I wish to add a few more tips and pointers for earning gold with the Bounty Hunter Role, which I have learned through other videos, and also through personal experience, as Bounty Hunting is my preferred means to earn gold since the reduction in Daily Challenge payouts: 1) The ideal amount of time to spend on Bounty Hunter missions (as well as Stranger and Story missions) is exactly 12 minutes, as the gold multiplier that is applied relative to time spent in mission is greatly reduced after the 12 minute mark. This 12 minute timer is NOT the timer that is displayed on the screen, but rather an invisible timer that starts as soon as the mission banner displays on the upper-center part of the screen, and the sound effect plays (or as soon as the cutscene ends in the case of Legendary Bounties and Story missions). I would advise setting a stopwatch timer as soon as this happens so that you know exactly how much longer you may have to wait, or whether you can simply finish the mission if 12 minutes have already elapsed. The gold earned after 12 minutes will be 0.32 gold. 2) Be informed that not all Bounty Hunter missions actually allow you to wait out 12 minutes, and some 3-star (3-dollar sign) bounties actually have what I consider to be a ridiculously short timer, to the point where I frequently fail them purely because I do not have enough time to get back to the jail or prison wagon after capturing the target. These missions will unfortunately always pay less cash and gold than those that allow you to wait 12 minutes. 3) All Bounty Hunter missions, regardless of their star (dollar sign) difficulty, will ALWAYS pay the same amount of gold based on time spent in the mission. The same is true for Legendary Bounties, Stranger missions and Story missions. In all cases, waiting 12 minutes is the ideal amount of time, and will net 0.32 gold. If you are only after gold and not cash, feel free to go for the easiest Bounty Hunter posters, as they will still pay out the same amount of gold, and the only thing that will be less is the cash payout. 4) If going after Legendary Bounties and not looking for too much of a challenge, I strongly recommend going after Etta Doyle, as she is by far the easiest Legendary Bounty to capture (even on 5-star difficulty), and is actually easier to capture than many standard Bounties. If you want to know just how easy it is, simply search up "Etta Doyle Legendary Bounty guide" for many guides, including one by "TheProfessional", that detail exactly how ridiculously simple the mission is. Frankly, the hardest part of the mission is waiting for Etta to reveal herself, and then waiting outside the police station for 12 minutes to pass, and I could (and actually sort of have, a few times) do this mission in my sleep. This mission is rather boring on repeat, but if you are simply looking for an easy way to make gold (as well as cash in this case), definitely replay this mission whenever you can. I hope that my tips and pointers above have helped players seeking to grind the Bounty Hunter Role for gold.
ok Professional some thing you may not know 1- 20 carcasses dont have to be big animal or perfect. i usual keep every small animal i trample on in my way around so i have 8-10 small bird or squirt, or you can go to emerald farm or Largas kill 10 chicken there put in to wagon to get 10 carcasses head start 2- with multiple bounty target. use bolas, i know it isnt cheap but it have a trick, if you lose you bolas, you can throw another bolas as any NPC tie them up then you get ur bolas back, but if you untie them then knock them out with a gun, tie them again you will get another bolas, or just tie them again i dont need try to do so so far, i use a most expendsive bolas yet i never need to buy them again and never run out, hope it stay that way 3- 2 bounty in less than an hour, i dont know why or it is a glitch, but if you do a legendary bounty like etta doyle alone in hour which you afk for long time to take a coffee break, after delive the bounty challenge auto achieve. dont know why and i very much dont care 4- 5 animal same can just do it with cow farm near Rhodes, they was in fence so wont run in water or go too far each other, and they wont try eat you kick you from your horse or make your feet wet, can do the same for the trader large carcasses but at Valentine with pig and sheep 5- I alway do bounty with collecter, after you take the bounty mission you can run around to get collectible around the area get 3 or 4 then run to bounty location after capture depend on the time left you can try to continue collect, do that you wont bore (i feel dont have enough time) you just need to spend 12 give or take per bounty run like that you will get max gold per run/ time, not only that you will try to run different area when collectible on that area run out. but take the risk fail the bounty mission if you dont calculate time though 6- i dont think a bounty with more target ever give me more gold though, cash and exp maybe but gold still depend on timer 7- Legendary bounty mission like Carmela Montez will give you extremely high chance to loot collectible like alcoho and tarot card, which if you experience enough that you kill entire of the map plus calvary wave chasing you (mostly because you know how). That Alcoho collectible you loot is material for moonshine, I know you may say use collectible to make moonshine is waste, BUT alcoho like Scotch, Old Tom Gin and Irish wont able to loot only collect 1 per day (unless you get the random event which a dog lead you in to extra bottle), which this case you have alot of Caribbean rum and Absinthe which useless if you collect more than collection and only sell for 7$ alone, which push 20$ more when use in moonshine. WAIT there more, when you alway make moonshine with three star flavor streak each bootleg mission will discount not 10$ but 20$ each, so you randomly run in to one finish it then run back to moonshine shack do one more you will get a discount 40$ with spend half the time (condition is you didnt change lobbie). BUT if you make another 2 star moonshine will break the streak and bootleg will turn back to 10$. I alway make three star but alway full 10 Caribbean rum and Absinthe bottle
8- Make a special moonshine challenge, if you already finish 3 star moonshine and wait for delivery, if you do a legendary mission, when finish that challenge auto achive, plus you can finish the challenge drink you own strong moonshine
One time i met up with a random in valentine, and we both got that daily challenge of tacking a picture of another player, we both did it, and we left, theres good people in this game

