I love that Japan has restaurants that help introverts / shy people feel more comfortable. The BBQ place & your booth at Café Gaston (?) looked cozy. I personally thought the cat robot server was adorable, not soulless! ☺

Yes, I do agree with you! They are very good at catering to the more introverted crowd, and it's nice when you're out and about by yourself. 😀
However, I think in some cases, they can overdo it. Japanese culture tends to be very secluded and in some cases even promote isolation. Depression is rampant in Japanese society and a lot of times it's unintentionally further propagated by isolating people and discouraging social interaction. 😞

@Christine C. For years in my pocket of VA one or the "highest rated" steak places was a place where they brought you your raw cut of steak and you had to go to the charcoal pit grill in the back of the dining room and cook it yourself. I worked there as a teenager and didn't get why people liked it so much. But I like KBBQ style places, I just don't always have folks to go with so this would be perfect for 20 bucks and all that.

      I wish them all well
May they all have safe travels

Overall everything is interesting. But everything is to avoid other people, even in restaurants. OK, I understand the robot waiters if there are not ebough workers and it works well. I liked the most that you can order via a screen and you do not have to wait for a bill. I would have no problem with this sort of hotel. It was clean and the hotel looked nice. And it was very cheap, no disadvantage. After seeing this I do not wonder that the Japanese population is decreasing, if they go solo for BBQ, breakfast and have no conversation at all. Japan is interesting and I think I will travel one time to this country. Very special.

I remember staying at a capsule hotel in Tokyo or Akhiabara (I'm not quite sure) and both of them were not size friendly. Someone like me, 6'7, and claustrophobic would find any capsule hotel a nightmare. I especially asked me travel agent to get me something size friendly, and she got me a box to live in.

For passing through alone, and not wanting to spend money on unused space, this is outstanding. Considering the price of a hotel room, economic too. Less of a problem with someone sneaking in a guest too. Good job on the apnea thing, I got 672 times in just 8 hours, critical apnea! But got me a cool face mask to force air down my lungs when I try stopping in my sleep. You feel better when you wake up.

I love the individual booths in the restaurant and being able to cook your own meal. It was great to see how it all works and see the amenities provided. Everything looks spotless and I would love to try the hotel someday. I look forward to watching more of your uploads. I have shared the channel with friends and family. Your videos are fascinating. I like the way you've organized them and the way you use subtitles. I watched another video of yours about sleeping stations and enjoyed it too. When I first read about these capsule hotels I thought they sounded depressing, but after this video I think they're actually very inexpensive and seem worth it. I do think that the lack of any interaction with others in both the hotel and restaurants would start to bother me after awhile. Everything seems set up to avoid any human contact. Even the streets you have videotaped look very empty.

While all the automation and high-tech interactive screens and devices is convenient, the lack of (low-paid) service workers eliminates even the few "thank you, have a nice day, you too" interactions we still have in the US. it may seem meaningless, but to those who live alone, those may be the few words exchanged between people. It seems a bit cold and lonely, and I am a super-introvert. No wonder everybody is on the phones, we all are away from home and the people we know are only on the other side of the phone call.

Definitely. There should be toilets on the same floor as the beds. I have this psychological thing where if I wait even a little while between using the rest room and going to bed, I won't be able to sleep because I'll feel like I have to pee. 😂

9 hours of sleep and u didint wake up for toilet either. Damm that’s really fulfilling sleep for an adult. I get a solid deep sleep for 5 hours if I’m lucky. U must be a heavy sleeper or a long day of recording.
That deep sleep till u stop breathing it’s normal depending how active u are as a person. If ur athletic and heavy into sports u can even have a lower heart rate if ur well rested compared to an average person.

How cool! Loving your videos :) The immersive experience, showing the travel to and from and daily activities and restaurants as well as the destination is perfection :D The great audio of the surroundings is so good, and the subtitles are truly inspired - curious to know what you sound/look like but it's even more immersive not knowing, lol. Where's your Patreon so I can throw money at you? 💚

    這麼乾淨
    這麼漂亮
