I used to feel exactly like this, but I held on for dear life. like a fish in a storm holding on to seaweed to hide from the current. I felt myself suffocating, I was at the edge of the precise. This empty bottomless pit that whispered lies into my ears. I never thought that I'd consider doing something like that but I did. Thankfully I never tried anything, I held firm with my head above the water as it tried to drown me. My best friend who studies psychology introduced me to some elements of Buddhism. This helped immensely with my depression and anxiety. He told me to let go of my frustration. That the anger I was harboring towards my demons was actually towards myself. I was angry and frustrated at him at first, I didn't understand what he was talking about. He told me to close my eyes and imagine all the things you hate about yourself. All the shadows and ghosts that haunt your mind. He told me to hug them. For they are simply children making a tantrum. They are lost and in need of love just like you. So hold them, tell them that you love them. He then repeated that I should let go, that I should "accept and understand". And finally I did. You cannot change that within yourself without first accepting that this is how you feel, that it's ok to feel this way. And understanding not only your situation but how you feel. It is only when you are at peace with yourself. When you love yourself, that you can truly begin to grow again ✨️ I wish you the very best. If you read all of this you're a gem.

When I first went to the doctor and they told me the news, I cried until my eyes could produce no more tears. I missed a lot of school and dropped out of highschool my sophmore year, and was the gossip of my peers. But I can also tell you that I was not ashamed, and after I came to the full comprehension of my reality I was no longer sad. Yes I was worried about my future and goals that I felt would now never come true(which ended up being false but thats another story), but I never regretted the life that was growing inside of me. My boyfriend at the time begged me to get an abortion at which I kindly said to him to “Fuck off”. I was not about to throw away my beautiful baby’s life because it was “bad timing" and I was still merely a teenager. I love my beautiful daughter to death and I can honestly say that she has changed my life for the better. I love her with all my heart and truly believe she has made me a better person(cliche, but true). Before I got pregnant I got into a lot of trouble and did a lot of regretful things, and I was also very selfish, but sense I have had her she has filled my life with joy and given me feelings and emotions I never even knew I could have for another person. She is my everything
