Being a doctor, I can say that was a feat of extraordinary strength and balance. I’ve never seen any amputee with that level of physical skill - and I’ve seen wonderful athletes do wonderful things with prosthetics. I think he’s hands down one of the best dancers in the world. Not to mention his level of expression and grace. Phenomenal talent.
It is time for doctors to impuls there patients in a positive way . How many times in the past they say people with disabilities couldn’t achieve anything like that ? They where in a bed or wheelchair just because of these words . Look how beautiful stuff that can be created. Very inspirational .
In my view, Musa did not just represent himself, he represent all of human greatness, that we can go beyond our challenge and excuses, he put his heart comletely on the line. What's amazing to me is, instead of a missing leg being a disability, using the crutch to make moves that two-legged ppl can't do, made him one of the most unique dancers in the world. Every move he made was elegant, enhanced, and full of emotion.
Even when he first walked out on stage, he walked with more poise and more confidence than most people would with both legs. He's a real role model for all of us.

Musa you have opened a whole new world of dance and joy for all amputees in this world … bless your soul. You danced with such elegance and meaning … truly magical and heart warming. You make South Africans proud .
The best audition I have ever seen at BGT. His level of expressions and grace is so amazing and exceptional. God bless you always and praying for you to be the next BGT champion.
Actually it's BGT but if AGT All Stars come back like next year hopefully, he needs to compete cuz everyone in the USA need to see Musa dance like never seen before :)
Going forward, I think the crowd deserves to have their own golden buzzer when they encounter a contestant that indeed deserves it... the support from the crowd was extraordinary; well done, Musa; you are such an inspiration.
This audition was EXCEPTIONAL; the crowd felt it and we all; watching from our screens felt it as well... I doubt they would scream this much for a non deserving act.

this was the crowd's golden buzzer! Musa showed that if you wanna do something, you can find a way. The way his body flows when dancing is amazing, the song choice was on point, and he delivered the performance with all of his being. Well deserved!!
I spoke to him in Zulu as I was working at the finals. So proud of him. I’m in tears. Representing South Africa 🇿🇦. I love him. I’m a safa living in uk.
This was not an audition. This was a concert. A show of a lifetime. Makes me proud to be African. Go Go Musa. Even the sky ain't the limit for you. Proud of you brother
Guys like Musa are here to remember us that always there are problems much bigger than ours and the biggest obstacle is ourselves. Congratulations young man!
Tears of Joy, Tears of Pride for Musa, a Humble, Handsome, Talented Young South African on an international platform despite his condition. It did not stop Musa from reaching for the stars! Wishing you all the very best in your future endeavours, Musa...love and Blessings from South Africa!
It's moments like this that makes me proud to be South African. Musa you have flown our flag high with this amazing audition. You took your disability and turned it into your ability. Youve proven to everyone the world over that no matter where you come from or what youre going through in life, that you can do anything and achieve greatness when you put your heart into it. Go out there Musa and achieve greatness.
I’m proud of how far we’ve come as a people and I am British Jamaican ❤❤he totally smashed his addiction we was blessed by our ancestors whit plenty of dance moves ❤❤❤
So emotional, l cried like a baby, God bless the audience for the support and show of love, he is truly worthy of a golden buzzer, Musa, We Africans are truly proud of you.
That was the most beautifully inspirational thing I’ve EVER SEEN!!! How amazing!! It was almost impossible to tell he had an amputation. And good on that crowd. They wouldn’t take no to the golden buzzer as an option. That’s amazing! I don’t think there has ever been a more deserving golden buzzer
I don't know if I've ever cried watching an audition like this. Tears of joy and strength. Musa just showed once again that we're stronger than our hindrances. Thank you Musa. I've drawn so much strength from this audition.
My favorite thing about Musa's story and his audition is that he wasn't a dancer before his amputation who then re-learned how to dance in this extraordinary way...but rather that he found this love of movement after he fell in love with music after his amputation. He dances as well and as beautifully as he does bc THIS is the way his body knows how to move to music...it's the ONLY way he knows how to dance. And that is most magical and transcendent part of watching Musa dance.
Musa shows that no matter what happens in life to never give up. And all the judges pushing the golden buzzer show how much they loved his spirit and how inspiring he is.
Musa, you are absolutely amazing. That was magical. I never get tired of watching you dance. You are such an inspiration in my life and the lives of other people. You are a hero. You just convinced a 55 year old woman that no dream is impossible to come true. God bless you my son. Long live this African king 👑 .wish I could give you a million likes.
I’ve never heard an ovation that continued THROUGH the judges’ comments… This was extremely well deserved & it’s ABOUT TIME that BGT caught up with the group golden buzzer idea 👍😁🌅🌅🌅

