Sheng Wang is the most underrated comic today. Avocados, Breakfast vs Dinner, his girlfriend’s mammogram stories are pure gold! I hope he gets his own special and streaming series.
As an amateur comedian, this was really heartening. I always felt that Asian comedians, especially male, are somewhat ignored by most of American society. In the Denver scene, there's maybe three or four comics off the top of my head in a city that's brimming with talent. Awesome interview with an awesome comedian.
Found Sheng because my brother was watching his Netflix special and he said he was getting Mitch Hedberg vibes, my favorite comedian. I also got a little bit of Mitch from Sheng and this video confirms it! Really cool. Also, the end part of this video where he talks about babies being new to everything is EXACTLY why I get fascinated by babies sometimes, EVERYTHING is just completely new to them, every sight, sound, touch, taste, etc. It's kind of fascinating to watch babies go through that stuff because they have no refrence.