Anyone seen PvPcat's recent video about a veteran player who contacted R* Support about some problematic glitches concerning his knife, and what did R* do?... *they removed his characters' knife permanently as a solution*. Now he CAN'T skin animals because that particular knife can't be purchased as it is what your charater starts with from the beginning. Instead of compensating the guy, their only "solution" is to delete his progress and start over again. R* never cease to disappoint their loyal fans of the games...

new players dont have the gold to buy the bounty licenses so saying dont do stranger missions at all is pushing players to buy gold. stranger missions are just as good at making GOLD as bounty missions. the timer starts right after you accept each mission, set a timer to 12 mins and when it hits zero finish your mission. Dont wait til the last minute, thats wasting time and gold.
XXXTentacion Fanboy and after a while you would start earning extra gold so when you get to 500$ you get 2.5 gold and at 1000$ you get 5 gold it isn't much but it's rockstar

Personally, I recommend getting 7-14 treasure maps before doing them. That way you can just mark several on your map at once and hit a few up in one session. All treasure map locations can be found via the internet, so you can just look up which maps you have and use something like jeanropke's RDO map to locate and create a route for them.
About the bounty hunter, you make the most amount of money/gold after 12 minutes... if you spend exactly 12 minutes you will earn ALLWAYS 0.24 gold bars. This timer starts when you start the mission but you don't see it. This is the most amount of gold per minute that you can get.
this comment is exactly what i was looking for. kinda wondered why the “only do the $$ and $$$ missions” is suggested... all give the same payout rate if we’re talking gold, at least the $ and $$ do. haven’t looked into legendary bounties or even $$$ for that matter as i don’t want to do more than one target at a time...

I'm sure you know this, but easy way to do the 20 carcass donations in 10 minutes is to keep small animals in your pouch (i.e. frogs, song birds, chipmunks and squirrels). You can carry tons in your bag and just use them.

For the 20 / 15 / 10 carcasses to Cribbs, you need to stock always small animals in your satchel and you always keep it there for those challenges and when you run out of stock you start filling up again during your daily routine...you just need to remember to do it ;) greats videos like always GG
I never understood how the legendary bounties work until recently. Now I run one every hour just so I can say I've completed them, and just because it gives me something to do.
For the trader daily "donate 20 carcasses in less than 10 minutes" it's pretty easy if you spend a little time stocking up on squirrels, toads, and small birds as you run a collector route. I have like 50 small animals in my inventory most of the time and they come in handy for a lot of different dailies.
The Carcasses can be birds youv've collected and stored in your satchel, so get as many small carcasses as possible (toads, etc). Lassso from Horseback can also be done on the same person it seems.

Dailies is a bonus, ur not meant to just grind the dailies alone to get gold, just play the game normally the gold racks up fast enough without u realizing, if u just focus on gold gold gold all time its bound to feel like a drag just enjoy the game and the gold will follow.....
One easy way to fill up trader materials is to get legendary animal skins. If you have naturalist rank 5 you should do legendary animal mission, skin it and give it to cripps You can get 50-80 materials per mission
Guys if you're on PC, when they do the 3x payout for the showdown series, I just went into my keyboard software and made a custom macro that repeats itself and moves my character every so often. Last haloween was the first time I did it and I made like 200 gold bars in a few days. Normally I wouldn't ever cheese a game like that but since they fucked our dailies I don't care.

About the Legendary Bounty hunts, I recommend a lot Etta Doyle since you can capture her without going through combat (how to do this I believe that Professional has already done a video) and just wait the 30 minutes and you will get some free 100 dollars and gold
I could live with the half amount of gold earned for daily challenges, if they didn’t reset after 28 days. Or vice versa. From a business point of view, I can kind of understand why they nerfed it, but they didn’t need to nerf it in 2 different ways.