@@AuntBoo … I was taught as a youngster that the mind can be the strongest weapon (& usually is). If you set your mind right to overcome ANY obstacles in life, including the loss of a limb… NOTHING can stand in your way of achieving your dreams ✊️😌. In the words of a certain classic song… “There ain’t no mountain high enough, ain’t no valley low enough, ain’t no river wide enough”. The last bit… “To keep me from getting to you” can sincerely be applied to Musa as he achieves his dreams in life 🌅🌅🌅
This year has totally restored my love of BGT. Musa, you are an inspiration, an awesome dancer, a genuine human and I am so happy for you. Amanda, for you to be the first up and to go down on your knees to hug this young man showed me a side of you that touched my heart. This was so well deserved.
Wow Musa, that was incredible. I can just imagine what you have been through. God is good indeed. Not only did you represent South Africa but the world over. You deserve everything coming to you. Best Golden Buzzer in the history of the show.
Dear Musa, thank you for representing us🇿🇦 on the biggest stage inthe world, Our South African 1st Group Golden Buzzer on BGT. We are super proud of you and You gonna win this season💯🙌🏾 Much love from South Africa 🇿🇦 🎉🎉🎉🎉
You are right, but he hasn't just represented South Africa he has represented humanity, disability and every human on this planet. A family member recently lost a limb, and I will certainly be sharing this with him to show he can still do anything!
He showed the world 🌎 that anything is possible only if you put your mind to it..He touched so many lives, Hence we are Thrilled that they gave him the very ever 1st Group Golden Buzzer on BGT. This Audition is gonna change so many lives.
I'm so proud of our son of South Africa, Musa. He is incredibly talented with no fear of anything. He proved he is possible despite the impossibilies around him. Amazing. Thank you BGT and all supporters for making him so comfortable and for the immense support he received. That's amazing. Bless you son for the heartfelt inspiration.
Mosa, you are a complete dancer. I understood why art is defined as beautiness and trascendence. Thank you for inspiring ourselves to become the best of us.
Musa is amazing! What an inspiration. Talk about not letting adversity hold you down!😭😭😭😭And the AUDIENCE, and the judges! Wow! This was such a beautiful moment. I'm always proud of fellow South Africans who bring with them goodness, talent, and inspiration to the countries they go to. May it always be so. From 🇿🇦South Africa.
He's going to hit million views in less then 24 hours, so many friends and people are sharing this around the world!! Congrats to Musa, he so thoroughly deserved the Golden Buzzer!
I am a Nigerian. But this guy from South Africa showed me the spirit of Africa and that's what we all need. Musa God bless you. Thank you for the performance brother. Hope to see more.
We describe people like Musa as having a disability but he’s turned this into an incredible ABILITY that full-bodied people couldn’t actually perform. Fantastic and inspirational 💪
@@zeentusi9339 I have never met anyone with CANCER who gives up!!! Some are just unlucky enough to lose the war with cancer, but every victim of cancer goes into the battle fighting to survive and win. Some just don't. Only people who have never had cancer themselves make such silly comments - Watching someone else go through it is NOT the same. Trust me, I know!!
Watching this from home in South Africa, as a professional ballet dancer I’m so inspired. It takes so much strength (physical & mental) to be able to do what he’s doing right there, well done sir ❤❤❤
I've been following Got Talent for at least 5 years now and this is THE BEST I've seen. You deserve every reaction. You created this moment, you've created hope for people with both physical and mental disabilities. I thank you for this performance and for speaking to my weak soul. God bless you brother ❤️ Also, seeing this crowd push for a Golden buzzer really made me smile, Humans are really beautiful.
Musa is amazing! I’m in tears as I’m writing this because his performance was soul-baring. He’s a gift from God. Also he said “Musa wakwa Motha”, a true South African 😭❤️
So many of us from SA supporting you young man! Keep smiling! Keep shining! Thank you to the judges for acknowledging this man in such a special way ❤ your compassion and kindness is what the world needs to see.
The type of the love that exudes from the BGT audience is outta this world 🙆 you guys literally made this golden buzzer a reality. God bless y'all. Big up's musa! The world is your dominion.🥰 Loads of love from pH Nigeria 💙🤎🤍💖💝💚🤍🧡💙🤎🤍💖💝💝💯
OMG…I just cried from the minute he started dancing to the end. So inspirational. What an AMAZING young man. I’m saving this to watch forever, and sharing with all my friends. Unbelievable. Thank you so much for sharing your talent. I’m wreaked with the overwhelm of the beauty and strength of your character. All the best!
