    Mate. Straight off the bat with the app recommendation this tutorial is full of gold. I’ve been wanting to mess around with Astro photography for years but always figured it would have some barrier to entry that I couldn’t get through. Now it seems pretty simple to at least try and also looks really fun! Cheeeers

    I don’t usually comment in RUclips, or never :D but i find your channel is really helpful for me as a time lapse beginner, I learn from my old gopro hero 5 and now i am planning to buy Sony a6400. What do you think about this camera for time lapse?

    • @MatthewVandeputte
      @MatthewVandeputte  4 года назад

      Love those Sony cameras but don't know how they are for timelapse. Thanks!

    Thanks Matt! I love your stuff! I have a Canon SL2 and a nifty 50 do you think I would be able to shoot some stars with this combo? Also what remote do you recommend?

    • @MatthewVandeputte
      @MatthewVandeputte  4 года назад

      You'll have to shoot shorter exposures with that focal length but give it a shot and see how it comes out!

    Canon 6D mk II, how high can I push the iso?

    • @MatthewVandeputte
      @MatthewVandeputte  4 года назад

      Pretty high. 6400 comfortably, will need to denoise a little bit depending on what you shoot and your lens. Any higher for timelapse and you're definitely going ti have to denoise a lot. Check my plugin video for that!

    Frckin awesome! I'll finally try to shoot some astro this year, thanks to your videos :) I have everything needed, found a dark spots near Sofia, Bulgaria (i.gyazo.com/c0dda041f4c551d6ba82838b151428a1.jpg). Just waiting to be able to drive outside of the city without official permission. Yeah, thx corona. I'm just curious - when and how you've experienced moisture during the night shots - when there's a big amplitude in the day/night temperatures and it's the "rainy" season or else?