All the read dead online missions give you the same amount of gold it just depends on the timer the best time imo is 12 mins you get 32 nuggets. Also the doller signs on the poster don't effect your gold earrings at all they just have a higher cash payout not gold and I also recommend to do the Etta Doyle legendary mission whenever you can it will give you $170 in 12 mins I'm sure you'll find lots of videos on have to do it easily you literally can do it without killing anyone or getting shot
As soon as you start a bounty mission and it pops up on your screen start a timer. Every 3 minutes you earn .08 gold and after that it is halved to .04 gold every 3 min. Deliver the bounty right after 12 minutes and 1 second to be the most efficient with time and gold earning.
Around the 14:00 mark I’m not sure if this is pre the bounty update, but you should use Bolas more, you get them back every time you tie up after, way faster and safer when there’s a lot of them to take care of, so yea buy 3 of them and you’ll be chillin

I got into the game but before the nerf and I want my friends to play as well but they don’t want to have to grind so hard for so little gold and tbh I don’t blame them
I actually figured out a way how to make the daily challenge to give Cripps 20 animal carcasses within 10 minutes. I've simply started collecting small animals like squirrels or frogs everywhere when i see them, while going around the map, doing another activities. I collected enough of these animals that in total I would have 20 of them and I just give them to Cripps all at once and it accepts this challenge. And you don't even need a hunting wagon for that, which I don't have. Note that I've been collecting those small animals over the days. You can collect them all in one day if you're trying really hard but it won't be as efficent as the method I described previously.
I started playing after daily challenge nerf. I can understand Rockstar needs some people to pay in some money for game to keep going but gold is super easy to get. It used to be easier? I have more than what I know what to do with. Saving up for next outlaw pass and next roles or whatever in next update. Treasure maps, and all these challenges you’ll get tons of gold. Also I think everyone forgets AWARD RESENTS!!! Technically you can turn RDO cash into gold with awards....
5 sample sold to harriet , 3 camps stew eaten , 3 blending tonics use , 3 wetland sample , 3 farmland sample and other professional told in videos are very easy dailies

Ik it's so fucking annoying they have a role for you to kill animals then they have a role for you to spare animals even if they're deadly they just cancel out so u have to do them once at a time

Bounty hunter gold payout is the same regardless if u play the $ bounty or the $$$ bounty it's the same...the gold payout is determined for how long you play
I joined RDO after the daily nerf but im actually happy about it, makes me experience other activities and i dont find it to be that hard to be honest. People should shake off the grind mentality in this game, theres aint that much things you need the gold for anyway if you dont grind roles like theres no tomorrow. Been doing the BH for 4 days casually (lvl7) (ofc i abuse the timer and exploit etta for 30 mins for $) but i play with free aim and compass on PS and dont sprint everywhere so yeah, tryin to balance and enjoy it
@@Zolcsykah Yes Just for cosmetics you need in game Gold for the Gold Version/Styles. Example; One Color change is like 5 gold then adds up fast to about 30 Gold. You only need gold for gold. Per gun. 🤑
I normally horde treasure maps in my lockbox because they don't take up your space as the lockbox is unlimited storage also 4th way of getting treasure maps is the outlaw passes.
You make more gold doing show downs and it's also the fastest way to level up your cards as well as get better at PVP to put a stop to griefers👍👍 trust me, show downs or the way to go.
The way I do the 20 animals donations under 10 min. I hold onto the small carcasses I can keep in my bag like small birds and just hoard them while doing other stuff and only turn them over to cripps when I have that challenge.
Is there any other ways to make money as well because it massively puts me off playing having to grind for 3 hours to get a pistol, not a rifle, a pistol can anyone help?
I've just started playing Online a few days ago. My char is only tiny, but I'm trying to do at least 1 daily challenge, the ones I can do since I'm only rank 11 & I'm finding the start a bit of a struggle even though I'm super careful with my gold. I'm on day 4 of my first streak.

