Thank you for this video, I'm making turns at the moment for work and been struggling to get an appealing movement, looking forward to trying this workflow tomorrow :)
I see the channel is growing, that's awesome. The quality of your content is top notch. It will be one of the best animation channels on RUclips for sure
It's always helpful and useful. Thank you. I come to this channel to study whenever my animation work is at a loss. The timing section was especially helpful.
Heya Mark! First of all, these layered tutorials have helped. A TON. Ive been watching the tutorials alongside watching Pratt Bros, Watch me animate and Ayoub. All of which have helped me learn to animate layering and realistically find it a lot nicer to animate body mechanics as it allows me to envision the mechanics faster than pose to pose so far. I did want to ask though about two things if thats okay! Since im still a student I do want to know would you tend to bake down on 2s or anything for a version if your director or person in charge wanted to see your process or would you send them how it looks in layered? Main reason being I keep hearing about people that could work on your shots and if its messy it could cause issues, but id like to get your opinion as someone who works in layered! Secondly is how would you go about retiming things if you thought it was to slow or fast in areas? I saw you use a plugin for adding a keyframe or remove which I think is something similar I have with Zurbriggs Plugin but in your opinion how would you find the most reasonable way to retime potentially? Many thanks and I appreciate all the help you give all of us animators! It really is appreciated a ton
This is really informative and fun to watch. I just viewed your channel and it's a great learning resource. I was wondering if u could do that step-by-step animation workflow videos but in a more acceseble tool such as a blender. But still, excellent work keep up🔥🔥🔥
Great video! Question how would I go about doing this workflow in blender? I l know there is a baking option in blender, not sure if the feet will follow.
Hi, I want to start learning animation soon, but before I start I want to clear this question and hope you can help. I saw sometimes people animate a walk by keeping the character at same place and sometime they make character move away from the root bone. Obviously, these two technique has their own name but I am too moron to figure it out. May I ask what are these two technique called and why use one instead of the other. Thanks 🙏
