This is by far the best mash up I've heard. The singers sound so natural despite the pitch being pulled lower and the ending actually sounds convincing and well put together compared to other versions. Good job!!! 😍😍😍

Evelynn and Kayn are fans of Pentakill. Heartsteel kayn comments that sona is better with pentakill than being a solo DJ. Yone and Yasuo are still brothers.

To be honest, most artists, or in this case music directors, have their own "comfort zone", it can be anything from a single sample, to the pacing of the whole song. Because of that, most songs made under riot have very similar pacings and flow.
All of this is absolutely incredible! I especially loved how you made Akali and Sett's verses into a rap "battle" basically. The transitions back-n-forth between the two were so perfectly done! Bravo!!
I know I commented already but after really listening to the lyrics of both songs together, this came to mind: Putting the lyrics like this really gives me “battle of the bands” energy. Both songs using “they” when originally referring to the “haters” actually can be interpreted here as “they” = the other band they’re against (K/DA saying Heartsteel aren’t as good as them and vice-versa). Especially in the beginning with the demons (Rhaast/Kayn and Eve) going back and forth (basically saying “no no you should be more afraid of ME” to each other). And then again with the 2 rappers going back and forth (akali saying “I’m quicker/you can’t handle me” and Sett basically saying “I’m stronger/you’re the one who can’t handle ME). Then the 2 choruses with Ezreal basically like “good luck catching me-I’m going to catch you by surprise and take you down” and K/DA replying “LOL yeah OK good luck with that-you can’t and won’t take US down.” Then K’Sante’s bridge just taking a moment to be real and candid about what it’s like for both groups being in the spotlight. Chef’s kiss 🤌🏼 as Ryan Gosling’s Ken would say: “SUBLIME”
Oh yeah, definitely. It’s also in the interplay between the music videos as well. K/DA is kind of set up as the reigning king that the scrappy comeback boys from Heartsteel are looking to take down. Kayn starts off like the infiltrator, breaking in while Evelynn lounges in her vault, both confident in their superiority and that the other has underestimated them. Rhaast is running amok and you don’t know who is in control of the situation. A similar thing is happening with Ahri and Ezreal in the next scene, she’s unperturbed while Ez is walking all over the place after Kayn let him in. Then we get to Akali with her ‘warpaint’ on, like a dangerous bodyguard that’s on the prowl. Her verses much more confrontational which matches with the direct persona of Sett. Then it cuts to them as groups. K/DA dancing in sync while Heartsteel makes their crazy getaway showcasing their different talents as synchronised dancers and individual stuntmen respectively. There’s more but I’ll leave it for later.
One of my favourites is how it goes in the middle of Akali and Sett’s rap battle. You can hear Eve and Ahri backing up Akali through her verse culminating in Ahri’e charm spell and Eve’s big ‘whoaaa’ as the camera robot throws that uppercut, putting Sett on the back foot Only for him to get some backup in the nick of time, in Ezreal with the images of all his mates as well pushing him forward. Sett gets his second wind and demolishes that guard bot with a surging RAGE as Akali throws down her spray can/smoke bomb, forced to retreat as Sett retakes the initiative and levels the playing field as the chorus kicks in again. We then get kind of a battle of effects as K’sante/Tobi gets their solo verse, with Aphelios and Yone putting in the effect work back and forth with Kai’sa and Akali. Ending with Yone getting serious and dropping that building, and Ahri detonating as everyone scrambles to get out of the blast radius and regroup for the last chorus.
And that last chorus is kind of less confrontational and more “Here’s the lineup, get a good look” as everyone gets a bit of camera time, from K/DA dancing and posing one by one to Heartseel’s goofing around onstage and their mugshots culminating in their final shots, Heartsteel making their getaway with nobody left behind (I love that shot of Yone leaping onto the car and them getting ready to catch him.) and giving a thumb up/ cheers to the audience as they ride into the sunset while K/DA pulls one last pose.
This is absolutely incredible. The way you faded it in and out of different vocal sections is near seamless. This isn't just a mashup these songs sound like they should be one. Not to mention the video editing. Absolute banger
this is the best mashup version yet. the way you managed to include all the catchy parts of each song without one overpowering the other or sounding like the two audio tracks were just merged together is amazing. despite so many things happening at once, it doesnt sound overwhelming. its literally like experiencing the peak hype of both songs all at once. other mashups left something to be desired, since they cut off parts of one song to give way to the other, but this version is perfectly balanced
this is legitimately the best Heartsteel/KDA mashup ive heard so far, i love that you put K'Sante's bridge in the empty space PopStars has. I always stop listening at that part of PopStars so i think Paranoia makes up for that empty space beautifully, also the way you layered the lyrics, especially the chorus was amazing. Everything flowed together and complimented each other perfectly. Even the combination of Akali's rap and Sett's rap was put together amazingly.
The transitions between the two songs and the music videos feel so natural in this mashup!! And i love how the ending resolved without it being obvious that Popstars is a lil shorter than Paranoia!! This whole video is so well done!! 2:55 This part especially gave me chills!!
I see people talking about how this made them appreciate Paranoia but tbh this made me appreciate Pop/Stars more as I didn't really like listening to it on its own too much.
I'm unbelievably impressed by this. It feels like a genuine mashup between two bands, and almost a call and response for the different parts. I especially liked Akali and Sett passing off the rap, especially when the KDA drop hits and rather than the chorus it's Sett continuing his rap. Idk I thought it was cool