4- 5 animal same can just do it with cow farm near Rhodes, they was in fence so wont run in water or go too far each other, and they wont try eat you kick you from your horse or make your feet wet, can do the same for the trader large carcasses but at Valentine with pig and sheep
5- I alway do bounty with collecter, after you take the bounty mission you can run around to get collectible around the area get 3 or 4 then run to bounty location after capture depend on the time left you can try to continue collect, do that you wont bore (i feel dont have enough time) you just need to spend 12 give or take per bounty run like that you will get max gold per run/ time, not only that you will try to run different area when collectible on that area run out. but take the risk fail the bounty mission if you dont calculate time though
6- i dont think a bounty with more target ever give me more gold though, cash and exp maybe but gold still depend on timer
7- Legendary bounty mission like Carmela Montez will give you extremely high chance to loot collectible like alcoho and tarot card, which if you experience enough that you kill entire of the map plus calvary wave chasing you (mostly because you know how). That Alcoho collectible you loot is material for moonshine, I know you may say use collectible to make moonshine is waste, BUT alcoho like Scotch, Old Tom Gin and Irish wont able to loot only collect 1 per day (unless you get the random event which a dog lead you in to extra bottle), which this case you have alot of Caribbean rum and Absinthe which useless if you collect more than collection and only sell for 7$ alone, which push 20$ more when use in moonshine. WAIT there more, when you alway make moonshine with three star flavor streak each bootleg mission will discount not 10$ but 20$ each, so you randomly run in to one finish it then run back to moonshine shack do one more you will get a discount 40$ with spend half the time (condition is you didnt change lobbie). BUT if you make another 2 star moonshine will break the streak and bootleg will turn back to 10$. I alway make three star but alway full 10 Caribbean rum and Absinthe bottle
8- Make a special moonshine challenge, if you already finish 3 star moonshine and wait for delivery, if you do a legendary mission, when finish that challenge auto achive, plus you can finish the challenge drink you own strong moonshine
One time i met up with a random in valentine, and we both got that daily challenge of tacking a picture of another player, we both did it, and we left, theres good people in this game

Anyone seen PvPcat's recent video about a veteran player who contacted R* Support about some problematic glitches concerning his knife, and what did R* do?... *they removed his characters' knife permanently as a solution*. Now he CAN'T skin animals because that particular knife can't be purchased as it is what your charater starts with from the beginning. Instead of compensating the guy, their only "solution" is to delete his progress and start over again.
R* never cease to disappoint their loyal fans of the games...

They wiped and reset (removing cars, clothing, weapons, progress) thousands of players accounts in GTA online who participated in overpowered money glitches and got away with it. Removing a practical tool from a player in RDO is much easier for them.

new players dont have the gold to buy the bounty licenses so saying dont do stranger missions at all is pushing players to buy gold. stranger missions are just as good at making GOLD as bounty missions. the timer starts right after you accept each mission, set a timer to 12 mins and when it hits zero finish your mission. Dont wait til the last minute, thats wasting time and gold.

Personally, I recommend getting 7-14 treasure maps before doing them. That way you can just mark several on your map at once and hit a few up in one session.
All treasure map locations can be found via the internet, so you can just look up which maps you have and use something like jeanropke's RDO map to locate and create a route for them.

About the bounty hunter, you make the most amount of money/gold after 12 minutes... if you spend exactly 12 minutes you will earn ALLWAYS 0.24 gold bars. This timer starts when you start the mission but you don't see it. This is the most amount of gold per minute that you can get.
You get 0.32 for 12 minutes. 0.24 is for 9 minutes

I'm sure you know this, but easy way to do the 20 carcass donations in 10 minutes is to keep small animals in your pouch (i.e. frogs, song birds, chipmunks and squirrels). You can carry tons in your bag and just use them.

For the 20 / 15 / 10 carcasses to Cribbs, you need to stock always small animals in your satchel and you always keep it there for those challenges and when you run out of stock you start filling up again during your daily routine...you just need to remember to do it ;) greats videos like always GG

I never understood how the legendary bounties work until recently. Now I run one every hour just so I can say I've completed them, and just because it gives me something to do.
For the trader daily "donate 20 carcasses in less than 10 minutes" it's pretty easy if you spend a little time stocking up on squirrels, toads, and small birds as you run a collector route. I have like 50 small animals in my inventory most of the time and they come in handy for a lot of different dailies.
The Carcasses can be birds youv've collected and stored in your satchel, so get as many small carcasses as possible (toads, etc). Lassso from Horseback can also be done on the same person it seems.

One easy way to fill up trader materials is to get legendary animal skins. If you have naturalist rank 5 you should do legendary animal mission, skin it and give it to cripps
You can get 50-80 materials per mission
Showdowns are good for gold when there 2x gold or 3x but lots of afk players and sometimes all lobbys are full

Guys if you're on PC, when they do the 3x payout for the showdown series, I just went into my keyboard software and made a custom macro that repeats itself and moves my character every so often. Last haloween was the first time I did it and I made like 200 gold bars in a few days. Normally I wouldn't ever cheese a game like that but since they fucked our dailies I don't care.