Honestly must be one of the iconic auditions on any version of this show - ever. And rightly so. As a South African, I'm slightly biased I admit, but I cry when I watch this man dance not because he has only one leg (often that simply makes me wonder "WTF - how?!" when he does certain things) but because that is what a true artist does through their work - they make you feel. They're able to tell you a story. They leave you exhilarated, amazed, contemplative, and most importantly, ready to watch it again almost immediately. You can feel their passion through a screen, let alone by watching live. I know some people wrote Musa Motha off as a supposed "sob story" but beyond being part of his story - especially about why he started dancing - and the factual element of how it might affect how he trains with able-bodied dancers (bear in mind, asking dancers how long they've trained for something like this is a standard question), his message is not "look at me, look at what I'm doing despite my disability". It's a testament to what passion and hard work can achieve. It is also a message to everybody that no matter how late you might start in life, or whatever the obstacle you're facing, leave "impossible" behind. It is also a reminder to everyone to check their preconceived notions of skill, perfection and beauty at the door. Until 2018, Musa had only been informally/self-trained. He had been dancing on netball courts, on open-air stages, etc. Until he auditioned for Gregory Maqoma at Vuyani, who recounted his shock on radio at seeing an amputee dancer but reiterated that Musa would be treated the same as the other candidates. Auditions were open, apparently, and he was successful. However, it was basically his first introduction to contemporary dance and he was already in his 20s at the time. He was introduced to ballet even later in life. Nothing about that is normal for most dancers, as far as I know. It is simply not normal to be able to both pick up and adjust modern and classical dance moves in such a short period of time. His choreography is also incredible. The first production he danced in the UK earned him a nomination for best male contemporary dancer and a win for emerging artist of the year. That's a lot to achieve when your initial training was learning to dance on broken concrete using squares drawn in chalk by supportive friends. And no, that's not to elicit sympathy either - it's to reiterate that he clearly has a gift. And leave the "already a pro" comments at the door as well - most of the contestants on these shows have some presence in their industry when they participate, especially in the age of social media. Fact of the matter is, you feel enriched after watching him dance. He's one of the most mesmerizing performers I've ever watched. If you hyperfocus on the fact that he happens to have a missing leg, that's on you.
@kellyrobbins8255 I don't think it was a sob story. In the American version you see average performances getting put through because of the background story , but this guy was different. He's gone through a lot but he changed it to something positive and has worked hard. But most of all, he's amazingly talented!! This performance really moved me, he definitely deserved the buzzer!
This has to be the most emotional golden buzzer moment l've seen in the show's history. Thank you audience for the overwhelming love you all showed this incredible young man. SPEECHLESS
Hands down the best audition I’ve ever seen on BGT , the audience was just as amazing. This was sooo beautiful to watch , I couldn’t stop crying. As a South African living in England, I’m so proud ❤❤
True inspiration. Us brits moan about silly things yet musa has had a tough life and comes to the uk and does this. Wow just wow he will win this show hands down. ❤️
Sono stupefatta , guardarlo mille volte mi fa capire come sono le emozioni a renderci più forti ! Sei il nostro esempio di vita ! In lui vedo tutto , autostima , confidenza , determinazione e umiltà ! Sei bellissimo Musa , grazie mille !!!!!♥️♥️♥️
Tears flowed from my eyes effortlessly. This is the first time Simon lost control of his show to the Audience. Congratulations Musa- you are the definition of Courage and elegance.
As a South African. Very proud of his amazing emotional dance and I would love to know who taught him as I am convinced there are many out there doing this to overcome their disabilities- many thanks to these people teaching them
Musa has been a township street dance sensation. In 2018 he joined Vuyani Dance Theatre in Johannesburg founded by Gregory Maqoma . As far as I know, all the dancers are able bodied and he was the only one with disability.
I wasn’t even in the crowd, but I was yelling, “Golden Buzzer” with them. That just proves that he didn’t just impact the crowd, but he impacted the world.
@@limamackenzie4150 well respect your point of view but i just dont agree with it i mean can you imagine dancing that way using only one leg just put yourself in his shoes for a minute
This mans incredible dance communicated his intense struggle...And his extraordinary triumph. Brilliant artist. Thank you, Musa. You are the meaning of inspiration through art 🙏🌹

