Doris makes sure that her gluttonous little nipple leaches are fed enough to be healthy and of course so they survive, however she doesn’t let them be attached nonstop nor does she let them use her as a pacifier either. I hate to tell you guys, as soon as these offsprings have their teeth they are off the milk it's time to learn to eat. Some of these offsprings don't pay attention to Mom when she's teaching them what to take and eat but they catch on after a while.

It is shocking how misunderstood Doris’ practice of patience vs. deprivation is. She’s one of my favorites to watch wean, because she is so good at it.
