Who is the better twin, Stanley or Stanford? Personally, I'd choose Stanley. Even though he did a lot of morally questionable things, he still has a heart of gold. Like you said, Stanely came immediately when his brother asked for his help, despite the tension. When Ford went through the portal, he dedicated 30 years of his life to bringing him back. He also showed how much he cared for Mabel and Dipper, trying to protect them from the weirdness of Gravity Falls. He sacrifice at the end proved so. What a well written character👏
I wish this went a little more in detail on some of the adventures that Ford had after he got sucked into the portal, like his short rule over the finger dimension, his partnership with Rick Sanchez, and the invention of the quantum destabilizer that he designed specifically to kill Bill. I get that this is more focused on what we see in the show, rather than other spin off materials, but those are probably my favorite stories involving Ford.
But Ford didn’t actually install a metal plate in his skull until after he got stuck in the other dimensions. This is mentioned in some book I don’t remember the name of 😅
