of it so to speak. The resolution of light itself is what you get.

@SuperUKPoet I have to tell you, this conversation - and the assumptions of it - lead to a much deeper understanding of the universe, than most mechanistic "bottom-up" scientific views offer, which are superfluous and taught today as orthodox dogmas, all over the world. Answer for the second question is definitely yes. It helps one to look at the world with different eyes, open mind, making one realize the infinite potential in all of us, and that all separateness is an illusion.

Bunny Thesheets Bunny, how fortunate you were to meet this most fascinating man with this incredible mind. I do believe he is a most unique being. I don’t believe I have ever heard anyone that captivated my attention as this man with his mind that I have ever experienced the likes of. Intelligence is not even a quality I would use to try and describe this man. He is so much more than that. He left us to soon but wherever Michael is I am sure it is a better place with his soul, mind and spirit. I can only hope that some time in the future I cross paths with him on my cosmic journey. WOW. Peace and love Bunny from New Hampshire.