i love the pairings in this!! like with Eve and Kayn/Rhaast both being demons with deeper voice was genius. Akali and Sett both being fighters, so it ends up sound like they are having like a rap battle which fits both characters so well!! also the smith and calm nature of both Ezreals and Ahris voice works so well together. really well made!!

I like Paranoia just fine, but I have to say, I love how the vocals for Paranoia sound on the backtrack for Popstars a lot more than their own song xD I've been playing this mashup on loop.
When hearing Paranoia I felt like Ezreal’s part was suppose to lead to a bigger drop then the chorus, like I like the chorus but I feel like with the build up it just comes out a bit too mellow, I think the drop on drum go dumb would fit perfectly.
This is absolutely amazing!!!! The best mix hands down of both songs. I especially want to highlight Kayn's and Evelynn's verses at the beginning. They kinda compliment each other and I really see them as boy and girl versions of each other. But in particular that transition from the lasers to the skull eyes....PERFECTION......the "you won't know how to react" part at 0:27 where he's in front of K'Sante and he's like WTF and frightened a bit ....fits the lyric. AND the 'wild in my veins" to Kayn's lyric of "losing my mind" ....ALSO PERFECTION.......to the spinning transition of Ah'ri. I literally could go on and on about each detail. You hit a bullseye with this mashup.

this is the best mashup version yet. the way you managed to include all the catchy parts of each song without one overpowering the other or sounding like the two audio tracks were just merged together is amazing. despite so many things happening at once, it doesnt sound overwhelming. its literally like experiencing the peak hype of both songs all at once. other mashups left something to be desired, since they cut off parts of one song to give way to the other, but this version is perfectly balanced

this is legitimately the best Heartsteel/KDA mashup ive heard so far, i love that you put K'Sante's bridge in the empty space PopStars has. I always stop listening at that part of PopStars so i think Paranoia makes up for that empty space beautifully, also the way you layered the lyrics, especially the chorus was amazing. Everything flowed together and complimented each other perfectly. Even the combination of Akali's rap and Sett's rap was put together amazingly.

The transitions between the two songs and the music videos feel so natural in this mashup!! And i love how the ending resolved without it being obvious that Popstars is a lil shorter than Paranoia!! This whole video is so well done!!

i love the pairings in this!! like with Eve and Kayn/Rhaast both being demons with deeper voice was genius. Akali and Sett both being fighters, so it ends up sound like they are having like a rap battle which fits both characters so well!! also the smith and calm nature of both Ezreals and Ahris voice works so well together. really well made!!

When hearing Paranoia I felt like Ezreal’s part was suppose to lead to a bigger drop then the chorus, like I like the chorus but I feel like with the build up it just comes out a bit too mellow, I think the drop on drum go dumb would fit perfectly.

This is absolutely amazing!!!! The best mix hands down of both songs.
I especially want to highlight Kayn's and Evelynn's verses at the beginning.
They kinda compliment each other and I really see them as boy and girl versions of each other. But in particular that transition from the lasers to the skull eyes....PERFECTION......the "you won't know how to react" part at 0:27 where he's in front of K'Sante and he's like WTF and frightened a bit ....fits the lyric. AND the 'wild in my veins" to Kayn's lyric of "losing my mind" ....ALSO PERFECTION.......to the spinning transition of Ah'ri.
