Thirteen is the single most real movie I've ever seen, and I don't think many people got that. People thought the ending was bad, or that what they were doing was cool. I fucked up in life like that before when I was 12-13. That shit fucks with you when you get past it. It haunts people for the rest of their life. It's the most sad and real thing that happens to teens to this day. This reality was so glorified when people started the movie and most of the audience glorified it more by the end of the movie. The movie and the way it connected with its audience is like a summary of the part of reality the movie intended to highlight. I love the movie and I'm so disappointed in the people who didn't get the point of it.
