Hey Larry! Nice vintage boat! A little cleaning and TLC and she’ll be ready to rock and roll again! Stuff was so much better made back then! I’m anxious to find out what year it is. Stay safe! ~Jim~
Nice boat Larry. Something you might think about: keep your propane tank. Make sure the valve is in good shape, turn it off, fill the tank, and let it sit. Thirty years from now, it will still be good. A good backup.
Those kind of boats are all over down here. I just got rid of a 1973 14' flat bottom jon boat. Learned my lesson, it was a hole in the water I throw money into. lol.
I like it! There's a similar looking one tucked behind a house near me that I can just barely see when I drive by, and I always think, "Maybe they want someone to take that off their hands..." But I really don't need any more broken down projects until I clear a couple out of the yard!
I love your channel! 💜 California is so difficult for their red tape. 🙄 but it’s so nice! She’s a pretty girl with that paint. I have no title too, what a mess. I hope you have lots of fun with her💜free is for me real nice score!!
If it's free it's for me... That thing is really cool, maybe do an electric conversion. I was watching your 5 year anniversary show the other day, I was very impressed on your property and how you scrounged up the down payment
That is a really neat boat. Do you plan to fish with it? And from my knowledge, most lakes will allow two-stroke boats unless it is in a recreational area.
Yes I plan on fishing with it. And I do have a 4 stroke Evenrude that runs. And it's more powerful so I may put that on there but we'll get this one running first.
@@mobiltec most boats do but I think they may not have in the 60s. Does it have the registration? Down here we can buy all the vintage trailers we want without titles but a boat without a registration is just scrap.
@@aslmx1918 In Nevada you don't need any paperwork at all to register a boat. But the trailer is another thing. I will either have to do what is known as a BOND title or run it through my friends in CA first.
@@mobiltec that’s good. I don’t know why they are so picky about boats that are even less than $1000 here. But they are. I won’t even look at one without a current registration
I don't know anything about boats, but I like the color, and I like the price! Good idea about the grill.
That hydro swift is epic! Nice find

I actually planned on keeping it. Good back up and perhaps it may take a trip to another property...

I know.... But my helper is a mechanic who knows outboard motors... And this thing floats.

What you need Conan is a bigger yard. Perhaps it's time to start looking for a place like mine?
Nice little addition for the Blazer!
Oh you got that right.
nice place larry and awesome to have so much room and the best part is you own it bud...Cheers
Larry that is a nice small boat. Perfect for a lake. Have fun with another project.

Nice find...5 years from now "Another vintage boat find!"
I'm thinking Vintage Motor Home....
Nice, Larry! You lucky dog..
Just gotta keep yer eyes open...
Looks a lot like the old 64 Glaspar my brother and I restored and took to a couple vintage boat rallies.

Yep to this day It's hard for me to believe how everything just fell into place at once. Nothing like that has ever happened in my life before.
score!
You betcha..
Cute lil boat!
I had a faduglas 14ft i loved it!
Cool boat! Maybe lahonten lets 2 strokes
They might. But like I said I have a 50 hp 4 stroke that I would like to put on it. This two stroke is 30.
That thing is sweet! And you can't beat the price.
Cool. I wonder if it floats. :-)
Yes...

Nice! Cool project.
BOAT= "Bust Out Another Thousand"
We'll see.
Does it have a vin on the back right corner? Usually the last 2 numbers are the year model
Boats have VINS? I looked it up and it is a 1961.

Oh my gosh. How do I get a hold of you?

Ran when docked
With gas prices going up to 10 dollars a gal. I hope that boat gets 80 miles per gal.? Just sayin Larry.
With hobbies and anything fun, you never look at costs. If you have to look at the cost of playing with a toy, then you can't afford the toy.