I could live with the half amount of gold earned for daily challenges, if they didn’t reset after 28 days. Or vice versa. From a business point of view, I can kind of understand why they nerfed it, but they didn’t need to nerf it in 2 different ways.

All the read dead online missions give you the same amount of gold it just depends on the timer the best time imo is 12 mins you get 32 nuggets. Also the doller signs on the poster don't effect your gold earrings at all they just have a higher cash payout not gold and I also recommend to do the Etta Doyle legendary mission whenever you can it will give you $170 in 12 mins I'm sure you'll find lots of videos on have to do it easily you literally can do it without killing anyone or getting shot
As soon as you start a bounty mission and it pops up on your screen start a timer. Every 3 minutes you earn .08 gold and after that it is halved to .04 gold every 3 min.
Deliver the bounty right after 12 minutes and 1 second to be the most efficient with time and gold earning.
If you lasso the same bounty over and over again from horseback that will complete the challenge
Pro you gotta change that brown gun metal. What’s that point of grinding if you dont treat yourself every once in a while

I’ve currently just finished my 14th daily challenges and I’ve made 33.47 gold so far
20 carcasses to Cripps can be done easily if you stock up on small carcasses (rats, small birds, squirrels etc). These are stored in your satchel and you don’t lose them when you log out. Whenever I see one of these animals I’ll kill it, and build up a stock for whenever this daily challenge appears.
Small birds make the 20 carcasses in 10 minutes really easy, just hold stock of small birds in your bag until this challenge shows up.
Another con of legendary bounties is it stops trader and moonshine production.
Got to promote that petition harder bro! Everyone is with you, you just have to guide them to the boat captain!

ok Professional some thing you may not know
1- 20 carcasses dont have to be big animal or perfect. i usual keep every small animal i trample on in my way around so i have 8-10 small bird or squirt, or you can go to emerald farm or Largas kill 10 chicken there put in to wagon to get 10 carcasses head start
2- with multiple bounty target. use bolas, i know it isnt cheap but it have a trick, if you lose you bolas, you can throw another bolas as any NPC tie them up then you get ur bolas back, but if you untie them then knock them out with a gun, tie them again you will get another bolas, or just tie them again i dont need try to do so so far, i use a most expendsive bolas yet i never need to buy them again and never run out, hope it stay that way

I actually figured out a way how to make the daily challenge to give Cripps 20 animal carcasses within 10 minutes. I've simply started collecting small animals like squirrels or frogs everywhere when i see them, while going around the map, doing another activities. I collected enough of these animals that in total I would have 20 of them and I just give them to Cripps all at once and it accepts this challenge. And you don't even need a hunting wagon for that, which I don't have. Note that I've been collecting those small animals over the days. You can collect them all in one day if you're trying really hard but it won't be as efficent as the method I described previously.
I started playing after daily challenge nerf. I can understand Rockstar needs some people to pay in some money for game to keep going but gold is super easy to get. It used to be easier? I have more than what I know what to do with. Saving up for next outlaw pass and next roles or whatever in next update. Treasure maps, and all these challenges you’ll get tons of gold.
Also I think everyone forgets AWARD RESENTS!!! Technically you can turn RDO cash into gold with awards....

I joined RDO after the daily nerf but im actually happy about it, makes me experience other activities and i dont find it to be that hard to be honest. People should shake off the grind mentality in this game, theres aint that much things you need the gold for anyway if you dont grind roles like theres no tomorrow. Been doing the BH for 4 days casually (lvl7) (ofc i abuse the timer and exploit etta for 30 mins for $) but i play with free aim and compass on PS and dont sprint everywhere so yeah, tryin to balance and enjoy it

I normally horde treasure maps in my lockbox because they don't take up your space as the lockbox is unlimited storage also 4th way of getting treasure maps is the outlaw passes.
You make more gold doing show downs and it's also the fastest way to level up your cards as well as get better at PVP to put a stop to griefers👍👍 trust me, show downs or the way to go.

The way I do the 20 animals donations under 10 min. I hold onto the small carcasses I can keep in my bag like small birds and just hoard them while doing other stuff and only turn them over to cripps when I have that challenge.
Is there any other ways to make money as well because it massively puts me off playing having to grind for 3 hours to get a pistol, not a rifle, a pistol can anyone help?

I've just started playing Online a few days ago. My char is only tiny, but I'm trying to do at least 1 daily challenge, the ones I can do since I'm only rank 11 & I'm finding the start a bit of a struggle even though I'm super careful with my gold.
I'm on day 4 of my first streak.
