I believe Kubo is using 'Underbelly' as it pertains to being a weak spot. In slang (American English at least) the underbelly often refers to the hidden aspect (IE criminal influence, mafia shenanigans etc) or, to a weak spot. Nanana has the ability to find all of a person(might even just be anything, organic or not)'s weak spots and hit em all at once. Insane power for such an idiot.
Man this episode was cooking hard. The start of the episode is a subtle character moment for Soi Fon. She used her bankai without hesitating, something she would most likely not have done before. Aizen being Aizen. The scene between Kyoraku and Aizen reminds me SO much of Psycho-Pass. Another great character moment with Nanao standing her ground against Kenpachi. Mayuri shit talking Aizen. The whole gathering in front of the portal. Grimmjaw showing up to the sound of Garganta that I haven't heard in forever. Soo much good stuff :)
I think Ukitake is still alive to show that although Mimihagi was defeated it still lingers trying to hold the realms together. It explains why the world didn't collapse immediately

It is, even with the good amount of additions. But I wish old Bleach was like this. Some fights were so dragged out. Some meaningless filler scenes too. And the humour can be a double edged sword, I think it usually works worse in anime than in manga. In anime, it feels like it can really change and often ruin the mood of a scene. TYBW balancing it very well!
The pacing is perfect and the changes to the story are great. The way the random minor Shinigami are called back to R&D great, as well as the de-briefing with Yoruichi.
"the holy newborn" means next week is probably a flashback about ywach's existence how he came as a blind baby etc. Bits of informations we had up until now but it will be cemented in a big flashback with his current form of having absorbed soul king being akin to being born again. At least it's my guess for next week episode

But for a moment I freaked out and thought Aizen would really shoot down the palace, this was wild! And also.... It's pretty much expected that this cour will end with Shunsui vs Lille, so next cour will be Askin vs Urahara, Gerard vs everybody, Uryu vs Haschwalth, and the Final Battle. Each one of those seemed cut short by the manga coming to an end, so I could see each of those taking 2 episodes (I would imagine Mayuri vs Pernida and Shunsui vs Lille will be 2 episodes each too since they're 10 chapter long blowouts). If that's the case then that's 8 episodes of cour 4 already covered. Add another episode for the epilogue and then we only need to figure out 4 more episodes. And if they didn't want to do that, well 9 episodes would be pretty fitting lol.

Mayuri and Aizen have actually been on screen together before. Back in turn back the pendulum, after Mayuri had been released from the nest, aizen addreses mayuri by his first name and as usual Mayuri doesnt like that.

Also, Ywach is references as the son of the Soul King who is essentially God (although I do not know if this is if this is in a figurative sense or in the actual real sense). Anyway, then son of God is Jesus. So Ywach is arguably an "evil" or maybe not "evil" but a sort of "villain Jesus". Ichigo would be equivalent to a new figure that's supposed to save the world from "evil Jesus" I guess.

It has names from the German play Faust and its also an outstanding anime/manga in its own right. Most if not all of Monsters characters are very interesting and delved into deeply to show their arcs and where they ultimately stand in their humanity. Just wondering I appreciate the Bleach videos since I feel you echo a lot of feelings that not a lot of people do from what I've seen.

I used to think that because of Hogyoku he doesn't have any particular characteristics of his own spiritual pressure because hogyoku keeps changing characteristics of his spiritual pressure each instant. If Aizen was not fused with Hogyoku it would have been understandable to see Aizen getting eliminated in one shot. Is spiritual pressure of those sternritters so low in comparable to Aizen that he didn't sense intruders or quincy coming close while he was talking with soul reapers. At least he should have scanned the whole Seireitei who is where when he came back to Seireitei. Perhaps because of his power, he wasn't afraid and stayed off guard completely.
I do not know how stable his reiatsu is, actually, we just know he has the highest in the series. So chairsama might very well disrupt it. As for Nanana blindsighting him, I think that is reasonable, he was focused on Kyoraku and gloating, after all =D

If the soul king fragment does so, why so? That's also stupid. Soul King will run out of his body if this keeps happening. There is no connection for child to get a soul king fragment for silly reasons like their mother was attacked by a Hollow. So what? Did Soul King personally pity them and give them a fragment? Or is it this way: Does a fullbringer is born if a human which was attacked by a hollow had a soul king fragment already? I want your clarification on it if you have any knowledge on it.
The mothers of fullbringers get attacked *because* they have a fragment of the soul king, not the other way around. Gingo didn't understand the reasons fully when he said that in the story. How the pieces of the Soul King entered the reincarnation cycle is obviously not explained (yet), it's a mystery.