Amazing dancer. Her smile. Her talent. Her soul. Her resilience. Amazing. Amazing. And tears❤❤❤❤
I have watched this countless times, cried with joy for him. He truly deserved the Golden Buzzer❤❤❤❤
Me too! He is so inspirational xx
Amen
With everything going on in our country, we needed this more that anything right now 😢❤

Superb
As a south African, right now all my fears disappeared and I am in tears...well done Musa!! And thank you to the audience
Well said!
What the enemy meant for evil,God turned it for good ❤.
I totally cried watching this..we have no excuse to not pursue our dreams..Musah has showed us that
Musa shows that no matter what happens in life to never give up. And all the judges pushing the golden buzzer show how much they loved his spirit and how inspiring he is.
THANK YOU MUSA!!! I NEEDED THAT. THANKS FOR SHOWING UP!
The audience spoke, the judges listened. He definitely deserved this. Awesome performance. Kudos to him. Good luck to you.
Totally agree
Absolutely. This was a special moment to everyone involved
The chants and love he is getting shows how amazing he is. When they hit the buzzer I cried. Shine on Musa!!!The world loves and appreciates you🥰🥰🥰🥰
No it doesn't. The chants came from braindead, reality TV brainwashed woke vaccinated weirdos. The world as we knew it has ended.

We describe people like Musa as having a disability but he’s turned this into an incredible ABILITY that full-bodied people couldn’t actually perform. Fantastic and inspirational 💪
Ikr and I have two disabilities but I don’t let it stop me from achieving my goals and dreams 😉🥲👍💪🏾🙏🏿🙌
Imagine how brave he was when he decided to learn how to dance with one leg while many people can’t even dance good with 2 legs. Super soul he is.

One more thing this audition should be played in the hospital rooms for every person facing cancer and or amputation!!! He’s amazing!!!! 💜💜💜

The smile on his face regardless of his physical challenge only proved that the human spirit is capable of spreading positivity. Salute!
👏👏👏👊👊👊❤❤❤🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I wish Musa all the best👊👊👊❤❤❤
I admire his strength and his dancing is sublime.
😢😢😢
The choice of song, The crowd, The Dancer. Everything about this performance is 100% !! Weldon, you’ve done well for yourself
You summed it all up, when the divine power is the maestro, there is no performer, judge or audience; there is only one symphony orchestra.
This has to be the most emotional golden buzzer moment l've seen in the show's history. Thank you audience for the overwhelming love you all showed this incredible young man. SPEECHLESS
