I'm an otr driver. In my heart and soul, something is calling me to stay home right now. I've run over this over and over again in my mind during the miles. It's not out of fear. It's my heart being open to his will. I don't agree but Will do what he put in my heart.
I came off the road in December 2021 the Lord woke me right up and told me get home get your gardens started and raise your chickens! I had been buying above ground beds wanted 15 only had 8 , built my leanto to raise meat chickens the year b4 poped a hernia 😩 but I got it done, built my hens coup and run and of course I whined to the Lord that I didn’t have everything yet, he told me get home now! Work with what you have! I am so glad I listened and came right off the road, I am a water truck driving for road construction now, yep I am one of those pains in the butt to all OTR drivers 😂 listen to him when he tells you to do something!

As far as gardening. We keep just trying to push thru. Both my husband and i cook homemade. A bag of beans and we can make soup. A chicken we are set for a couple days & soup. 💕💕nj

My husband has that problem. For him it is a Hiatal hernia, he thought it was heart problems. Everything came back clear. He could not eat rice nuts, grain, it would get stuck in their. For us the cure is water kefir. He can eat anything now , bo more issues.

That would be nice when you change the time of your live and I could catch some of it. I am an early to bed and early to rise person. Usually put my devices to bed at 7:30. ❤️🙏 right now I watch replays.

I am a week older than you Wanda!! Maybe I will win something. Danny you got this stress test! Looking forward to good results!
I make my own ketchup and cheat. I freeze dry heirloom tomatoes and blend to a powder. I double or triple the spices. When i get tired of cooking down the tomatoes i add some powder, cook for about 5 more min to give it time to thicken up. I repeat this process until it's as thick as I want it. I increase the spices so after adding the tomatoe powder you can still taste the seasonings. Depending on what I'm bottling, depends on how much tomato powder I need. With this method i can make tomato paste in 2-4 hours. When bottling tomato products with spices, I vook for at least 3 hour so the flavors mix and meld

I've been seeing a nutritionist for almost 2 years. He said my adrenals were shot also. He has me taking a supplement called Drenamin and Cataplex B from Standard Process. Hope you get answers.
Has Danny had an endoscopy? My daughter has autonimic issues that cause a racing heart but most of her chest pains are caused by Eosinophilic esophagitis.
I had ee and started trying to figure out if I was allergic to something, my Gastro said some people have allergies they never figure out that cause ee. I cut out nuts and most of any soy products and my last checkup it was gone!
While the climate zone designations are a good reference for growing, they don't change AS they are happening. The last couple of years has taught us (considering our resources and space) is we must make changes quickly if we want to store back enough to cover the 2 months non-growing season. That translated into sizing down our plants (dwarfs) so they can be moved "easily" in containers to provide them the best environment possible. Large high tunnels would help us, but we're not there yet.....I prayed on a solution that came to be----powerful LED growing lights, now occupying 200 sq. ft. of the she-shed. We call it the "Day Spa", where plants go to recover from whatever unusual environmental impacts they have suffered. Additionally, we are growing 1/2 of our 2nd round dwarf tomatoes entirely under lights as a test. They have matured an estimated 15 days earlier than the others----we have had tons of rain and not much sunshine on the coast for the last few weeks.....Not every adjustment we've made has worked, but oh well, that's the way it goes.

So sorry😢 Don't give up! We grow a lot of food and have for years but we still have losses. This year one deer was able to jump a fence that we considered deer-proof because none had ever jumped it before. Lost a lot of our apples. A woodchuck out-smarted the electric fence and mowed down the whole carrot bed. It's heartbreaking and enraging BUT it allowed us to improve our fences while we still have time. And it's the losses that have taught us that we need more than a year of food stored up in case there is a failure or loss.
Is the red dust all the crap in our pool? We have not been able to keep our pool clean. It is full of solids that rain from the sky. We have cleaned our filters 10 times this year. Usually clean it 2 x per year.
It is the beginning.

I had a "Deep South/Pecan Grove" thought...After years of building up the name Deep South Homestead, and a huge following...it seems odd to me to Change you guys name at this point. Where you actually physically live doesn't matter...we know you as Danny & Wanda/DSH. You could live in Idaho...and we would still know you as DSH!. I worry that it might be breaking up your following by changing NAMES at this point? Know what I mean??
With porch time on dsh, we fear that channel may go away. They have pulled a few. As they change the rules, some older pt could get it pulled. Pecan Grove is our second and permanent home if that happens

I have Addison's Disease/Adrenal Insufficiency. If that was your problem you would know it, because if your Adrenal glands were shot they wouldn't start again. Just the opinion of someone who has had it since 2008.
You need prednisone or some type of steroids.
