First fish with the 2021 BELLEZZA. Strange issues with Complex XR drag

Shad busting everywhere, hard for fish to key on little trout magnet.
Got a few bass and a bunch of small bluegill.
Snagged something big but lost it.
Rod is incredibly sensitive but stiffer than what label says.
Something is wrong with the drag of the Shimano Complex XR
Beautiful scenery all around. Very therapeutical.
