There was supposed to be a whole-ass episode where Stan confronts Wendy about her stealing something from the Mystery Shack gift shop, but instead of scolding her he says she has a gift for stealing and they team up in all kinds of robberies. It never left the draft stage, from what Hirsch said, but this is what their relationship would be if the team could make the episode work.
Stan definitely has a father/kids thing with Dipper and Mabel, but it’s hard not to also see it with him and Wendy. She’s like the oldest daughter who he can’t boss around much anymore.
Stan and Wendy definitely have an interesting boss/employee dynamic, with Stan bossing Wendy around and Wendy not taking Stan or her job working under him seriously. Wendy even flat out abused her power when she was a lifeguard and had authority over Stan at the pool. You could at least say that Wendy and Stan are at least acquaintances with a somewhat positive relationship.
Just like on Soos’ birthday, they both bonded over protecting him. I think it’s simply they know their roles. Like Stan’s not trying to make her the best employee ever, and she’s not trying to make it a 5 star resort
I would like to think that Wendy worked for Stan for so long that she takes him being laid back for granted but at the same time she practically has seniority working for him for so long that she can get away with being lax working for him.
I see a lot of people talking about how Stan relationship with Wendy seens like one of a father and daughter. But here is the thing, basically all of the relationships of Stan are like that. I mean, he treated Dipper like a son, and so he did to Mabel. And oh boy, let's not even get started with Soos. I think that Stanley is trying to just give to those other characters the family he regreted so much having lost. Not telling that he treated he's employees as a replacement for his brother, but he saw in them the family he so desperately needed
Damn, that really makes Stan even better than he seems to be That loss of his brother, shows in the way he truly did care about everyone he deals with, especially the twins

True. Although the difference between Gravity Falls’ version and South Park’s is that one is a boss and employee relationship with a few yet funny interactions while the other was one of the most popular ships in the franchise. But both are good shows
Something that I really like about Gravity Falls is that it really gets what makes its character archetypes work. Mabel and Dipper are opposites in almost every regard, but they're still siblings, and no matter how much they bicker, they eventually come around. Stan may be a crazy old scam artist with no regard for human decency, but he'll always be there for his family-in one way or another. Soos is the world's most perfect man, no "buts" needed. And Wendy is a sarcastic slacker, but she still cares and is capable of respecting other people without sacrificing her rebellious side.

One thing I like about Wendy is that she looks like half an adult like soos when she's around the younger pines twins, but put her next to Stan or anybother actual adult in gravity falls (there are not many), she looks like an actual 15 year old
Im not entirely convinced Stan and Wendy have a father-daughter vibe, I see it more as a Grandfather and Granddaughter: They joke around with each other, but she still listens to him on the important stuff , but doesn’t put up with or straight up ignores/works around the peak BS Stan puts out, but also drags him into new things. He also trusts her to an extent with Dipper and Mable. They are good for each other. Wendy’s quest for pointless , stress free fun helps Stan take moments to chill while not trying to get money or save anyone and Stand’s rule breaking but directed by his need to save his bro helps direct Wendy’s mad skill and rebellion aims to a greater point, ie like double crossing a drug dealer and beating up d-bag unicorns to get their hair for a protective spell. Besides, have you met her father? Of course she would want to hang around the old con man who plays loose with rules as long as results get had and no one gets hurt!!! Stan is literally the grandfather type that lets the kids drive down the block and have ice cream before dinner, as long as you aim the fireworks away from the house!
2:55 Apparently Stan hates it when Ford use the window to go out of the shack in that one comic depicting extra GF stories. Well apparently now i know he was like that cuz Stan himself can't do what Ford does. And Ford does it with *style*
Stan is a great person he was a father figure for Soos and Wendy Also a good uncle for dipper and Mabel And he did everything he could to safe ford He is a good person even if he is a little bit criminal.
I think Stan sees Wendy as a daughter or granddaughter figure because they’re interactions are always caring or something a parent would do. Kinda like the daughter Stan never had.
he probally dont go on Mystery Hunt because of the Society of the Blind eye would DEFINITELY have Stan memory if that were the case,he probally watch TV most of the time with them but Mabel and Dipper is really the glue that hold everything together because it would be super akward for Stan to go to lazer tag or for Wendy to ask Stan out for party.

Wendy’s quest for pointless , stress free fun helps Stan take moments to chill while not trying to get money or save anyone and Stand’s rule breaking but directed by his need to save his bro
helps direct Wendy’s mad skill and rebellion aims to a greater point, ie like double crossing a drug dealer and beating up d-bag unicorns to get their hair for a protective spell. Besides, have you met her father? Of course she would want to hang around the old con man who plays loose with rules as long as results get had and no one gets hurt!!! Stan is literally the grandfather type that lets the kids drive down the block and have ice cream before dinner, as long as you aim the fireworks away from the house!
1:18 "I make da rules, suka!" Get him! Get him! 😆
Ah, she’s attacking me with water 🏃♂️💦😂
0:40 The silly strings are literally just scribbles😂

Apparently Stan hates it when Ford use the window to go out of the shack in that one comic depicting extra GF stories. Well apparently now i know he was like that cuz Stan himself can't do what Ford does. And Ford does it with *style*
I love how this old man’s best friends are his two employees and they all pick on eachother
i didn't realize how much i needed this duo until now. thank you
“This is literally too dumb for me to care about😐”
I love this lmao
Stan is a great person he was a father figure for Soos and Wendy
Also a good uncle for dipper and Mabel
And he did everything he could to safe ford
He is a good person even if he is a little bit criminal.
1:40 I DIDNT CATCH THIS FIRST TIME

“I make the rule sucker, boosh!”
“Ah, she’s attacking me with water!”
😂😂😂
"You two are gonna wash the bathrooms right?" -Stan
"Yes sir" -Soos
"Absolutely Not" -Wendy
*Looks at Wendy, points*
"You stay outta trouble"
I love how she keeps reading a “avoid eye contact” magazine lol
"He bribed me" i think he paid you guys to do your jobs
I think it's a joke
@@zamira9642 well bleh bleh bluh bluh bluh blooh
Stan, dipper, mabel, soos, and wendy were like a family. They had a great dynamic
I think Stan sees Wendy as a daughter or granddaughter figure because they’re interactions are always caring or something a parent would do. Kinda like the daughter Stan never had.
My favorite Wendy quote is "I make the rules, sucka! BOOSH!"
Wendy feels shorter next to Stan.
Everyone feel shorter next to Stan.
@@awesomegaming1991 You know what a typo is.
3:14 is the ONLY time a cartoon got mainstream memes right
3:13 It May be fake, but dang it if it isn’t funny lol
Edit: Holy crap it’s real that’s so cool😂
That’s actually from the show
But it is real ! I love this show !
it’s real 💀
First time I laughed so hard at this
I imagine Stan hired Wendy because she tried stealing his stealings and thought “that took guts”😂
Wendy, ඞ, and Stan make such an awesome trio. I wonder what kind of things they did together before the twins arrived.
How
Amogus
Soos is among us
he probally dont go on Mystery Hunt because of the Society of the Blind eye would DEFINITELY have Stan memory if that were the case,he probally watch TV most of the time with them but Mabel and Dipper is really the glue that hold everything together because it would be super akward for Stan to go to lazer tag or for Wendy to ask Stan out for party.
I don’t remember the line “your memeing really fast and there not funny” is funnier than I remember
